Part 4 - The Apostate Shipwreck of the Evangelical Mennonite Conference (EMC)

Updated: Apr 4

We have come to the final chapter in the sordid account of the apostate shipwreck of the EMC denomination, which puts the final dagger in EMC's ship of despair as it continues its plunge to its watery grave, where we will cover the following points of apostasy:

  • "6. EMC is Ecumenical and Friendly Towards and Educated by False Teachers and Their Programs  (2 Tim 4:3-4; cf. Ac 20:28-30); Recommending, Quoting and Embracing Dangerous Compromisers, False Teachers and Apostates."

  • "7. EMC is Sold out to Neo-Evangelicalism and Many Emerging Church Heresies."

  • "Conclusion and Final Analysis"

Here goes one final toss of the life preserver.

6. EMC is Ecumenical, and Friendly Towards and Educated by False Teachers and Their Programs  (2 Tim 4:3-4; cf. Ac 20:28-30); Recommending, Quoting and Embracing Dangerous Compromisers, False Teachers and Apostates.

There is so much, where does one begin.

EMC is in close affiliation with, and full support of heretical and apostate organizations, some of which are extremely Biblically corrupt, apostate and spiritually bankrupt.

EMC Partner groups include some pretty heretical organizations such as ones listed "EMC About" (EMC website):

"We are indebted to the Protestant Reformation. We are a part of the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada [EFC], the Mennonite World Conference [MWC], Mennonite Central Committee [MCC], the Council of Anabaptist International Ministries [CAIM], and the Canadian Council of Christian Charities [CCCC]."

Every last one of these groups is unBiblical to the core and excessively heretical, some more than others, and some utterly apostate. Each one, in detail, would exceed this report in totality by a long shot. EMC is a Mennonite denomination. They say they are "indebted to the Protestant Reformation." Additionally, Mennonites aren't the product of the Protestant Reformation. Menno Simons was not a reformer. He joined the Baptist/Anabaptist churches after his salvation, becoming a Baptist minister in the true stream of churches that has always existed from the time of John the Baptist. He very loosely associated with Protestant reformers, and I suspect there was reason for that.

Absolutely no truly redeemed believer would have anything to do with any of these terribly unscriptural organizations.

EMC and the World Council of Churches (WCC). EMC is a direct member of the extremely heretical organization EFC, and EFC in turn is a member of the horribly apostate World Evangelical Alliance (WEA), which in turn is a member of the ever so wicked and apostate and new age World Council of Churches (WCC), a bastion of everything heretical and evil that opposes God's Word, while flying under the banner of Christianity. This group is so nauseating unscriptural, no amount of words can adequately describe their evil and unfruitful works of darkness. The WCC is extremely ecumenical, in fellowship with every single false "Christian" sect and so-called religion in the world; severely apostate (a serious understatement); they worship the Sophia goddess; celebrate homosexuality and pride; claim God is an “abusive parent;” pray to trees; baptizes heathenism; pray to false goddesses; reject the inerrancy and infallibility of Scripture (actually rejects God's Word altogether); embrace universalism of all religions and that all faiths are one with God (even calling pagan, non-professing Christians as "brothers and sisters"); believe the rainbow serpent created the world; all religious cults of the world (Hindus, Buddhist, Moslems, etc) are invited as guests to conferences; angry, evil, hateful feminist women rule the show while children oppress them (cf. Is 3:12); spiritualizing pagan practices; they hate true NT missionary work; claim chanting is better than prayer; promote false names of God such as "bakerwoman god" and many other ungodly and heretical names; claim no religion is darkness; Mary was not a virgin; at one with Roman Catholicism; etc, the list goes on and on, nigh endless. There is no hints of truth in this evil organization of unfruitful darkness (Eph 5:11). I would say that majority people involved with this evil, diabolical group are demon-possessed. Keep reading here about this excessively heretical and evil organization. Now get this, EMC is actually directly tied to this utterly wicked organization. Mennonite World Conference (MWC) is also a member of the WCC.

According to a report in 2009, Olav Tveit, the newly elected general secretary of the WCC, said that ecumenical unity remains the organization’s primary task (“Church Unity,” Christian Post, Aug 28, 2009). Citing Jesus’ prayer in John 17, Tveit called for “Christian solidarity in this world.” He said he is committed to fostering unity between Protestants, Roman Catholics, Pentecostals, and Evangelicals. He also called for closer relations between the WCC and Islam. I don't think its a coincidence that these evil false "Christian" groups feel strong affinity towards Satan's own inspired ideology: Islam. This unregenerate man is Satanically deceived for a truckload of reasons including the fact that Jesus’ prayer in John 17 has nothing to do with ecumenical unity. It is a prayer, not a command, and it was answered 2,000 years ago! Those who are born again and are committed to the truth of God’s Word possess a spiritual unity that cannot be created or replicated by man-made programs. This is why these groups are bastions of disunity, with a false pretence of unity. They are "Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth." (2 Tim 3:7). Which is because they are unsaved, false professing Judases. Jesus prayed for those who receive and keep God’s Word (Jn 17:6-8). That certainly does not apply to the grossly apostate WCC!

EMC and the Mennonite World Conference. EMC has been members of the extremely heretical and apostate MWC since Aug 11, 2003, which is very similar in many ways to the WCC, containing massive amounts of heresy and fully committed to apostasy. EMC's scope with MWC is that of “International”, which means EMC is engaged internationally in missions with MWC according to the GAMCo survey. Ron Penner (Aberdeen EMC) is (or was) the EMC representative to MWC and is also on the MWC Executive Committee (The Messenger, June 2011, p. 29). It almost appears as a fairy tale considering what God's Word has to say about it. Nothing at MWC even closely resembles Biblical Christianity. They are completely sold out to wokeness, worldliness, feminism, worshipping the earth and cults and paganism, and everything heretical and evil one can possibly conceive. This organization is incredibly apostate and made up of only wolves, but there goes EMC, right on board the black train heading down the broad path to destruction, death and damnation.

MWC is also extremely anti-Semitic, which is unsurprising seeing that Satan hates the Jewish people and true Christians ( Rev 12:13-17). In this they are merely reflecting the character of their father (Jn 8:44). MWC was one of the founding leaders of “Christian” Peacemaking Teams (CPT), which is rabidly anti-Semitic and pro-Islamic to the core, which is just unbelievable knowing how demonic and evil Islam really is and the fact that Israel is God’s chosen people, common knowledge for any preofessing believer. In the 2010 annual review of CPT, the following statement was printed in the section on Palestine, which says everything about this ungodly and diabolical group:

CPT-Palestine seeks to support Palestinian-led, nonviolent, grassroots resistance to the Israeli occupation and the unjust structures that uphold it.

The "nonviolent" part is deception and a red herring. Every single "Palestinian-led resistant" group is Islamic and violent and Satanic to the core. The teachings of the unholy Quran tells us this (>100 verses commanding the "good" Moslem to kill and slaughter and destroy in the name of Allah), while the endless tens of thousands of Islamic-fuelled terrorist attacks around the world exemplifies this for us, including the demonic, evil, barbaric, sadistic, and beastly attack on innocent Israelites on Oct 7, 2023 (they always attack the innocent, especially women, children, elderly). Hell almost seems to nice of a place for these wicked devils and "natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed," (2 Pet 2:12).

EMC and Roman Catholicism. EMC and many, if not all, of its association (such as EFC, MWC, CMU, MCC, Ron Sider, David Shenk, etc) associate closely with Rome. We certainly know that both EMC and the MWC are in a close and affectionate relationship with Roman Catholicism (RCC).

In Oct of 2007, Mennonites from ten countries spent nearly a week dialoguing with Catholic leaders in Rome, which included “Ron Penner from the Evangelical Mennonite Conference in Canada.” Penner headed the EMC for five years and was one of the individuals involved in the long term unBiblical and ecumenical Mennonite-Catholic dialogue that actually started back in 1998, and he stated he was "delighted to join [the] group." The group met on and off over the years and had reorganized in 2007, with the apostate, heretic Helmet Harder, teacher of the horribly unscriptural and heretical Canadian Mennonite Bible College and Mennonite Church Canada. These are unregenerate, Bible-denying, woke, liberal, ungodly and apostate institutions, which speaks volumes of who Helmet Harder is, though his wicked ecumenicalism with Babylon the Great Whore (aka. Rome, Rev 17-18) tells the story on its own. The following meeting report represents one of many gatherings that took place between the Mennonites and Catholics (https://www.cmu.ca/library/Mennonite-Catholic_Dialogue/2010-01-14%20Mtg%2029.pdf).

The event which started back in 1998 and was hosted by the Roman Catholic Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity. Nancy Heisey, president of the MWC, stated, concerning the Catholic Council,

"We were so warmly welcomed that it was almost overwhelming." ("Mennonite Delegation Visits Catholic Leaders in Rome," The Mennonite, Nov. 5, 2007).

I bet they were. RCC claims to be the one true church of Jesus Christ, and its ecumenical endeavors are an attempt to woo the "separated brethren" back into the fold. This is openly admitted in the Vatican II documents. The truth is, Rome's the Great Whore and Mother of All Harlots (Rev 17-18), which includes EMC, and she is merely welcoming a harlot back into her brothel.

The Mennonite World Conference News Service announced that the goal was to:

"Emphasize reconciliation rather than doctrinal differences" (ibid, Nov 10, 1998, p. 11)

MWC executive secretary Larry Miller said,

"I think the fundamental reason [for the dialogue invitation from Rome] is that the Catholic Church cares theologically and deeply about the unity of the church. The leaders of the Pontifical Council really believe that it is the will of Christ that his disciples seek better relations, that division among Christians is a stumbling block to the world." (ibid)

The give and take unscriptural ecumenical aspect of this theological dialogue, which had already taken place over nine years at hat point between these Mennonites and Rome, was emphasized in comments made by Mennonite delegate Mulugeta Zewdie of Ethiopia:

"As Mennonites, we have something to share and to learn at the same time. The dialogue and this visit can help [us] fellowship with Catholics at the local level." (ibid)

The ecumenicalism and "unity" that Rome strives after, and Mennonite groups such as MWC and EMC have been seduced into, is not of God (2 Cor 6:14-18; Rom 16:17-18; Phil 3:17-19; 2 Jn 1:9-11). Fellowship with a people that blaspheme God and His Word (e.g. transubstantiation, eucharist), with their unscriptural sacramental "baptism," mariolatry (worshipping Mary as God), who twist and corrupt and wrest the entire Word of God (including adding and taking words away from Scripture), who call a man "Father," who blaspheme communion, who add works to salvation and preach a false gospel, who pretend to be little gods to whom you must confess sin to be forgiven, a cult with the blood of at least 50 million murdered souls on its hands, and the list goes on and on — is not of God but of the Devil.

The Mennonites of the MWC have even had a private audience with Pope Benedict XVI, who also twisted Christ's words in John 17 out of context with his claim that "it is Christ Himself who calls us to seek Christian unity." This happens to be a favourite pet-passage go to verse among evangelicals (and Catholics evidently) today, to condone false unity and heretical ecumenicalism, noted also at EMC, who likewise wrest and abuse this passage on a continual basis, noted in The Messenger of January 2010, in an article focused on “Unity” at a retreat of sorts, where pastor Barry Plett (Blumenort EMC) stated,

Jesus is praying for perfect unity in the Steinbach EMC, in the Blumenort EMC, in all the churches in Steinbach, in Manitoba, in Canada and around the globe.

No Jesus isn’t. That is definitely not what Jesus is praying. Plett is bearing false witness and promoting ecumenical heresy through the perversion of Scripture. The president of the MWC, Heisey, told the pope that they shared a "great common heritage of faith" and discussed "the challenges of being God's people in this time." Neither her or the Pope or Catholicism can be considered "God's people." Heretics and apostates are not "God's people." She called the meeting with the pope "overwhelming" and "a very intense kind of experience" ("EMU Professor Meets Pope," Daily News-Record, Harrisburg, Virginia, Nov. 20, 2007).

The MWC Mennonites were also introduced to worshippers at the Santa Maria Maggiore (St. Mary Major) basilica. This blasphemous church features a large crucifix depicting Mary hanging on the cross with Jesus, a painting of Mary's alleged bodily assumption into heaven, a statue of Mary as the Queen of Peace, and a painting of Jesus crowning Mary Queen of Heaven. Of course NOT a single word was spoken against these blasphemous heresies by any of the Mennonites. All of this was in complete disobedience to and rejection of God’s Word (Eph. 5:11; Rom. 16:17-18; Phil. 3:17-19; 1 Jn. 4:1-7; 2 Jn. 1:9-11; etc), certifying an unsaved and deluded spiritual nature (2 Cor. 6:14-18).

It is evident that EMC has no issue with Roman Catholic ecumenicalism, as evident in their relations and associations and dialogues, which means they are in agreement (Am. 3:3), whether they admit that or not, and neither do they speak out against Catholicism.

Unbelievable how far these heretical Mennonites and "Christians" have fallen from the truth and into a deep ditch; how far they've strayed from the Word of God; and how utterly deceived they are concerning their own spiritual nature (cf. 2 Cor 4:2-4). This point alone exposes the deeply depraved apostasy and unregenerate nature of the Mennonites involved in this, including Penner, and their representative organizations, including EMC.

Menno Simons would be turning in his grave if he knew how far the so-called "Mennonites" of the 21st century had fallen away from God, from the truth, from righteousness and holiness, while allegedly proclaiming "Christianity." Simons lambasted and severely renounced the Church of Rome, calling the Pope the Antichrist. He did that because he obeyed the Bible, and that, because he was a true born again believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, while these heretical successors of his name sake believe, embrace, and purvey a counterfeit and bastardized version of the true gospel and salvation. But the greater offence of course is against God.

The Messenger publication with ex-editor Terry M. Smith of course has its share of pro-Catholicism promotion. Various articles printed in The Messenger confirm the positive fellowship with Rome and yearning for closer association. Clearly the new birth and the truth of God’s Word has no true and scriptural value or power at EMC, that much is evident. Mennonites including EMC have largely deteriorated into a form of godliness without the power thereof (2 Tim. 3:5). Once upon a time Mennonites boldly and unequivocally rejected Rome's false gospel, but today they seek unity with Rome. It is not the RCC that has changed. All such Mennonites are undeniably lost. There is certainly no doubt about that.

“Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools” (Rom. 1:22).

EMC and Mennonite Central Committee (MCC). EMC also plays a big part of MCC, a huge sponsor, endorser and champion of MCC, an organization that is so unBiblical and apostate, most others pale in comparison. "MCC is the largest and most influential Anabaptist organization in the world. It has nearly 1,200 workers and an annual budget of $82 million. It’s reach extends to 62 countries abroad, and here in North America it encompasses 14 denominations." ((Will Braun, MCC Centrality Questioned, Canadian Mennonite publication, Nov 29, 2010, p. 4). MCC has practically and theologically ZERO resemblance to anything Biblical. It may be a humanitarian organization with all its social aid and relief work, but it’s definitely NOT an endorser and ambassador and glorifier of the Lord Jesus Christ and God’s Word. Far, far from it. But they do carry the name “Mennonite” and occasional far-flung reference to “Christianity” to seduce simple-minded “believers” to empty their pockets and back their unBiblical social needs. MCC is so patently heretical and ungodly that it unashamedly and openly embraces and endorses pro-sodomy, pro-Islam, anti-Semitism, Christ at the Checkpoint (an ungodly anti-Israel, pro-Islamic replacement "theology" conference), and many other great evils of these last days. MCC’s Welcome Project is “Mennonites Working to Increase Dialogue on Gay and Lesbian Inclusion.” MCC sponsors ecumenical “prayers for peace” event with Interfaith Grand Rivers. In Canadian Mennonite newsletter (Dec 20, 2010, p.29), a publication by Mennonite Church Canada, “Candles were lit for participants to hold during prayers for peace at the Interfaith Peace Vigil held the evening of Nov. 11 in the Waterloo, Ont., Town Square. About 100 people gathered to hear Christian as well as Baha’i, Buddhist, Hindu, Jewish, Muslim, Sikh and Unitarian prayers for peace. Many of those who prayed were part of Interfaith Grand River, which sponsored the event with Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) Ontario. MCC made a YouTube video of the event.” Wow! They are closely associated with Roman Catholicism as well. There is no true Biblical Christianity at MCC at all but plenty of social-justice, climate change and environmentalism, feminism, humanism; etc, and the only thing “religious” —of course we can’t neglect to mention— is the ecumenicalism and interfaith-dialogue and a false worship “not in Spirit and in truth” (as the Bible commands) but rather “faithful justice” (whatever that means!). Keep reading here details on the many Biblical Reasons Why No True Christian Supports the Apostate Mennonite Central Committee (MCC).

That EMC is part of EFC, MWC, MCC and WCC (possibly not CAIM and CCCC any longer) and in fellowship with Roman Catholicism speaks absolute volumes and is tell tale. This point alone proves the terribly apostasy of EMC. But that is not all.

Other heretical and apostate partner parachurch organizations and educational institutions of EMC include:

"Steinbach Bible College, Canadian Mennonite University (CMU), MCC Canada, Africa Inter-Mennonite Mission, Frontiers, Inner City Youth Alive, MB Mission, Mid-Way Christian Leadership, Wycliffe Bible Translators, etc."

Every last one of these groups is extremely compromised, neo-evangelical and heretical. From false doctrine, to worldliness, to toleration of sin and sodomy, wokeness, severe corruption and wresting of Scripture, rejecting and denying large amounts of Scripture including inerrancy and inspiration and preservation, purveying a severely anemic and perverted gospel, blatant rebellion, ecumenicalism, zero indifference with the world, contemplative spirituality, ungodly music including rappers, rock and roll bands, and the list goes on. We will look at a few of these in particular.

EMC and Winnipeg Centre for Ministry Studies (WCMS). This extremely heretical and apostate so-called ministerial school is located on the CMU campus in Winnipeg. EMC churches advertise for this awfully heretical school, thus endorsing and promoting the school. The WCMS was formed in 2002 to serve five denominations and their respected educational institution, of which EMC is one (SBC), and also includes the excessively heretical and apostate Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary. By partnering together, does this mean that these so-called Mennonites have forgotten why they are named after Menno Simons? Are they now in agreement with Roman Catholicism, ecumenism, monasticism, and the emerging church with its contemplative mysticism, ungodly worship and all the other ancient and end-times heresies and fables (2 Tim 4:3-4)? Does this mean they are also in support of CMU’s recent Refreshing Winds conference with Brian McLaren that is still being highlighting on their website. Are mergers and money more important than being faithful and true to the gospel of Jesus Christ? What would Menno Simons say about this today? This is what he did say, and he would certainly be spinning in his grave.

"I voluntarily renounced all my worldly honor and reputation, my unchristian conduct, masses, infant baptism, and my unprofitable life, and at once willingly submitted to distress and poverty, and the cross of Christ." (Menno Simons).

This (WCMS) terribly apostate school’s educational staff includes emerging/ ecumenical/ contemplative mystical apostates such as Marlene Kropf and Arden Thiessen. You know how far of the deep end they've fallen when they offer an actual course titled “Karl Barth and Rowan Williams” (that both are extreme heretics and apostates would be an understatement, considering their utter rejection and denial of much of God’s Word) which new age and pro-Catholicism course teaches the “otherness or absence of God, the nature of theological discourse, creation, election, reconciliation, and the political task of the church,” and “Apostles Creed to Vatican II.” Absolutely and unequivocally heretical. By partnering with WCMS and CMU, EMC is in agreement with Roman Catholicism, ecumenism, monasticism, and the emerging church with its slough of heresies including contemplative mysticism. This also means they are in support of CMU’s Refreshing Winds conference with the utter apostate Brian McLaren which is still being highlighted on their website. Are partnerships and mergers or money more important than being faithful and true to the gospel of Jesus Christ? I don't then have ever considered what God has to say about their ungodly and unBiblical relationships and endeavours. The Bible is a closed Book to them, which is why they cater to people that cannot teach them anything out of the closet Book.

EMC and Steinbach Bible College (SBC), Canadian Mennonite University (CMU). SBC is the EMC affiliated school. EMC fully “supports Steinbach Bible College” and is the “Graduate School of Theology and Ministry . . . which is operated by Canadian Mennonite University in Winnipeg” and “Providence Theological Seminary,” all of which are heretical colleges at best, but more than likely completely apostate (CMU definitely), loaded with practically every gross error known and held to among neo-evangelicals, such as ones previously mentioned (i.e., emerging church heresies, contemplative mysticism, new age, extreme worldliness with love for ungodly rock and roll, etc). These Colleges hold to and teach so much false doctrine and practice, it would take a substantial sized encyclopedia-length book to document it all. SBC embraces its share of heretical and apostate authors and teachers in their programs including Rob Bell, Sue Monk Kidd, Brian McLaren, Thomas Merton, Henri Nouwen, Morton Kelsey, Gary Thomas, Carl Jung, etc. CMU is supportive of homosexuality, and is completely given over to contemplative mysticism, new age stillness, Roman Catholicism, environmentalism, the social “gospel” and is filled with almost every heresy imaginable. I can't over emphasize that. Their bookstore contains a buffet of pagan and ungodly spirituality material, from earth worship and "indigenous" peoples resources to contemplative spiritual formation curriculum and resources by emergent church leaders and apostates such as Brian McLaren (who has unbelievably been a conference speaker) and Franciscan Priest Richard Rohr. CMU offers their students Spiritual Direction and various syllabuses and retreats based on contemplative Spiritual Formation. These are taught by Gerry Ediger (fan of the terribly apostate Richard Foster) and Irma Fast Dueck (participant in unBiblical, ungodly and evil Muslim-Christian dialogue —sponsored by Mennonite Church Canada, and Mennonite-Catholic dialogue groups). CMU has also promoted ‘Desert Fathers’ and ‘Desert Mothers’ on Oct 19-20, 2010 put on by Dr. Belden Lane of Saint Louis University.

This is only a mere superficial scratch of the absolute heresy, damnable heresy, evil and unfruitful works of darkness that lives at CMU and SBC. I do not believe there has ever been even one person that has attended these apostate institutions that had even the closest resemblance of Biblical Christianity. Not even one. The gates of hell are slammed wide open because of ungodly and heretical organizations such as this.

The writings and church of Dr. Abram Bergen who is Assistant Professor of Practical Theology at CMU reveal the depth of demonic contemplative spirituality at CMU:

Ancient prayer practices need to become an essential aspect of ministry to youth in Mennonite congregations.(“Youth Encountering God”).

He of course is referring to contemplative prayer. The following entries of prayer were written by different junior and senior high youth of Bergen’s home congregation in Winnipeg, while in a “lock-in” experience during Nov 2001:

It is so hard to make you the centre right now and I wish that wasn’t true. Through this labyrinth, I relearned what a supporter, friend, guide and Creator you are. Forgive me for putting you on the backburner while my problems, my stresses, my social life went before. You are such an important part of my life and I am so lucky to have the opportunity to get to know you because of my church, family and friends. Please help me to turn to you when I’m hurt, upset, stressed and happy as well. Please help me to remember this labyrinth and what it’s taught me. Please let this inspire me to turn to you more.”

Bergen further writes with regards to the above entries,

The resource we used was The Prayer Path: A Christ-Centered Labyrinth Experience. The labyrinth is an ancient prayer practice designed to bring persons into a personal encounter with God. It is a journey of prayer with three main parts to it: (1) the inward journey—letting go of the barriers and busyness that stand between us and God; (2) the middle of the labyrinth—meeting God, centering on God, reflecting on God’s truth and love, contemplating in quietness, and (3) the outward journey—taking the message received from God and integrating it into daily life.” (http://www.directionjournal.org/article/?1238).

The labyrinth appears popular with unBiblical and apostate Mennonite groups. The labyrinth however is pagan, ungodly, unbiblical and even demonic new age spirituality. Its been used for centuries by pagan religions during the times of the Old Testament and thereafter “Christianized” by the RCC in its desperate search for spirituality apart from the Bible. The labyrinth is a circle with a twisting path that winds its way to the center, appearing almost like a maze, and used for prayer and meditation. Its defined as a “tool for personal, psychological and spiritual transformation” by the International Labyrinth Society. Eastern Mennonite University (EMU) in Harrisburg, Virginia, an extremely unbiblical, ungodly, woke and evil institution, is directly tied to CMU, and EMC (professors from there have taught in EMC churches and are closely tied to the EMC). On Oct 13, 2007, EMU dedicated its new labyrinth. It was the fulfillment of a dream by Wendy Miller, professor of spiritual formation, which is contemplative spirituality (“Following the Path of Prayer,” Mennonite Weekly Review, Oct 24, 2007). The June 1, 2004, issue of The Mennonite publication featured an article on labyrinths. The labyrinth is contemplative spirituality, and utter apostasy!

These contemporary unregenerate and heretical Mennonites of post-modernism must have missed the memo:

“Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen...” (Jer 10:2)
“And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you” (2 Cor 6:15-17).

Its not only apostate "Christianity" that CMU/SBC warmly embraces and propagates, but something even much worse, and that is Islam. Yes, you read that right. It almost seems unbelievable, yet its true. In 2018, the Canadian Mennonite University (CMU) was set to host their seventh Shi'a Moslem-Mennonite dialogue, which occurred over a span of 16 years! These were held in both Canada and Iran.

Of the eight sponsors of this ungodly and wicked dialogue, two other Mennonite groups were involved: Eastern Mennonite University (EMU and Mennonite Central Committee (MCC), neither of which is surprising, especially the latter, seeing they were the instigators of the whole unBiblical charade. In addition to "scholars" from CMU and IKERI (Islamic "scholars" from Iran), the dialogue included participants from Conrad Grebel University College (Waterloo, ON); Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary (Elkhart, IN); Eastern Mennonite University (Harrisonburg, VA); the University of Texas at Austin (Austin, TX); and Mennonite Central Committee, among others.

How did this unBiblical travesty and mockery of God's Word come about?

"In June 1990 there was a massive earthquake in Manjil–Rudbar, Iran with a reported death toll of 40–50,000. A four-person MCC delegation visited the site and a material aid and reconstruction response ensued in cooperation with the Iranian Red Crescent Society and The Housing Foundation. It soon became clear that both sides were interested in relating at another level, one where differences and similarities of faith and culture could be discussed." (source).

In response to that devastating earthquake, MCC was specifically informed that they were not allowed entrance into Iran or to help the Iranian people unless they removed all references to Jesus Christ and Christianity from their material. To the MCC, that wasn't too much to ask for. Without hesitation, they removed every reference to Christianity so that they could spread their philanthropic good deeds, completely separating themselves from any false pretence they might've had to Christianity. The rest is history. This would result in student exchanges, many Iranians coming to Canada, who are blatant enemies of not only of God and Christianity, but also of Canada and Canadians, seven "dialogues" between these great "scholars," and even meetings with the evil and diabolical Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, whom they sought to praise. One can only imagine how many of these were spies, but we know all are terrorists, either directly (via jihad) or indirectly (through sponsoring and praying for and encouraging Moslem terrorists and the global caliphate). Iranian Moslems (and Moslems everywhere) absolutely hate Western Nations, Israel, Christianity, and the Jews. In these meetings, they discuss "differences and similarities of faith and culture" when in reality no greater difference could exist in the world as between true Christianity and Islam, as we contrast here. But the Mennonites, like their counterparts, wouldn't know that, because their eyes are blinded, ears are closed, and heart is uncircumcised (Matt 13:15; Mk 4:12; Ac 7:51; cf. Col 2:10-15).

Dr. Harry Huebner, Director of International and Inter-Faith Theological Initiatives at CMU claims "that our western nations have defined [Iran] as enemy, and we simply don't accept that," (source). While they are dialoguing with a people that absolutely hate and despise Christians, whom historically have killed tens of millions of professing Christians, the Moslem Mullahs of Iran, and the millions behind them, are screaming through theTV, radio and paper, "Death to America, the Great Satan, Death to Israel, the Great Satan!" But CMU doesn’t “accept that” they are enemies 🤪. Go figure.

The pathetic, awful and gross ignorance, the complete absence of any discernment and Biblical judgment, is so appalling and nauseating, few words can adequately describe it. Its an ungodly shame and disgrace, not only to Christianity but likewise to Mennonites. This evil compromise and spiritual degeneracy in the name of "foster[ing] dialogue and improv[ing] understanding" (ibid) is a much greater tragedy than the earthquake that killed tens of thousands of people. Wicked compromised false teachers are more dangerous than even genocidal killers on a scale of bad.

The certain fact that these Mennonite so-called "Christians" are dangerous false teachers and wolves in sheep's clothing was further established when Huebner claimed, in the aforementioned linked article:

"Is it possible for us [Mennonites and Moslems] to understand that we worship one God? And, if we worship one God, what can we learn from each other?"

No greater contrast could exist anywhere on this planet than that of Christianity and Islam, which could only be likened to contrasting the true living God of the Bible with Satan, or Heaven and Hell. The God of Christianity, which is the true Triune living God of heaven, earth and all of mankind, is NOT the same god as the evil, Satanic god of Islam. In the following report we give much detail in Contrasting Islams god (Allah) with the God of the Bible (Jehovah) and the god of this World (Satan), and also in this report, If Islam is a Religion of Peace, then Satan is a Peacemaker. Everyone should read both of these important 20/20 investigative reports and get very familiar with Islam, and the evil danger every Moslem presents to Westerners, Christians and Jewish people.

CMU is clearly loaded with apostates and I hardly doubt if there'd be even one truly regenerated born again believer anywhere on its campus. Biblically, there wouldn't and couldn't be. Really how could there be, and then attend such a heretical and unBiblical institution? God the Spirit does NOT lead those that He indwells in complete contradiction to His Word. Thats not how He works. "Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils." (1 Cor 10:21). God's Word commands no "fellowship with devils." (1 Cor 10:20). And there is certainly no doubt that EMC seriously lacks any spiritual discernment or the ability and desire to protect their people from these other apostate Mennonite groups, which includes Roman Catholic spiritual formation and mysticism and the heretical teachings of neo-evangelicalism and emergent church. What a horrible mess and ungodly shame! Where’s the protection of the supposed sheep, by the alleged shepherds? Its absent, to be found nowhere. But they do reflect a certain kind of watch dog that the Bible exposes in Is 56:10-11, which was true of Israel's leaders in the days of Isaiah and chronically:

"His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber. Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter."

EMC and Pagan, UnBiblical and Neo-Evangelical Conferences. EMC associates with and attends many, many unbiblical conferences and events, and essentially nothing is outside of their attendance. EMC LCCF church attends such events as the pagan and humanistic misnamed, money grub, Truth and Reconciliation Commission in Edmonton, Canada, and other ungodly emerging church events such as YC Edmonton, Abundant Springs, Breakforth, Warrior Leadership Summit, etc. Besides the ungodly things being taught, heresy promoted, massive amounts of false doctrine and error purveyed, nauseating and frightful perversion of Scripture exercised, “Christian” contemporary and rock bands are of course a huge draw for EMC youth. There is nothing biblical about these events with its zero indifference to the world and indulgence of the flesh, places where no true Christian would ever attend.

EMC may come with the title “Christian” but in reality align with heresy and the world. Those that follow the ways of this world, and live/walk in the flesh, and do not separate themselves, are not of God. The Bible is very clear about that (e.g. 2 Cor 6:14-18; Gal. 6:7-8; Rom. 8:1-14; 1 Jn. 2:15-17; Jam. 4:4).

Am. 3:3 asks:

“Can two walk together, except they be agreed?”

In all this, along with what follows next point, we see EMC's repudiation of separation, a doctrine intricately connected to salvation (2 Cor 6:14-18). Those that follow the ways of this world, and live/walk in the flesh, and do not separate themselves from these things or from false teachers and heretics and apostates, are not of God (1 Jn 4:1; 5:4-5; 1 Tim 4:1-6; etc). Gal. 6:7-8 speaks to this:

“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.”

EMC is making a mockery of God in their loves, and affections and associations and fellowships. But God is not mocked by their false worship, false fellowship, and false “love,” as they sow to the flesh and to their feelings, which end result is destruction and perishing (which is what the Greek “fthorah” means, translated “corruption”) in unquenchable hell fire (Lk. 3:3-17). Its not loving to God to not separate from heretics and apostates, from evil things of this world. These things are hideous in the sight of God, a terrible and wicked disgrace, but very revealing as to their true underlying nature and heart condition. People do what they do because of who they are—their position in or outside of Christ—they do not become someone by what they do. “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he” (Pr. 23:7a). The “law” and “testimony" of EMC "speak not according to this word,” -- i.e., the Word of God -- and that “is because there is no light in them.” (Is. 8:20).

EMC's association with error, false teachers and evil that carries the name "Christian," through recommendations, citations and embracement of terribly compromised individuals, false teachers and apostates and their programs.

EMC and False Teachers in the Conference. EMC does not have far to stroll before they encounter heretics and apostates of their own. The EMC conference has it share of heretics of the faith such as Terry M. Smith (a non-mennonite, Catholic Pentecostal, and former editor of The Messenger and Theodidaktos), David Thiessen, Arden Thiessen, David W. Shenk, the late Ron Sider (extremely ecumenical and heretical life time liberal leftist, social gospel promoter and activist, and extreme heretic, an apostate for many, many reasons, not excluding having Tony Campolo and other heretics on the Board of ESA and authoring the heretical social-justice false gospel The Eight Letter along with extreme leftist and liberal ungodly apostates Shane Claiborne and Leonard Sweet), and many more. The so-called “Evangelical Anabaptist scholars” that have spoken at “EMC annual conventions” include “Ron Sider (2006), Arley Loewen (2007), Pierre Gilbert (2009), and David Shenk (2010)” (David Thiessen, What’s in a Name? p. 21) and have also written many articles in The Messenger, but they are apostate heretics. I believe majority of the EMC pastors would likewise fit in this category, clearly evident by the heresy they preach and hold to, and the false teachers they glue to, and the lasciviousness and worldliness the tolerate and promote. The false and carnal "worship" alone proves the point.

There is so much heresy and apostasy that comes from the pen of Terry M. Smith, and exaltation of apostates, it would take an encyclopedic length book to expose it all. Its really almost unbelievable how bad it is. As former editor of The Messenger, for decades, we find it monthly laden with compromise, heresy, Scripture wresting and mutilation, and just plain apostasy and wickedness. That’s the plain truth and easily proven with hundred of examples. He is a trained Pentecostal (Central Pentecostal College, now Horizon College and Seminary, in Saskatoon) and absolutely loves this apostate movement. Who would glory in his Pentecostal background but a wolf in sheep’s clothing? In one article he writes, “Did you know that the Pentecostal World Fellowship has a membership of 600 million? May it double in size!” (The Messenger, June 2015, p. 2). Wow, its wicked to advocate for heresy and apostasy. But that is nothing new to this absolute heretic. In the same article he claims, “Mennonite World Conference has less than two million—much more than doubling is needed.” MWC, as we have covered briefly, is more than excessively apostate. They are the prototype of wicked apostasy, slamming wide open the gates of hell. The heresy of Smith just keeps rolling in this article: “All Christians are charismatics even if we do not view the doctrine of “initial physical evidence” or the “baptism of the Spirit” in the same way. Since all of the spiritual gifts at Corinth are available till our Lord returns (1 Cor. 1:7), how well do our EMC churches use these gifts? That’s a question not only for Corinth. – Terry M. Smith.” Wow. No, what a wicked lie to proclaim “All Christians are charismatics.” Nothing could be further from the truth. First of all, Charismaticism is unscriptural and heretical to the absolute core, and for someone to make such an outlandish statement really shows how far gone EMC is from the truth. Obviously the denomination itself must agree with this rubbish, or they wouldn’t print it. Secondly, it is a bald-faced lie that all Christians ”spiritual gifts at Corinth are available till our Lord returns.“ Many of the gifts were sign gifts indicating an apostle (2 Cor. 12:12), and they died away with the last apostles death. Contrary to Smith’s lies, Pentecostalism does not continue on from Acts chapter 2. Pentecostalism/Continuationism and charismaticism/healing, is Satanic heresy, and alone reflects the absolute fact that Smith and the rest of EMC teachers and preachers are a cesspool of false teachers and wolves in sheep’s clothing. Thirdly, “The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada” whom he exalts, is an unBiblical and ungodly and apostate organization, who wouldn’t know Biblical truth if ran them right over like a freight train. Fourthly, Smith's heresy and utter spiritual blindness is further noted in his question concerning the gifts that the Holy Spirit gives true born again blood-bought believer's in Rom 8: "Do any of these gifts of the Spirit interest you?” Interest you?! All the things mentioned in Rom 8 are given to those that are saved and they are given at the very moment of conversion. Again, once again reflects the despicable unregeneracy of these false professing “Christians.” This wolf is the editor of the newsletter for EMC, read by and influencing how many? This sheds a lot of light on the desperate depravity and heresy of EMC. Fifthly, in the article he thinks numbers constitutes greatness. That ungodly and heretical philosophy is on par with all the rest of EMC. Its the bigness and greatness syndrome, with its mega churches and seeker sensitively satanic philosophies, running rank throughout “evangelicalism,” fed and furthered by popular wolves in sheep’s clothing such as Rick Warren, Bill Hybels, Joel Osteen, Robert Schuller, Mark Driscoll, Hellsong, and more. Counting numbers is wicked (Matt 7:13-14; 2 Sam. 24) and accursed of God, inviting His wrath.

Smith, like the rest of EMC, is warned of by Jesus in Matt 7:15,

"Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves."

Smith also habitually exalts Romans Catholicism and treats them equal with EMC churches. He certainly doesn’t criticize them, but treats them as “brothers.” Another W😳W moment, in the EMC mega-library of W😳W! The wolves are howling over in EMC land. "In some communities there is perhaps an Anglican or a Roman Catholic presence, but these major denominations are, too, short of workers and services can be sporadic." (The Messenger, June 2015, p. 17). What?! What a horrible disgrace and treachery to God and His Word, not only in speaking positively of utterly apostate organizations but also in recommending them! Smith claims, “In the Middle Ages, how was the Christian faith taught? It came by worship services (the Mass), priestly instruction and catechism, sacraments, creeds, icons and statues, architecture (spires), bells, pilgrimages, morality plays, and much more. If in retrospect we have concerns about some of the teaching content, the Apostles’ Creed still mattered then and the Holy Spirit remained on duty." (The Messenger, “The paradoxes of teaching,” p. 25). This is a very different message than the Word of God, even that of Menno Simons, who came out of the “the great whore and . . . mother of harlots and abominations of the earth” (Rev. 17:1, 5; 18:4) and was hunted by her for the remainder of his life because of his fiery preaching against her evil and wicked teachings and practices. Terry Smith, and everyone else at EMC, needs to read the following and see what Menno Simons thought of RCC wickedness: http://www.mennosimons.net/ft023-papisticbelief.html.

So the wicked whore that has always taught a heretical and false gospel and truck loads of false teachings and perversion of Scripture and blasphemy right out of the staltingblocks in the 4th century, who worships a women, calls a man “Father,” claims Jesus’ physical blood and flesh is found in a wafer, murdered millions of professing Christians that believed in the truth of God’s Word, with its “Mass), priestly instruction and catechism, sacraments, creeds, icons and statues, architecture (spires), bells, pilgrimages, morality plays, and much more” all of which were idolatrous, unscriptural and heretical — is apparently the vessel of truth according to Smith. Yikes, the awful delusion, inability to understand truth, and perversion of history and Scripture by Smith, is repugnant, yet so very normal in the neo-evangelical world. “THE HOLY SPIRIT REMAINED ON DUTY”? What is that?! A massive slight on God the Spirit and blasphemy. The Holy Spirit of God convicts the world of sin, judgment and righteousness (Jn. 16:7-11) but only indwells true believers (Eph. 1:13-14; 4:30; 1 Cor. 6:19) and He does not teach evil, and heresy and apostasy, what we see in Roman Catholicism! These are horrible and wicked lies, which means Smith and EMC are an abomination to God (and more many, many more reasons than just this). The RCC was ALWAYS a false church and never held to the truth for even a moment. The “mass” and “sacraments” is blasphemous and purely of the devil. The true steam of churches that Christ said hell would not prevail against, has always existed throughout all the centuries, including the Middle Ages. For most of those years they have been known as Anabaptist/Baptists, and it is this true church that Menno Simons affiliated with, after his new birth and departure from Rome.

These statements by Smith, a small sample from a truckload, is all the proof required to know that the man is entirely lost and surely has not the first mark of a true convert. He is the false teacher warned of in 2 Pet. 2:1-3, 17-22. Clearly. But yet he was the chief editor of The Messenger for decades, the publication for EMC, and thus reflects the beliefs of EMC. Very tell-tale. A man as lost as they come, an unregenerate protestant Catholic-lover and possibly even homosexual, writes for EMC, in spite of being a completely lost heretic, one clearly under the condemnation of Matt. 7:15-20 and 21-23. The fact that he remained editor for EMC in spite of such heresies and for so many years, speaks loud and clear as to the dead spiritual condition of the EMC denomination and leadership.

Practically anything or anyone that comes with the label "Christian," is accepted as truth. They have zero discernment and thus no issue welcoming people from other false Christian circles into their midst, even into the pastoral office. Filling pulpits and pews is more important than actual genuine and authentic Biblical Christianity. Take for example one of the EMC churches taking on a pastor from the Wesleyan Church, which is a Methodist denomination worldwide, and aligned with the Wesleyan-Holiness movement, with has roots in the teachings of John Wesley, who was a false teacher for many reasons detailed here. The Wesleyan Church adheres to Wesleyan-Arminian doctrine and is a member of the World Methodist Council, which then means they believe in a false gospel, wicked ecumenicalism and literally truck loads of other false doctrines and practices, a denomination loaded to the brim with false teachers. And where whence does there authority derive? The Methodists denominational church lineage is not traced to a true church but to a heretical and apostate state church. They functioned in and from the state church, taking on many of the characteristics of the apostate denomination from whence they came. In other words, they are a deeply heretical and apostate group, and I have never met or heard of a converted or saved Methodist, including that pastor and his wife. They were quintessential heretics, worldling's, and apostates, neo-evangelical in character and Methodist in belief. They, like all Methodists I've engaged, were some of the most liberal, unsaved people I have ever met. But there they were, preaching for an EMC church for years, which is a Mennonite church, hypothetically tracing back to Menno Simons (though about as far different as they could get). U.n.b.e.l.i.e.v.a.b.l.e. And nothings changed. That was 15+ years ago. In 2023, that same church invited them to share a virtual message for their 50th anniversary, so obviously no change of feelings towards doctrinal and practical heresy or unregenerate men playing churcholatry.

EMC heavily promotes the heretical Keswick/higher life/deeper life theology in their sermons, conferences, writings, books promoted, and more, a heretical theological movement that teaches and propagates a false gospel/salvation and false sanctification, which movement was founded and propagated by the awfully heretical and blasphemous Hannah Whitall Smith and her husband, amongst others. The heretics Charles Finney and John Wesley made Keswick theology famous before it was ever known by that name. EMC regularly hosts “Deeper Life” conferences, as EMC LCCF Church did on March 14-17, 2010, with Pastor Ernest Funk with a typical deconstructing theme of Relevancy of the Church. Astonishingly, “one of the many encouragements and challenges that Pastor Funk had to make in [a professing Christian church] was to not move the ancient landmark that is Jesus Christ in order to become relevant” (The Messenger, Aug 2010). Why would someone even need to preach this?! Are they not Christians he is speaking to?! Is the threat and temptation of removing or moving Jesus in a so-called "Christian" church, where He isn't relevant anymore, that high in this denomination? Unbelievable! The topic obviously had a purpose and certainly wasn't random. Are they that far off the beaten wayward path, so that any seed that has been planted has been devoured by Satan, or overgrown by thorns or placed on stony soil, while they dance and groove to the Antichrists end-time apostasy soundtrack,

EMC and False Teachers Loved, Recommended, Promoted. The egregious and false teachers that are embraced, learned from, exalted, and promoted are many, very many. Practically endless. One notes the endorsement and sales of a mass of books/DVDs etc, by heretical, ungodly, and severely apostate Christ rejecting authors and even Catholics (e.g. Rob Bell, Henri Nouwen, John Stott, Rick Warren, YWAM, Karl Barth, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Thomas Merton, Dallas Willard, Larry Crabb, Brennan Manning, and Richard Foster, etc).

EMC uses, reads, recommends, quotes, embraces and sells or rents out the materials of massive amounts of horribly compromised and very dangerous individuals, false teachers and apostates, even utilizing some of these same individuals and their "ministries" for educational and program purposes in their church. Here are some of the major ones: Karl Barth (wow!), C.S. Lewis, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Thomas Merton, Henry Nouwen, Ken Blanchard, Jim Wallis, N.T. Wright, Billy Graham, Rick Warren, Doug Fields, Bill Hybels, Andy Stanley, Charles Stanley, Brian McLaren, Leonard Sweet, Scot McKnight, Shane Claiborne, Rob Bell, John Piper, James Dobson, Max Lucado, Beth Moore, Lee Stroubel, John Eldredge, Ravi Zacharias, Campus Crusade for Christ (Bill Bright), Philip Yancey, Kay Arthur, Ron Blue, Larry Burkett, Alpha Course, Tim and Beverly LaHaye, Paul Meier, Frank Peretti, Dennis Rainey, R.C. Sproul, Gary Smalley, Dave Ramsey, Richard Foster, Chuck Colson, Chuck Swindol, Mark Driscoll, Dan Kimball, Christine Longhurst, etc.

Some of these are Roman Catholics, Mystics, Emerging Churchers, but all are neo-evangelical, extremely heretical and false teachers. Most of the above are in fact, if not all, wolves in sheep’s clothing, and no stranger to the average EMC member. Jesus said beware of these wolves (Matt 7:15), but EMC loves them, recommends them and promotes them. Hence the charge of unregeneracy, since truly saved people do not follow wolves or the voices of strangers, but their Shepherd (Jn 10:1-5).

These are “strangers” and “robbers” (Jn. 10:1-5), “enemies of the cross of Christ” (Phil. 3:18) who are not “followers together of [the apostle’s]” and walk not after the examples and teachings of the apostles (Phil. 3:17). Some of these are great blasphemers and demonic apostates worse than the worse spiritual garbage imaginable such as Karl Barth and Dietrich Bonehoeffer and the Catholics Merton and Nouwen, and need to be rejected and repudiated. All are two-faced liars and false witnesses, and God’s Word warns that “A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall not escape.” (Pr. 19:5).

By embracing false teachers and apostates, EMC is giving heed to false lips, but Pr. 17:4 tells us,

“A wicked doer giveth heed to false lips; and a liar giveth ear to a naughty tongue.”

Mennonite Publishing Network is (or has been) a popular purchasing company for EMC, which sells the books of all these heretics and apostates, and many more, such as Mennonite pastor Arthur Boer, a thorough contemplative mystic, ungodly heretic and apostate. In an article entitled “Learning the Ancient Rhythms of Prayer,” Boers describes a trip to Taize (Christianity Today, Jan 8, 2001) and recommends the ritualistic “set prayers and readings” that are practiced in ecclesiastical communities such as Taize, though he admits that these practices are remnants of medieval Catholicism. He describes the movement toward ritualised, prescribed prayers among evangelicals.

Even my own Mennonite tradition is republishing old prayer books . . . About two decades ago, on a whim, I bought a discontinued book by a famous Catholic priest. . . . As it turned out, this book became the starting point in my recovery of a fuller prayer life through the daily office” (p. 40).

Christine Longhurst is recommended as a “Helpful Link” by EMC Christian Education, but she is a deeply apostate and ungodly contemplative mystic and heretic who manages her own blogspot. On her blog Jan 12, 2012 is a “version” of Matt 5 Lords Prayer written by the Seekers Church (ironic but fitting name for an emergent apostate church). The prayer starts with “Eternal Spirit, Father and Mother of us all,” and ends with “For you alone are creating our universe, now and forever.” Yikes. I thought the universe was created already. NEVER is God referred to as a “Eternal Spirit” although He is Eternal and the Holy Spirit, God is NEVER referred to as a “Mother” and God finished creating the universe nearly 6,000 years ago (See Gen. 1). This heretical and ungodly “prayer” is spiritual reprobatism (Rom 1; 2 Tim 3:8-9) and demonic, representing “another Jesus . . . gospel . . . spirit” (2 Cor. 11:2) and another representation of the end-times apostasy rampant in the EMC “churches.”

EMC and Karl Barth. EMC loves Karl Barth. And that is an absolute W😳W moment, a point that condemns EMC alone for their apostasy. We would need no other evidence than this. In the April 2011 edition of The Messenger we find an article entitled, “Jesus, Easter, and Karl Barth,” edited by Michael Welton (pp. 8-9). Welton writes, “Karl Barth (1886-1968), a Swiss theologian in the Reformed tradition, is considered to be among the greatest of theologians in Christian history.” What a horrible and wicked lie. He might be the greatest in something, but that would be apostasy. Barth was a Christ-denying modernist and one of the fathers of neo-orthodoxy. He denied the NT faith. He rejected the virgin birth of Jesus Christ. He rejected the Bible as the infallible Word of God. Barth was also a wicked adulterer who kept a mistress in his house in the very presence of his wife, Nelly (Eberhard Busch, Karl Barth: His Life from Letters and Autobiographical Texts, translated by John Bowden, pp. 158, 164, 185-86). Many evangelicals came to know of Barth through another ungodly heretic and apostate — Billy Graham, who has been exalted, praised and practically worshipped by every "evangelical." In his biography, Graham praises Karl Barth as a “great theologian” and states: “In spite of our theological differences, we remained good friends” (Graham, Just As I Am, p. 694). Thats pretty sad but very revealing of Grahams own rejection of God’s Word and apostasy, one of many reasons I would add (see 1 Tim. 6:3-5; 2 Jn. 1:9-11; Rom. 16:17-18; Gal. 2:4-5). Graham does not warn his readers that Barth is an apostate false teacher and instead leads his followers to the doorstep of Barth, without any warning. No wonder groups such as EMC eagerly lap up the teachings of heretic Barth and are complicit in helping the spread of Barth’s “damnable heresies.”

Another connection between EMC and Barth is found in John Harvey Yoder, a Mennonite man infamous for his serial sexual abuses (although never legally charged), who studied under and then wrote a book on Karl Barth in 1964, The Christian Pacifism of Karl Barth. Yoder has been heavily and lengthily involved in MCC and esteemed by EMC. Here we see yet another unscriptural connection between Mennonites and Barth: unscriptural pacifism.

EMC and The Shack. Even that wicked and exceedingly blasphemous book The Shack is not only read but thoroughly enjoyed by EMCers. Though its author, William Paul Young, is reticent to call himself a Christian and does not attend church, and though the books doctrine of God is grossly heretical, blasphemous and wicked, the novel with its casual conversational tone is being touted as a helpful Christian book. Young’s god is the god of the emerging church and new age. He is cool, loves rock & roll, is non-judgmental, anti-authority, seeker-friendly experience over truth, does not exercise wrath toward sin, does not send unbelievers to an eternal fiery hell, does not require repentance and the new birth, puts no obligations on people and “loves” all regardless of their sin and evil and God’s wrath upon them. The book is terribly condescending and blasphemous towards the true and living God, and presents theology nowhere to be found in God’s Word. Young says the book is for those with “a longing that God is as kind and loving as we wish he was” (interview with Sherman Hu, Dec. 4, 2007). Wow, what blasphemy! That sums it up well. The god of The Shack is the figment of wicked imaginations. It was a popular book at EMC with many members that read this down-right ungodly and wicked book and recommend it, who seem to think that it’s a great book and there’s not enough wrong in it to set it aside and burn it. This leaves one with no alternative to think the Biblical obvious that such are spiritually dead, void of life and God’s Spirit. God’s Word is truth, and God’s Words sheds light on the spiritual condition of people like this, who clearly do not know or understand or love the truth.

EMC and C.S Lewis. The master heretic and apostate C.S. Lewis is loved by EMCers, who rejected massive amounts of orthodox Biblical doctrine and said, as we detail in this report: The Apostasy of C.S. Lewis. “It is Christ Himself, not the Bible, who is the true word of God. The Bible, read in the right spirit and with the guidance of good teachers, will bring us to Him.” (Letters of C. S. Lewis, p. 428). This is heresy but only one small aspect of his Mt. Everest amount of absolutely heresy and apostasy. I wonder if this is what EMC also believes, since they claim that “Scripture [is] VIEWED through Christ.” (EA Bookmark—capitals original).

EMC and Henry Nouwen. Rebecca Roman, in the article “Waiting for the Promise” uncritically quotes the apostate Henri Nouwen in The Messenger (Dec 2010), a Roman Catholic priest and a contemplative mystic, universalist, and pantheist who clearly rejected the true Gospel of Jesus Christ and much of God’s Word and was very likely a sodomite. Nouwen is very frequently mentioned or quoted by EMCer's. Many other apostates and wolves in sheep’s clothing are quoted in The Messenger and Theodidaktos, both publications of EMC (the latter being their scholarly version) such as those mentioned under no. 5.

EMC and Heretical Programs. EMC leadership, pastors, “missionaries,” etc, consistently recommend and quote the writings and teachings of heretics, false teachers and ungodly wolves in sheep’s clothing, all of which are helping usher in the Antichrists one world religion, even using their programs, but the Bible tells us, “It is not good to accept the person of the wicked,“ (Pr. 18:5a) — never mind using their unbiblical and ungodly teachings! Preposterous! One missionary sent out by EMC LCCF had on their “books we are reading” list: Shane Claiborne, Donald Miller and Neil Cole, all three of which are wicked false teachers promoting a false gospel, damnable heresies, demonic teachings, and more. The Word of God alone contains "the words of this life" (Ac. 5:20) not the deceptive unscriptural garbage that EMC has replaced it with. For instance, Rick Warren’s pathetically unscriptural Purpose Driven Life/Church/Youth Ministry programs which they’ve just devoured over the years, the heretical Simply Youth Ministry's "Live" curriculum, new ager and heretic Ken Blanchard’s unBiblical Lead Like Jesus program, psychoheresy counselling programs such as Cantata, unscriptural psychoheresy Love & Respect course and Five Love Languages, the heretical ecumenical, neo-evangelical and false gospel purveyors Awana program, and that ever-apostate ecumenical Promise Keepers conference, Raising Truly Great Kids conferences, Bruce Wilkinson’s books “The Seven Laws of the Learner” and “The Prayer of Jabez,” etc — which are described by the leaders at EMC “as good set of resources.”!

Self-esteemism is only one of the many evils and psychoheresies of James Dobson and Focus on the Family, the producers of this conference, and there are many books written on Dobson’s wicked false teachings (such as http://www.psychoheresy-aware.org/e-books/JDG-webbk.pdf), but that doesn’t stop heretical neo-evangelicals from using his material and promoting it wholeheartedly, like “Raising Truly Great Kids' Conference.”

EMC churches frequently host ‘Raising Truly Great Kids' conferences, such as LCCF (e.g., 2011 and onward), produced by the unscriptural and heretical psychology-driven Focus on the Family (James Dobson) and “Family Matters” and directed by the heretic Tim Kimmel who says on an introductory video on the website “For some kids rebellion is actually part of their spiritual pilgrimage” and in a video interview he states “God doesn't deal with us on a behavioural basis." Heresy! Rebellion is as evil as witchcraft and the status of lost people, irregardless what such profess. A large part of repentance in salvation is a rebel humbling himself before God in submission to Jesus as Lord and fleeing from his rebellion, like the prodigal son (Lk. 15). God does indeed deal with us according to our behaviour, so he is lying, which is an abomination to God and all liars will have their part in the lake of fire (Rev 21:8, 27). The truth of Gd dealing with out behaviour is found everywhere in Scripture so there no need to even quote a passage, but here is a few for the gainsayers, besides the Revelation passages: Gal 5:27-29; 1 Cor 6:9-10; Ps 37; Pr 1:8-32; in fact the entire book of Proverbs, and most ofd Psalms; etc, etc, etc ). Its a ridiculous statement in light of the truth. In their description of the conference on their website, we read one of its objectives is “Preparing your child’s heart to receive God’s plan.” What is that?? Plan of what? Heretical mumble-jumble and hocus-pocus. They have no clue what they are even talking about. Their “plan” is polar opposites of “God’s plan.” They want to teach you “How to lead your child to be a great adult.” Wow, how nice. Isn’t that what the world for the most part is trying to do? Isn’t that what our godless schools and prison systems are attempting to do? What about a true born again Christian for the glory of God?!? Such statements are unsurprisingly absent and extremely rare in the world of ungodly neo-evangelicalism and its self-love. And why is there a need to “Give your child tools to practically deal with their culture” when we have God’s Word?? Right, the Bible has no actual value to these evangelicals, and most others. Its a mere mantle piece for the china cabinet in their pompous fare. The program speaks of dealing with a “strong-willed child” but the wording itself tells us that God’s ordained means of dealing with children, the “rod and reproof” (Pr. 13:24; 22:15; 23:13-14; 29:15), is out of the picture, and has never been entrained to begin with. Of course it would be, its Dobson the Psychoheretic behind the program after all. Speaking of psychoheresy, the program is loaded with unBiblical and ungodly psychology and humanistic heresy, with barely a hint of Bible here and there just to keep it “Christian” and deceive the hearts of the simple. Preposterous!

Instead of contending for the faith (Ju 1:3) and reproving wicked false teachers (Ti 1:9-12; 2 Tim 3:16), exposing them and warning their congregations about them (Rom 16:17-18; Eph 5:11; 2 Tim 3:8-9) as God's Word so clearly commands and demands, repeatedly, they yoke together, fellowship together and invite them into their midst. Here is one example:

All of these individuals are heretics and apostates, some only worse than others. Men like Claiborne are way out in far left field somewhere, in coo-coo land.

EMC and Ken Blanchard's Lead Like Jesus. The contemplative new age apostate Ken Blanchard’s Lead like Jesus program is highly esteemed and recommended by EMC leaders and laity, even taught to the leadership there, but Blanchard is a wicked and ungodly wolf, of the most evil kind described in 2 Pet. 2:1-3, 17-22, plainly evident by hundreds of new evangelical, emerging and contemplative heresies including the following statement he made (one example among many that could be given):

Buddha points to the path and invites us to begin our journey to enlightenment. I . . . invite you to begin your journey to enlightened work” (“What Would Buddha Do at Work”).

Blanchard is a New Ager and Buddhist sympathizer (as noted) and plays a large part in the contemplative movement which gets its methods and principles from Roman Catholic monasticism, and encourages borrowing from pagan religions (Buddhism, Islam, etc). Even in this book there are clear contemplative mystic elements. For instance, in the chapter titled "The Habits of a Servant Leader" a palms-up, palms-down exercise is described (something new ager Richard Foster has also encouraged) (p. 158). The book gives a typical instruction on contemplative:

Before we send people off for their period of solitude, we have them recite with us Psalm 46:10 in this way: Be still and know that I am God. Be still and know. Be still. Be. . . . When people return from their time of solitude, they have big smiles on their faces. While many of them found it difficult to quiet their mind, they say it was a powerful experience. The reality is most of us spend little if any time in solitude. Yet if we don't, how can God have a chance to talk with us?”

Its through AWANA (which is also used at EMC) that many have been introduced to Blanchard, who use his material in their programs, which isn’t surprising since the organization is extremely ecumenical, new evangelical and heretical to begin with and teaches a false gospel and exhorts to worldliness, and embraces contemplative spirituality seen in their recommendation and selling of a book in their store that is completely of the demonic contemplative mysticism: Perspectives on Children's Spiritual Formation. The book offers four different views on how to transform children. One author, Scottie May, a professor at Wheaton, writes the section titled, "Contemplative-Reflective Model." May gives a hearty promotion of centering prayer, the Jesus prayer, Christ candles, the Catholic Eucharist and an strong endorsement for contemplative spirituality Thomas Merton, whom he favourably quotes in the book. Two Awana staff writers respond in the book to May's contemplative approach and give it a thumbs up with only minor cautions. But overall they believe that contemplative is a valid approach for all Christians, including children. Perspectives on Children's Spiritual Formation is giving a green light to Awana leaders around the world to practice contemplative prayer.

Back to the seductive and deeply heretical Lead Like Jesus, in 2009 it’s National Board Members included Margie Blanchard who teaches "Be aware of the stressors in your life . . . practice stress management techniques [deep relaxation, meditation and yoga]”), and Barbara Glanz who promotes New Age practices and Mark Victor Hansen who promotes visualisation, Laurie Beth Jones who “has been called upon by billionaires and kings, pastors, students, housewives and prisoners to help discern their spiritual path, and lives out her mission daily, which is to 'recognize, promote, and inspire the divine connection in myself and others” and Bill Hybels of Willow Creek heretical emerging church and Rick Warren who promotes every type of new evangelical and emerging church heresy and breath prayers and contemplatives (e.g.”[U]se 'breath prayers' throughout the day, as many Christians have done for centuries. You choose a brief sentence or a simple phrase that can be repeated to Jesus in one breath" — PDL, p. 89) and John Maxwell and Bob Buford and many other blatant false teachers. This point alone proves the evil and dangerous poison that surges through Blanchard and his program. But EMC is right on board. Unbelievable!

EMC and Rick Warren’s PDL Programs. As mentioned, are fully embraced and taught at LCCF and EMC. Warren has claimed: “The Purpose Driven paradigm is the Intel chip for the 21st-century church and the Windows systems of the 21st-century church.” (Rick Warren, Purpose Driven in Rwanda, Christianity Today, Oct 2005). Maybe for the 21st century end-times apostate church, but certainly not for any true Bible-believing church. The PDL books are loaded with major heresies such as an extremely shallow and perverted gospel, which alone makes the apostate “accursed” (Gal. 1:6-9); promotes the heretical “judge not” philosophy; says God won’t ask about your doctrinal views; teaches a self-esteem theology under the guise of worship and service; mocks and slights over hell, judgment and the fear of God, which again points to his damnable heresies of false gospel; promotes ungodly rock & roll music and the church as a entertainment centre; promotes every kind of “Bible” perversion (15 versions are used in PDL including two Roman Catholic ones [NAB, NJB] and multiple “dynamic equivalency” versions including NLT, TEV, CEV and The Blasphemous Message); undermines scriptural baptism; claims that God loves all kinds of music; continually and approvingly quotes from and promotes heretics and utter apostates in his writings and preaching (e.g. Roman Catholic universalist Mother Teresa, Henri Nouwen, and Thomas Merton; Brother Lawrence the monk; John Main, Madam Guyon, and John of the Cross; mystic new age emerging churchers Leonard Sweet, Ken Blanchard, Brian McLaren, Richard Foster and Dallas Willard; etc); teaches contemplative spirituality (e.g. “With practice, you can develop the habit of praying silent ‘breath prayers'” — PDL, pp. 89 & 299); etc. And we haven't even considered the smorgasbord of other heresies Warren is known for such as Chrislam and rejection of large portions of the Bible in practice and belief, and that he is part of the SBC (until he was cast out in 2023 for heresy concerning female pastors), which is ripe full of apostasy ranging from emerging church heresies, support of sodomy, female pastors, etc. “I’m not talking about a religion this morning. You may be Catholic or Protestant or Buddhist or Baptist or Muslim or Mormon or Jewish - or you may have no religion at all. I'm not interested in your religious background. Because God did not create the universe for us to have religion.” (UN interfaith prayer breakfast, 2005). As we see, Rick Warren is in fact a major mover for the Antichrist in his one world religion program (Rev. 17–18), and that he is a dog and pig is visible to all who have eyes to see, something he has never ceased to be (2 Pet. 2:22). And all who use his material prove real fast they are completely void of true spiritual discernment present in all true born again Spirit-indwelled believers (1 Cor. 2:14-16). Shame on EMC and anyone else who uses, reads, listens to the unscriptural garbage and damnable heresies that spew from Rick Warren’s mouth, pen or church!

EMC and Promise Keepers. The organization Promise Keepers, which at one time was hosted almost annually at EMC churches (ecumenically with other unscriptural and compromised denominations attending and supporting, such as EBMC), is a radically ecumenical, charismatic, extremely heretical and psychologized men's movement, which is a well documented fact. Its roots are Catholic and Charismatic to the core, and its even had Roman Catholics on its board of directors and featured Roman Catholic priests as key speakers at some of its events. It’s a deeply compromised and man-centred heretical movement, for example: “Some of the issues that should not be addressed: Eternal security, the gifts of the Spirit, baptism, Pretribulation or post-tribulation prophecy, sacraments or ordinances” (PK Ambassador booklet). No surprise, Focus on the Family was heavily involved in starting this ungodly and unBiblical movement. Promise Keepers contradictory stance on homosexuality, promotion of secular psychology, unscriptural feminizing of men, depiction of Jesus as a “phallic messiah” who tempted to perform homosexual acts, its ecumenicalism and other unbiblical and heretical teachings would immediately dissuade any true born again Christian from participating, but it doesn't dissuade EMC. They not only approve, they host them! It gets even worse, in April of 2017, LCCF EMC church hosted (or sponsored, or both), PK classes on Spiritual Disciplines, which is deception and a misnomer intended to hide the evil and insidious nature of what "Spiritual Disciplines" really is, which is contemplative mysticism, thoroughly. This was around the time when schools and churches were being compelled to teach this heresy if they intended to maintain their government non-charity status, though I am unsure this is what led to these classes, since EMC is neck deep into contemplative mysticism as it is, as has been proven in previous points. Promise Keepers is proving to be one of the most ungodly and misleading movements in the annals of Christian history, and it speaks volumes that EMC endorses this ungodly organization.

The Promise Keepers movement and its leaders totally reject the many plain commands of Scripture to separate from and warn about false teachers, disobedient brethren and the world (cf. 2 Cor. 6:14-18; 2 Th. 3:6,14-15; 1 Jn. 2:15-17) and to not compromise (Gal. 1:10). These things are necessary to preserve the purity of the Gospel and the purity of the local church (the only church). Instead of obeying the command of God's Word to "preach no other doctrine" (1 Tim. 1:3); and by refusing to heed the warning God gives in Gal. 1:6-10 concerning all who preach "any other gospel," they have become "blind leaders of the blind" about which Jesus Christ warned (Matt. 15:10-14; 7:15-20). Since the inevitable result of such spiritual blindness is that "both shall fall into the ditch," the strongest warning must be given. Those that don’t characteristically separate, prove themselves to be false believers as the above passages make clear.

EMC and Online Resources. Some of the “Online Resources” recommended by EMC Pastoral staff at LCCF include:

  • MC Canada, which is an extremely heretical group of Mennonite churches (as mentioned previously), that embrace essentially every evil, heresy and liberal/woke teaching known to man. Name it, and you'll find it there, openly and zealously embraced.

  • Focus on the Family Canada. EMC loves the psychoheretic James Dobson and his heretical organization, Focus on the Family. It is well known amongst true Bible-believers that Dobson’s FOF employs a psychological gospel that cannot save or sanctify. Adventures in Odyssey, a very popular audio drama adventures for children amongst neo-evangelicals, is owned and produced by Focus on the Family. Dobson's opinions and advice about children, the family, marriage, and society are held in high esteem. In fact, they are hardly considered opinions. They are received as authoritative truth along the same lines as God’s Word, because of current faith in psychology, especially psychology practised by a professing Christian. He has a skilled way of flattery and manipulation, endearing himself to people, with strong emotional appeal especially to women. Psychoheretics like Dobson contend that the Bible does not speak to every situation and therefore needs certain supplementation or integration with so-called psychological truths. There is an assumption that psychological theories contain truths that the Bible somehow missed. Dobson's faith in psychology can be seen throughout his books, quoting numerous psychologists as authorities and recommending their books (e.g., Sigmund Freud, B.F. Skinner, E.L. Thorndike, William Glasser, and Stanley Coopersmith — all of which are evil anti-God, anti-Bible, antiChrist humanists). He has no issue with recommending professional counselling for professing Christians, to be therapized by professional, licensed, psychologically-trained counsellors referred to by FOTF staff, which are anti-God, anti-Bible, anti-Christ humanists. This has led to multitudes of millions of people to be psychological-dependent and perceiving problems not from a biblical viewpoint but psychological, making majority of these two-fold children of hell. Of course Dobson and Focus on the Family are highly revered among neo-evangelicals, in spite of their massive truck loads amount of heresy and ungodly doctrine and practice, including his promotion of liberal apostate Dietrich Bonhoeffer (who is loved by EMC people) by hosting a 3-hr radio drama on him (thereby promoting this utter heretic to evangelicals everywhere), promoting vampire author and false Catholic “believer” Anne Rice’s fictionalized Jesus and Dobson's unBiblical yoke with apostate cults such as Roman Catholicism (e.g. he praises Mother Teresa in his Clubhouse magazine, has a large RC audience but refuses to warn about Rome’s heresies, accepted an honorary degree from the RC Franciscan University and has been featured on the cover of the RC New Covenant magazine, which teaches that we should pray to Mary, etc). Dobson’s evil  apostasy and heretical self-esteem doctrine for example, which was borrowed from humanistic God haters like Abraham Maslow and Carl Rogers, has been promoted far and wide in professing Christian circles by a slew of “Christian” psychologists, with Dobson leading the way. Dobson falsely and unscripturally claims that “lack of self-esteem produces more symptoms of psychiatric disorders than any other factor yet identified” (Confident Healthy Families, pp. 73-74), and that lack of self-esteem is the cause of every social ill (ibid., p. 67). His 1974 book “Hide and Seek” was designed “to formulate a well-defined philosophy—and approach to child rearing—that will contribute to self-esteem from infancy onwards.” He says, “If I could write a prescription for the women of the world, I would provide each one of them with a healthy dose of self-esteem and personal worth (taken three times a day until the symptoms disappear). I have no doubt that this is their greatest need.” (What Wives Wish Their Husbands Knew about Women, p. 35) He says, “. . . lack of self-esteem is a threat to the entire human family, affecting children, adolescents, the elderly, all socioeconomic levels of society, and each race and ethic culture.” (ibid., p. 24). With his utterly heretical and unscriptural, humanistic and nauseating teaching which is not of God, Dobson proves himself to be nothing more than a wolf in sheep’s clothing. To the contrary, the Bible lays the ills of society at the feet of fallen sinful man and his rebellion against God. Jesus taught that murder, adultery, fornication, covetousness, deceit, theft, and all other sin comes from man’s wicked and deceitful heart (Mk. 7:21-23; Jer. 17:9). Other prominent “Christian” counsellors who promote the heresy and false gospel of self-esteemism are Larry Crabb, Selwyn Hughes, Frank Minirth, Paul Meier, David Seamands, and Gary Collins, whom are likewise reverend and read by EMC people. Yet all, like Dobson, are “grievous” and “ravening wolves” dressed in “sheep’s clothing” (Ac. 20:29-30; Matt. 7:15-20). Indeed, they are no less than “deceitful workers, . . . And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.” (2 Cor. 11:12-15). And this self-esteemism is only one of the many evils of Dobson and FOTF, but that doesn’t stop heretical neo-evangelicals like EMC from promoting the organization, or using their material such as “Raising Truly Great Kids' Conference.” Click here to learn more about Dobson and FOTF heresies.

  • Melissa MacDonald YouTube seminar: Navigating Fear in Children. She claims to be a "children pastor" and "A leading voice in children's ministry." Yikes. Wow. What is a “children’s pastor”?!? Someone please find that one in the bible! And since when are women “pastors”?? This is ungodly and reflective of a false teacher right off the bat (1 Tim 2:11-12). Obviously she does not know God or the Word of God. She also puts out a "gospel" video where she is very upbeat, and enthusiastic and a poster gal of the 1-2-3 pray-with-me method of evangelism, promoting a perverted gospel that doesn't save (Gal 1:6-9). Becoming a Christian is dumbed down to “following Jesus” plus or minus nothing. Nothing on repentance and faith, the new birth, fear of the Lord, etc. She gets “very excited” about that “decision,” and keeps calling it a “decision,” — its easy-decisionsim. Its not true biblical salvation. She claims, “My heart and my prayer, and I am sure yours would be to, is that as they make that decision, they are being invited into this lifelong journey of walking with Jesus.” First of all, quick prayerism is wrong and unBiblical. Its a false gospel producing a false salvation. Its good she doesn’t use language like ”ask Jesus into your heart,” (mind you, she doesn’t use that language not because its false but because it could "confuse kids"), but she does promote the false gospel of quick prayerism and “encountering Jesus.” Secondly, this is one of few reasons for all the corrupt trees and corrupt fruit at places like EMC. Thirdly, she promotes this false gospel because it is reflective of her own experience, rather than what Scripture teaches. This is her testimony, which she always starts with before the Bible (she says): “So when I share my story, I like to let them know that I first made that decision to start a relationship with Jesus when I was at the age of 5. I was at a Vacation Bible School (VBS), and at this VBS they had a puppet and the puppet was the prod for her "following Jesus." Perversion is really not harsh enough to describe this false gospel. Apparently todays kids are different than yesterday’s kids, in that they aren’t interested so much in the Bible, but about “your story.” She said: “Keep in mind that todays kids are not nearly interested in this (holding up her version of the "Bible"), as they are in the person that is share this (pointing to her "Bible" again).” Why not? “Kids today are creating authenticity.” So the Bible is not as authentic as the physical person, which then verifies how this false Christianity being pounded by Neo-evangelicals is corrupt in the faith side as well. When the physical person is exalted over faith in the Bible, they are promoting walking by sight, not by faith. Experential over Biblical obedience. According to MacDonald's YouTube page, she loves and recommends contemporary "Christian" rock music, which is ungodly, unholy and spawned in the darkness of Satans place, which point alone makes her a dangerous false teacher who should be kept far away from any child. Yet, ironically, here she is teaching the EMC people how to "Navigate Fear in Children," fear that is severely enhanced by ungodly, worldly music. Wow, the irony is lost on the foolish and scornful. CCM, which will be dealt with in another point, is excessively dishonouring to God and the soundtrack of end-times apostasy which is Satanic. Her social media accounts reveal her to be a very confused, feelings-orientated, emotion-led person that is completely out of touch with what the Bible commands and demands of a professing Christian. But that is also not abnormal for most at EMC. She says she helps "churches keep visitors and young families." Okay, wow. So they need a woman teaching men how to cater to such people. Unbelievable. This is the heresy of seeker-sensitive church growth apostasy and neo-evangelical heresy, which is so very unBiblical and ungodly. It is completely of the world and contrary to Scripture.

  • They endorse the site "GoMinno" which they describe as"a Christian Netflix for kids! Some great teaching materials that we use in AWANA, like “Buck Denver Asks: What’s in The Bible?” There’s also an 8 day video Easter devotional plan for kids, Veggie Tales, and so on." AWANA is heretical and practically every single show that is played on this "Christian Netflix for kids" is completely contrary to Scripture, worldly, heretical and ungodly. The poor children whose mind is being corrupted by these shows have a significantly less chance of ever being true converted. Thats the real and important damage, never mind the destructive lives while on earth.

Where do these heretical churches find these people? Has EMC never read the Bible, which would be the KJV (if they speak and read English)? I highly doubt it, because almost everything they do runs in complete opposition to God's Word. Are they unable to apply Scripture to life? It certainly does not appear like it. False application of Scripture is a capitulation to apostasy, or a cause of apostasy, or both, which you can read about here.

What EMC churches associate with, learn from, promote, quote and endorse, is who they are. What someone believes and practices reveals whether they are in-Christ or out-of-Christ. They can't fool God; He is not mocked.

“Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” (Am. 3:3).

They are false teachers evident by their unscriptural false doctrine (Rom 16:17-18; Gal. 2:3-4; 2 Jn. 1:9-11) and their interdenominational ecumenicalism and their works of the flesh (CCM, worldliness, love of riches and popularity and power, walking in the flesh, etc), for their “God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things)” (Phil. 3:19), “For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.” (Rom. 16:18). They are deceiving “evangelicals” and most of the professing world of Christendom. With their smooth flattering speech, “by good words and fair speeches” mixing in some truth with their damnable error, do they draw in the simple minded (the naive and gullible), by “deceiv[ing] the hearts of the simple” which are false pretending believers (Rom. 16:18b; cf. Ps. 19:7; 119:130; Pr. 1:22-24; 8:5; 9:4, while in these passages, their attributes and character demonstrates their lost condition: Pr. 9:13, 16; 14:15, 18), in similar fashion to the strange whorish woman who draws in the simple with her flattering speech (Pr. 7:21-27). They are known by their false doctrine and corrupt fruit, which is contrary to the sound apostolic doctrine found in God's Word (Rom. 16:17) and true godly fruit (Matt. 7:15-20).

By embracing apostate false teachers, EMC is rejecting God and His Word. All the names listed above are complete and utter apostates (easily provable with plenty of evidence), warned of in Scripture as wolves in sheep’s clothing (Matt. 7:15-20; 10:16; Ac. 20:29-30), as “certain men” who have “crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Ju. 1:4). Its because of ungodly men like these, the Bible commands born again believers to “earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered to the saints “(Ju. 1:3), and it is impossible to earnestly contend for sound doctrine and to strive for ecumenical unity at the same time. That is serving two masters, and all who do so are unsaved according to Jesus, for they do not serve Him but another master (Matt. 6:24). Paul didn’t seek unity with false teachers and heretics; he reproved them sharply and then separated from them (e.g. Ac. 13:6-12; Rom. 16:17-18; 1 Cor. 15:35-36; Gal. 2:4-5; 5:7-10; Col. 2:8).  Such is the behaviour of one born again.

In Matt. 7:15-20 Jesus warned that there will be false teachers. False teachers can have the appearance of godliness (Matt 7:15; 2 Tim 3:5), for they deceive by appearing to be true preachers. False teachers, like all false "Christians", are known by their fruit (Matt 7:16-20). The sure fruit of a false teacher is his doctrinal and practical heresies (Ac. 20:30; Rom. 16:17; Gal. 1:6-7; 1 Tim. 1:3; 2 Pet. 2:1; 1 Jn. 4:1-2) and we see this on every hand in the authors and groups EMC endorse. This point alone proves that they are void of spiritual discernment, which comes with the indwelling Spirit of God (1 Cor. 2:9-16) and all who do not exercise this, prove to be yet a “natural man” (1 Cor. 2:14), which means a lost person existing merely in their natural fleshly condition. Like Jehoshaphat, they affiliate with the idolaters and the enemies of God instead of plainly reproving and separating from them. He was “help[ing] the ungodly, and lov[ing] them that hate the LORD . . . therefore was wrath upon him from before the LORD.” (2 Ch. 19:3). It appears from 2 Ch. 19:2-3 that God requires separation in no uncertain terms! Jehoshaphat deceptively tore down some idols, but he associated with idolaters and for that he was judged by God and forcefully reproved by the Lord’s prophet. Jehoshaphat said that he hated idols, but he yoked together with idolaters; he said that he loved God but he also loved God’s enemies. He was very confused. He was “Mr. Two-Faced.”  A hypocrite by very definition. Jehoshaphat however, is a minor example in contrast to the average "evangelical" today, who has absolutely no spiritual/doctrinal backbone and rejects separatism altogether since they unregenerate almost without exception. “Ye shall know them by their fruits.” (Matt 7:15-20).

By associating with complete heretics and apostates, false teachers, EMC is "partakers of his evil deeds" (2 Jn. 1:9-11) — that is, aiding them in destroying souls and leading them to Hell.

~o————————————————————o~

A test of God is whether someone who professes Christianity will follow false teachers, which testing occurs in every professing believers life, and it proves whether you love Him “with all your heart and with all your soul” (De. 13:3--the context is about testing false teachers/prophets), just like complete and unfeigned obedience to His Word does (e.g. De. 13:4; Jn. 14:15-24; 1 Jn. 2:3-5; 5:1-3; etc). If you are truly saved you wouldn’t listen to the words of false teachers (De. 13:3; Jn. 10:1-5; Gal. 2:4; Rom. 16:17-18; 2 Jn. 1:9-11) but rather separate from them as God commands (Ps. 1:1-3; 1 Tim. 6:3-5; 2 Tim. 4:3-4; 2 Jn. 1:9-11; Gal. 2:5; 2 Cor. 12:4; Eph. 5:6-13; etc).

“And when he [the Good Shepherd] putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.” (Jn. 10:4-5).

In spite of all the error, heresy and false teachers EMC people are exposed to, from without and from within (Ac. 20:29-30), never is a single warning given to the dangers of heretics and apostates and ravening wolves, and thus 2 Ch. 19:2 becomes very much relevant in this situation:

“Shouldest thou help the ungodly, and love them that hate the LORD? therefore is wrath upon thee from before the LORD.”

What would compel a so-called church and denomination or individual professing Christian to unite with utter heretics and apostates? Do they think that is loving? Where in Scripture do they find the teaching that we are to treat false teachers with charity and the apostles of apostasy with Christian love? That is exactly the opposite of the teaching of 2 John, and many other passages like it:

“If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.” (vv. 10-11).

Paul stated concerning false teachers,

Their “mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake” and “are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies. This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;” (Ti. 1:11-13).

That is how you love them, by loving God which is demonstrated through obedience to His Word; doing what His Word says. I know, its a foreign concept in the world of evangelicalism. Scripture terms the purveyors of false doctrines as “grievous wolves.” The faithful and true shepherds of history have not dialogued with grievous wolves, or read and endorsed their material. They have unequivocally exposed them and separated from them.

Their love for false teachers and heretics, is it because they hold to that unscriptural saying ‘Eat the meat and spit out the bones’? Or “basket the grain and take away the chaff”? Neither holds any Scripture weight at all, and in the latter case, a quote from an EMC "pastor," a serious misinterpretation of Scripture. This analogy is never used in God's Word to differentiate between the good works and bad works of a believer or even between two believers, but rather between a true believer and a false believer. Chaff is the refuse of grain which is separated in the winnowing process (Job 21:18; Ps. 1:4; Is. 17:13; Ho. 13:3; Zep. 2:2; Matt. 3:12), so the good grain such as wheat depicts true believers while chaff depicts false “believers,” who will be cast into hell (Ps. 1:1-6; Lk. 3:16-17). In fact all the Scriptural references of "chaff" to man are always referring to lost sinners and the wicked (cf. Job 21:17-18; Ps. 1:4; 35:5; Is. 5:24; 17:13; 29:5; 33:11; Jer. 23:28; Dan. 2:35; Zeph. 2:2; Hos. 13:3; Matt. 3:12; Lk. 3:17) and in most cases referencing those who are professing to belong to God but are not. Some claim “If I throw out the entire book, I may miss a valuable challenge or insight.” (EMC "pastor"). Wow, really. No, if you throw out the entire book which contains damnable error and false teaching, you won’t miss any “valuable challenge or insight” but will be protected from great spiritual danger and actually be obeying and honouring God. Why would someone want to read spiritual toxic garbage? It is only because they are yet natural men, not spiritual men (i.e. saved), so they treat the books just like any other unsaved person does. These philosophies remind me of Pr. 14:12; 16:25:

“There is a way which seemeth right into a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death."

Have they never read the hundreds of passages on separation? The Lord commands His children to “mark them . . . and avoid them.” (Rom. 16:17). 2 Jn. 1:11 warns, “For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.” Am. 3:3, ”Can two walk together, except they be agreed?”

Or is it because they have no true spiritual discernment? This is the real reason. They cannot obey because they have no power to obey. That power comes from the indwelling Spirit of God, whom they have not. That is why they believe lies, instead of the truth (1 Jn 2:20-21). Spiritual discernment does come from the indwelling Spirit of God, and is manifest in every true born again believer (1 Cor. 2:9-16). Spiritual discernment causes the true believer to discern between truth and error, light and darkness, righteousness and unrighteousness, clean and unclean, and then reprove and separate from the error, darkness and unrighteousness. They know these things and have boldness from God's Spirit. What we see occurring in the life of EMC is quite the opposite. There is no spiritual discernment. Error and false teachers are tolerated, embraced and enjoyed. Love for God and His truth has never exceeded so-called “love” for people, confusing the first and second greatest commandments, thereby revealing a false love and unregenerate spiritual condition. According to 2 Cor. 6:14-18, among other passages (e.g. 2 Pet. 2:1-3; Rom. 16:18), people that embrace apostates are lost. The people of EMC should do what 2 Cor. 6:14-18 says, if they want to be saved. Turn from these things, false teachings and teachers, and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ in truth and sincerity and God will become your Father and you His sons and daughters. But they are not willing to count the cost, they are not willing to “Esteem the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt:” like Moses did, “for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.” (Heb. 11:26). They don’t, by faith, forsake the apostasy and the world and the things of the flesh, because they fear man, their own shadow, but not God, and thus don’t endure the truth of God’s Word (Heb. 11:27). You cannot even genuinely repent without fear of the Lord (cf. Ac 13:26). Those that truly desire to be saved will do this, and then live by faith, for the just live by faith, which means by faith obeying the Word of God. But EMC doesn’t live by faith but by humanism wrapped around a bit of the Bible, by their flesh, by the ways of the world, all of which is adulterously mixed in with spiritual things. The Bible calls that a spiritual adulterer (Jam. 4:4), and a spiritual whore (Ezk. 16:28; Rev. 17), and all such are God’s enemies (Jam 4:4).

All Christian related false teachers refer to themselves as Christian. But they aren’t actually truly Christian, even though they claim the title. Anyone can claim the title but the Bible tells us who are true Christians indeed, with entire books written for this purpose, such as 1 John, 2 John, 3 John, and James. The EMC churches are loaded with people like this. They come with a label, like their churches, but they aren’t actually what they claim. We know that because of what the Bible teaches, and what they are teaching, believing, and fine with.

7. EMC is Sold out to Neo-Evangelicalism and Many Emerging Church Heresies.

Neo-Evangelicalism is a philosophy in the church which promotes tolerance and "love" and speaks of separation in very general terms, choosing not to name or denounce false teachers and false teaching, or actually separate from the false teachings and teachers or from corrupt churches, or from the world. While we are to promote Biblical love and Scriptural tolerance in the church (in line with Scripture), we are also to speak the truth in love. We are to warn against false teachers and denounce false teaching as the Lord Jesus did. While we are to be patient with young believers, we are not to compromise any part of the faith.

Neo-evangelicalism is a movement that first tolerated error and sin, then accommodated it, cooperated with it, and ultimately capitulated to it, and that is what we see in “evangelicals” today, their leaders, churches and people, on every hand. “Evangelical” and “neo-evangelical” are now synonymous, essentially defined by the apostate Laodicean church (Rev 3:14-18). They think they see, are rich and are clothed but are in fact blind, poor and naked.

EMC churches don't do the Great Commission but they do so-called “outreach programs,” reaching the world by the means of the world. This is neo-evangelicalism. They are worldly and love the world and attempt to win the lost to the false Jesus they have carved out in the imaginations of their minds, by the things of the world. The “outreach program” of Gods Word is to obey Gods Word in all areas (Jn 14:23-24; 1 Jn 2:3-5), which seems as foreign to these evangelicals as a true Bible (the KJV in English), being used in their churches. The “Jesus” they believe in and have embraced is “another Jesus” just like their “gospel,” "another gospel" (2 Cor 11:4).

The Bible very clearly teaches that a Christian is to be separated from the world, from false teachers/churches, from disobedient and false professing "brothers," especially heretics (Ti 3:10-11) and apostates (2 Jn 1:9-11; Rom 16:17-18). True born again believers will obey the Scriptures and commandments of God, and its not grievous for them either (1 Jn 5:3).

"For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous." (1 Jn 5:3)

One of the things they’ve done is carved out a new “Jesus” (2 Cor 11:4) in their carnal imaginations (Rom 8) that caters to their unsound doctrine, compromise, false teachings, worldliness, love of money and riches and sin, and whatever else that exudes the fleshly natural estate.

How Do We Know EMC is Neo-Evangelical and Emergent Church? There are many symptoms but the following I could classify as obvious ones, though not every single item might exist in a neo-evangelical church, but majority, and the underlying attitude and theme. They repudiate separation; hate judging and are blown about by winds of judge-not philosophy and other false doctrine; despise negativity and embrace positivism only; despise doctrinal controversy, fighting and contending for the faith; exalt “love” and “unity” above doctrine (while they corrupt both of these in their carnality); social justice “gospel” instead of the true gospel; a desire for intellectual respectability; pride of scholarship; greed of filthy lucre; hatred for strict Biblical obedience and this very topic: separation; hatred for being seen as “different” so they fit into the world; dividing doctrinal truth into categories of importance (i.e. essentials and non-essentials); worldly in dress, in music and in entertainment; soft and tolerant; deeply compromised; blatant hypocrisy; ignorant to important truth; serious perverted interpretation and wresting of Scripture; terribly corrupt views of doctrine and scriptural passages; etc. EMC type of “evangelical” churches are loaded with heresies and ancient fables including modern Bible perversions; Contemporary Praise Music (CCM); ecumenism with all sort of heretics and apostates and even affiliation with Rome; cultural liberalism; denying Hell; theistic evolution; charismaticism; contemplative mysticism; psychology and self-esteemism (often cloaked in "mental health" lingual or "counselling"); false gods; etc.

EMC is also in line with the ungodly and apostate hypocritical emerging church (Note: some of the characteristics and errors of the emerging church overlap with neo-evangelicalism). They reflect many of the conservative and liberal emerging church characteristics, which are all really characteristics of heresy and apostasy, which include hypocrisy; logical fallacy argumentation (which is just another form of lying and bearing false witness); mixing truth with error; corrupting and wresting Scripture continually and habitually; refusing to accept or acknowledge their relativism; rejecting the infallibility and inerrancy of Scripture; rejecting the sole authority of Scripture (at bare minimum by their preaching and actions); no clear testimonies of salvation; non-dogmatic approach to doctrine; glorifying doubt and deconstruction over absolute truth and faith; contemplative Mysticism; social-justice and its false gospel; other false and perverted gospels such as process “salvation” and kingdom building “gospel;” rejection of dispensationalism; unscriptural “evangelism” (reject Biblical, traditional evangelism/church planting); worldliness and carnality; ecumenism; leaning toward universalism; downplaying Hell; very weak stance on homosexuality and even pro-homosexuality; very weak on the penal substitutionary atonement; female church leaders; the incarnational doctrine; positivism and non-judgmentalism; anti-fundamentalism; essentials and non-essentials baloney; ungodly and worldly music for “worship” and the false philosophy that music is a matter of preference; etc.

The whole lot is giving heed to the voice of strangers (Jn. 10), while Jesus said “Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice” (Jn. 18:27c), “And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.” (Jn. 10:5). That is the very opposite of what is occurring at EMC.

All these things exist in the EMC denomination and ALL reflect an unregenerate and apostate nature.

And much more could be detailed here such as Scripture wresting, experiential preaching, continual false “love” and false “grace” and false “liberty” (which we covered in the last report, part 3, point no. 5), boastings, doubting’s, railings against “legalism” falsely so called, fairy tales, fictional romance, reconstructed history, fascination with ancient “church fathers” heretics and Protestant Reformers (likewise heretics), shift from objective and sound doctrine to subjective experience, virtually no preaching on hell or the fear of God (without you can’t be saved), pro-positivism and anti-negativism, etc.

Overall, a non-judgmental, undiscerning, inclusive, hip, artsy type of heretical neo-evangelicalism. They refuse to make an issue of the WHOLE counsel of God, despising many teachings in Scripture, hence the extremely shallow, non-exegesis humanistic preaching, though the power-less Bible perversions don’t help either. In contrast, Paul exemplified exactly what they neglect to do (Ac 20:27), and in this, he was merely following His Master’s example. Jesus commanded His disciples to teach converts “to observe ALL things whatsoever I have commanded you” (Matt 28:20). Paul instructed Timothy to keep the truth “without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Tim 6:14). A spot is a small, seemingly insignificant thing.

It appears these EMC churches present “another Jesus” (2 Cor 11:4), a modern Christ which is a designer Jesus concocted for the narcissistic culture duped in Freudian-think. They’re lookin for the thrill they feel in an experience with Jesus. That’s the same Jesus men wanted in John 6. That wasn’t Him, so they walked away, and Jesus didn’t run them down. These churches today would definitely chase these people and offer them something, anything to hold their attention for a moment, until they can give them Jesus the entertainer, Jesus the goodymeister, or Jesus the therapist. The numbers have to be kept up, so they keep feeding their itching ears what it is that they want to hear.

No neo-evangelical or emerging church doctrine or practice is Biblical. Its error and rebellion against God by the "ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;" (Rom 1:18).

EMC Requires Positivity, and Anti-Negativity. Of course they do. That dovetails with the previous six sections. “Evangelicals,” including EMCer’s, have a logical fallacy and false argument for virtually everything. Instead of believing the truth and receiving reproof like Bible believing Christians do and repenting of their sin, error and evil, and actually turning from it and abhorring it, they argue their disobedience and rebellion away into oblivion. Also every false accusation under the sun is heard from this crowd. ‘I only get discouraged reading your stuff.' 'Don’t judge me; God is my judge.’ These are favourites. They get enraged by the truth and by someone exposing error and sin. Just. Wow. What these unsaved hypocrites completely miss in all this is the Biblical fact that people who are truly born again are encouraged, NOT discouraged by negativity, since 2/3 of the Bible is negative, and the Holy Spirit is quite negative in His ministry (e.g. Jn 16:7-11; Pr 1:20-32; etc). Its is a paradox to the truly regenerate. They are positively encouraged when they "negative" preaching.

Concerning judging, it is actually true godly “love . . . [that] abound[s] yet more and more in knowledge and in ALL judgment” (Phil. 1:9-10). Notice that there? What does godly love do? It grows and abounds in both knowledge and JUDGMENT. That very "love" that neo-evangelicals are parading in their perversion. God’s Word says ”It is joy to the just [the saved] to do judgment:" (Pr. 21:15). Only those that are saved don’t mind to be judged, and will faithfully judge, since “he that is spiritual [saved] judgeth all things” (1 Cor. 2:14-15).

According to Scripture, we get discouraged and judged when we don’t walk in the truth of Gods Word, which is habitual for neo-evangelicals. All I’m doing is preaching the Word of God, which is what brings the conviction and hate. Every born again believer loves the truth, and thus “hates every false way” whether it be doctrinal error (Ps. 119:104, 128; 2 Tim. 4:1-4) or sin and unrighteousness just like his Lord and Saviour (Rom. 12:9; Heb. 1:9). Those that don’t “hate every false way” (Ps. 119:128) and “Abhor [hate with disgust] that which is evil” and “cleave to that which is good” (Rom. 12:9) and “love righteousness, and hate iniquity” (Heb. 1:9), do not love the truth, regardless of the lip service they give to it. And those that don’t love the truth are not saved, they have never been born again but have deceived themselves and are deluded and have believed a lie (2 Th. 2:10-12). We live in the last days of the last days apostasy, and the Bible warns over and over that the vast majority of those who profess to be Christian are actually unsaved (Matt. 7:21-23; Lk. 18:8; 17:26-37; 2 Tim. 3:1-7; 4:3-4; Ju. 1:4-18).

I hate this neo-evangelical stuff and what it represents and the terrible reproach to the name of Christ it brings. The error, false doctrine, false teachings, worldliness, false worship, impunity, unmitigated disobedience, false professions, ungodliness, unholiness, and unrighteousness, and the hypocrisy causing the lost to blasphemy the name of God, is disgusting, vile, and nauseating, of the kind spewed out of God’s mouth (Rev 3:15-16). Majority in these churches are typical neo-evangelical hypocrites and false professors, that have some kind of “Christianity” while presenting great difficulty telling the difference between good and evil, clean and unclean, truth and error, concerning a number of things. And other things they tolerate and compromise over because they have zero backbone or boldness, both of which are derived from the Spirit of God in those who actually have Him indwelling them.

I’m not publicizing anyones personal faults and struggles but public errors and false teachings and accepted sins that are more destructive and dangerous than genocide on a mass scale of bad. I do this because I care for the truth and for souls but most importantly because Gods Word demands and commands it (e.g. Rom 16:17; Eph 5:11; 1 Th 5:21; 2 Tim 3:5-9; 4:1-5), and love for God is only demonstrated through obedience to His Word (Jn 14:23-24; 1 Jn 2:3-5). The apostle Paul begs believers to expose those who teach false doctrine:

“Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them [meaning: expose them] which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.” (Rom 16:17).

So my authority is from scripture and I understand it’s serious need. “These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.” (Ti 2:15). I understand people won’t like it when someone obeys Gods Word in this most important subject, a subject that takes up more of the NT than any other, but I also know they didn’t like it when Jesus and the Apostles did it. Eventually the haters put them all to death because of it. And those Godly men did it constantly, Paul exposing ten men by name in 1 and 2 Timothy alone, in some cases for much less than what the EMC denomination is doing. The apostle John, whom they call the apostle of love, exposed heretics as well and he was pretty harsh (3 Jn 1:9-11). This is our example and we are commanded to follow it; not only by direct command but also because of what Scripture says:

“Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me. For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in every church.” (1 Cor 4:16-17).

We have to set aside our feelings and obey the Word of God, if we love the Lord Jesus Christ.

“Faithful are the wounds of a friend” (Pr 27:6).

The False "Relational" Church. Lots of speak about “relationship” amongst evangelicals/EMCer’s. They claim that their purpose is to “inspire a redemptive and deepening relationship with Jesus Christ.”

What is that? How do you “inspire” another persons “redemptive and deepening relationship with Jesus Christ” when majority are unconverted? And where does the Bible say we "inspire" someone for this purpose? God's Word is clear that its the Word of God and the indwelling Spirit of God that does all the inspiring that the soul needs. Churches are to teach men who are to teach other men, but this not that by a long shot. These churches aren't teaching men the Word of God. A man for whom the Bible is a closed Book, cannot teach another man. Experiential, subjective "Christianity" is extreme man-centredness, but that is all these type of churches are left with if they do not have true spiritual communion with the Spirit of God, which they do not.

EMC's Concocted Christianity. EMC Christianity is concocted "Christianity," which isn't actually Biblical Christianity. But it is concocted to look like it is, using some of the same terms and relying on the same rule book. The concoction gives the impression or attempt at an impression that it's Christianity. For most, it's good enough. It doesn't have to be exactly Biblical, just good enough or close enough. After all, no one’s perfect right and there is no perfect church. No. It might fool people, but it will never fool God. He authored Christianity, knows every difference, and isn't fooled for one moment by the counterfeits.

How is this new, neo-evangelical type of Christianity concocted? It departs from scripture, from the true Biblical faith. EMC churches have departed from scripture. A long time ago. God's Scripture clashes with the world. If a person, a family, or a church truly believes and practices the Bible, they're going to clash with the world. Rather than clash with the world, if an individual, family or church change Christianity closer to the world, to what the world is and does, which will mean departing from scripture, it will clash less with the world or not at all. That is exactly what EMC has done. It has NO clash with the world because it has departed from Scripture.

There is a lot at stake with Christianity being a concoction. It relates to this life, but also to the next. God isn't pleased. That's very bad -- very, very bad -- but it doesn't stop there. If it isn't real and true and pure, people will go to Hell, separated from God forever. It should matter to the referees. The pastors, the major leaders in Christianity, should be about keeping Christianity according to the Bible.

The way true Christianity functions, according to scripture, which is the only actual, real, true Christianity, not a concoction, is not complicated. It's clear and simple. The problem is that it clashes with the world. The referees need to keep it in line, but they haven't. If they say, let's conform to scripture and clash, it appears they will shrink in numbers and they do. They concoct a new Christianity that doesn't clash and ambushes shrinking. It is akin to the people walking away from Jesus in Jn 6:66 and Jesus crying after them, "Stop, I'll concoct something different, more in line with what you want, please stay."

God Himself isn't good enough for people, so the Christianity concocted conforms God to what people do want for themselves. The God they want is more like a genie in a bottle, who is there for them to give them their wishes. The message fits what they want out of life. Worship itself is determined by what gives them the feeling they want. The concocted Christianity grows, which is said to testify of divine provision, the approval of God. The feelings are said to be caused by God. Receiving what they want is called "blessing." God is Who He is. Concocted Christianity has a different god, one who approves of what its participants need him to approve. God however isn't whosoever we imagine him to be. When concocted Christianity forms its own god, he isn't God. The concocted Christianity has basis used to vindicate it. Certainty is pride, so it fights pride by justifying doubt. It battles division by tolerating error, sin, evil, and the world. It cares more except with sentimentalism, not the deferred gratification of eternal reward. Scripture is used conveniently and privately to rule out what they dislike and advocate what they love, which is also wresting Scripture, all of which are marks of false teachers (2 Pet 1:16-2:1; 3:16-17; 2 Cor 2:17).

That is what EMC churches do. It is exactly what they do, which is why its merely concocted Christianity.

It is easy to judge concocted Christianity. Concocted Christianity is a placebo against the worst possible ills. Even worse it inoculates against the real thing.

Conclusion and Final Analysis

This concludes the autopsy of the EMC denomination. The examination revealed death by a thousand cuts of apostasy.

Again, its merely the tip of the iceberg. A lot more could be written here, like truck loads 🚛💨 more.

EMC presents a different Christianity than that which is found in God’s Word (e.g. Ti. 2:10-14; Eph. 5:4-11; Rom. 12:1-2). They have embraced "strange and diverse doctrines" and are "tossed to and fro, carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;" (Heb 13:9; Eph 4:14). Heretical modern day Christianity and neo-evangelicalism, like all the cults, “compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.” (Matt 23:15). By "good words and fair speeches, deceiving the hearts of simple," (Rom 16:17-18), this is their true “outreach program.”

The entire ship has gone apostate.

Apostasy is a reflection of an unsaved heart and will. Those in Matt 7:21-23, for instance, were apostates. They had a profession of Christ, but didn’t obey Gods will, thus revealing an apostate and unsaved estate. Demas is another example in 2 Tim 4:10, where Paul says: “For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world.” That is what neo-evangelicalism is today, EMC included. The have forsaken apostolic doctrine because they love this present world. They are the unregenerate seed that fell among thorny soil overtaken by the cares and deceitfulness of the world and its riches (Matt 13). Forsaking Paul is forsaking apostolic doctrine which is tantamount to forsaking God. The great danger of apostasy is not that it’s obviously unChristian, i.e. paganism, but rather professing Christianity with all its appearances and professions. There is serious apostasy in the denomination of EMC which has led to their shipwreck, and that demands exposure. Silence is not an option.

The blight of apostates could be well summarized by Is. 5:20:

“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”

The NT warns repeatedly that the end of the age of the Gentiles will be characterized by apostasy and spiritual confusion rather than faithfulness to the truth (Matt 24:3-4, 11, 24; 1 Tim 4:1-5; 2 Tim 3:1-13; 4:3-4; 2 Pet 2:1; Ju 1:3-17). If you cannot recognize it, you may well be blind and very likely part of the problem. Sadly, the vast majority of churches today by far are apostate. Churches are being leavened over with heresy, and filled with unregenerate people. The churches of the EMC denomination are no exception. But apostasy must be aggressively rejected for its only end is destruction and eternal damnation to all involved.

Is EMC willing to repent of their unscriptural practice and doctrine? That would be God’s most basic expectation, in accordance to His Word (2 Cor. 7:10-11). Excuses won't fly. Nothing written here is exaggerated or not factual. Its just the cold hard truth, though merely the tip of the cold iceberg, but EMC ain't cold, though God wishes they were (Rev 3:15) so He could actually work on them, and draw them to Himself, under reproof and conviction so that they might be saved (read Pr 1:20-32). Here is what He would say to denominations such as this: "I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot." Rev 3:15). They are lukewarm and thats a big, big problem. God cannot work in the "lukewarm" because they think they are right with Him, that they belong to Him (i.e. hot), when in reality they are actually unsaved, and do not know Him (i.e. cold); which when combined equates lukewarm. God will spew the lukewarm out of His mouth (Rev 3:16) because false professing "believers" leave a nauseating taste in the mouth. Indeed. They claim to be Christian, but have never been born again (keep reading here on the false "Christian" label of lukewarm). So they are hypocrites, either of the Pharisaical kind (Matt 23), or of the lasciviousness/antinomianism kind (Ju 1:4; Rev 3:17-18).

"So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see." (Rev 3:16-18)

EMC plays at religion. They fulfil passages such as Mk. 7:7, 9, 13. A people obsessed with temporal things cannot be expected to understand permanent things, and they certainly cannot be authoritative on eternal things. Over and over, in the preaching, in the newsletters, in the conferences, in the endorsements and associations, in their programs and concerts, EMCer’s prove themselves to be void of true Biblical regeneration and conversion, and void of the truth, and by implication of passages such as Ps. 1:1-6 prove indeed that they are simply a collection of apostates themselves, not aligning with vv. 1-3, the saved, but falling in line with vv. 4-6, the lost, since they walk “in the counsel of the ungodly,” and stand “in the way of sinners,” and sit “in the seat of the scornful” and do not “delight . . . in the law of the LORD;” for if they did, they would “hate every false way” (Ps. 119:104) and “mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them” (Rom. 16:17) and would not consistently and joyfully read and yoke with “the enemies of the cross of Christ:” (Phil. 3:18). They should stop fooling themselves, since they can’t fool God.

“For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.” (Ps. 1:6)

The people aren’t saved because the leaders aren’t saved. It’s the blind leading the blind, so that both end up in the ditch (Lk 6:39). But the horribly dangerous thing is, they think they are saved. They think they are okay, when they’re actually not. This is why they ignore reports such as this, for they cannot see how they've corrupted and denied doctrine, or that they're promoting a false gospel, or they're practicing corrupt and false worship of the flesh, or all the other things documented in this report. The Lord Jesus addresses their blindness, deafness, and inability to understand with the heart in the farming parable, which is a salvation parable:

"For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them." (Matt 13:12-15)

Maybe the most frightful thing about being a false professor is that little bit of knowledge and understanding that they have, will be taken away from them (Matt 13:12), a truth reiterated multiple times in the NT. This is why they "wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived." (2 Tim 3:13).

If they weren't blind, would they add to all their programs, a monthly, or at least annual, book burning party (and music while we’re at it), where everyone gathers around the bonfire and burns all their neo-evangelical, emergent church, seeker-sensitive and other heretical books, and their buffet of modern “Bible” perversions, and their ungodly “worship” music (including all the other worldly pop and rock music), and all their gender indistinctive clothing, all to the glory of God, demonstrating true saving repentance like we see in Ac 19:18-19 and 2 Cor 7:10-11? As we note with those in Ephesus that were dramatically converted to Christ, a missing element over at EMC:

“And many that believed came, and confessed, and shewed their deeds. Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver.” (Ac 19:18-19)

Thats a lot of dollars worth of books, but it’s no worries mate when those books run contrary to God’s Word (reminding me of my own conversion).

“For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.” (1 Cor 7:10)

And this sorrowful repentance of a godly sort would bring forth carefulness, clearing of yourselves, indignation, fear, vehement desire, zeal, yea, what revenge! And then it could be said of you,

“In all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter.” (1 Cor 7:11).

But I see no evidence of that at all, not in the slightest, and no desire either by all appearances.

The Bible says the world loves false prophets. They don't like the true prophet Micaiah speaking truth. A true prophet has no honour in his own country. Jesus didn't. The apostles didn't. None of the OT prophets did. Neither do I. They will relegate people like me to the bin of "trouble-maker" or "divisive," block him out as much as they can and ignore the contender of the faith till they cannot do so anymore, and then circle the wagon, and find some fault in his methodology or lack of "love" or "grace." When that doesn't work, bring out the tomahawks and scalping knives. Let the powwow begin. This behaviour I have experienced repeatedly from the neo-evangelical and reformed calvinist camps, and its practically scripted. I keep my hair low with purpose.

Circling the wagon however won’t make the desperately terrible and deceitful problems in the EMC denomination go away. They will still be there, and only getting worse.

"But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived." (2 Tim 3:13)

I’m not your enemy. God is your enemy. You are at enmity with Him (Jam 4:4).

I am also perfectly within the boundaries of Biblical authority here (Ti 2:15). Just because you don’t like the truth being exposed doesn’t mean exposing the truth is slanderous. Facts and truth are non-discriminatory and non-slanderous. They chart their own course.

“Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?” (Gal 4:16).

What do we hear in return from these reports? Nothing but crickets. The EMC leadership has been almost completely silent. No gratitude (not that I would ever expect such a "fatalistic" attitude from neo-evangelicals), and certainly no repentance or change. Oh I'm sure they find justification with their truckloads of excuses, maybe something do with the messenger and his "harshness" or lack of grace, but of course none of it will fly at the white throne judgment seat of God one day. Nevertheless, I am not one to be looking for any expressions of gratitude, or expecting it — for taking the time to reach out and point out some pretty serious leaven, leavening EMC — but it is a reflection of the sordid condition. True gratitude and love, such as illustrated by the man saved from certain death, especially eternal death, is reflected “in deeds and in truth” (1 Jn. 3:18b). I have witnessed that in both the physical and spiritual realms, and when a man knows his soul has been succoured from the depths of deepest and darkest hell of unquenchable fiery torment (Rev. 21:8), yea from the snare of the devil (2 Tim. 2:25-26), such a man is eternally grateful, not only (primarily) to his Redeemer but also to the human vessel who threw out the lifeline. The many rescued from the Titanic, some both physically and spiritually, some just spiritually before dying in the frigid waters, many only physically, would understand what it means to be grateful (like the man reiterating the testimony of John Harper, the Truest Hero of the Titanic). EMC is in the same boat, the lifeline has been thrown out, but tragically they don’t see their need, even though the ship is completely shipwrecked with all its passengers on board, and sinking down its watery grave. Instead of recognizing the deadly, apostate shipwreck occurring beneath their feet, they are busy rearranging the chairs on the ship deck, while the choir sings 🎶Further Away My God from Thee 🎶 I have no doubt that the words that Christ spoke to the church of Sardis would be true here,

"I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead." (Rev 3:1b)

The only means out of this horrible mess, to bring the ship back from despair and certain death, is through the true gospel of self denial and self-abandonment, and thus true supernatural salvation, the new birth, which you can read about here, rejecting the false gospel of self-fulfilment that they have believed and embraced.

I find certain scripted behaviour when error is exposed and heretics warned about. I might be cowardly ignored, that is common, but that also tells me that facts and truth doesn’t really matter to them. The other thing that might occur is they want to “converse” over coffee. That “conversation” isn’t so much about searching the scriptures to see what the truth is so it can be obeyed, but rather to attack, ridicule, mock and entrap, sorta like they did to Jesus,

“Urg[ing] him vehemently, and to provoke him to speak of many things: Laying wait for him, and seeking to catch something out of his mouth, that they might accuse him.” (Lk 11:53-54).

Or to dig up evil (which they already do behind the scenes, looking for some slander or tale that just might "justify" their heretical beliefs and evil behaviour), so that ad hominem (personal attacks) becomes the delicacy of the hour. Is "coffee conversation" the scriptural manner for confronting doctrinal and practical differences, or accusations of sin and worldliness and heresy? The word "conversation" carries with it a different kind of meaning than confrontation. Confrontation could be conversation. However, if someone is disobeying the Bible, confrontation will occur in that conversation, but they don't like confrontation or conflict, even though both are very much Biblical. The nature of the word "conversation" says that confrontation should be avoided. The word "conversation" itself is loaded as it relates to evangelicalism (and fundamentalism for that matter), as one characteristic of neo-evangelicalism famously was "a willingness of evangelical theologians to converse with liberal theologians." That is certainly true of EMC as well, noted throughout this report in direct reference to EMC or their partners. It was a part of their strategy of infiltration. This is the sort of heresy that evangelicalism has been known for over the last one hundred years. Jesus didn't just "converse." Neither did Paul. Jesus preached and confronted. If you don't know someone, so you don't know you have anything to confront, then it might start out as a conversation. Once you hear something unscriptural, then the essence of the conversation will change. It won't seem as much like a conversation any more. This doesn't mean shouting. It doesn't mean personal attack, i.e. ad hominem logical fallacy, which neo-evangelicals (like their kin, reformed calvinists) are famous for. It does mean spiritual warfare, the pulling down of strongholds in people's minds, which occurs by using the sword of the Spirit, the spiritual weapon.

That is what this report represents. I am confronting, not conversing.

Like the Psalmist, and thus God, I hate the false Christianity that runs riot within EMC (Ps 119:104, 128; Rom 12:9). They seriously pervert the Word of God. That doesn't seem to bother them but they get bothered when someone exposes their heresy. They maliciously slander the exposer, and attempt to destroy (at least by name and reputation) the one who is being faithful to God’s Word. They claim its unloving, unkind, hateful, demeaning, slamming, ridiculing, and many other things. But in so doing, they condemn the very Son of God and the Apostles and the Holy Scriptures. If preaching and contending against wickedness, sin, error, and warning of their coming judgment and baptism with the the lake of fire, all of which is Scripture and all of which we are to preach, is not loving, well then Jesus isn’t loving, because He preached like that everywhere (e.g. Mk. 9:43-48; Matt. 23:3-33; Rev. 22:8, 27, 14-15) and He commanded His true followers to do the same (Lk. 24:44-48; Matt 10:25), evidenced by the ministry of the Apostle Paul. This is salt, but those that don’t preach like the Lord have no saltness, their salt has no savour (Lk. 14:32-35; Mk. 9:49-50). This would be useless salt that has never been saved (Lk. 14:25-35), it has no life in itself, so “It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill; but men cast it out. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.” (Lk. 14:35). Are we to emulate our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ? I would say so!

“It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord.” (Matt. 10:25a).

In the report, Is Your Pastor a Shepherd or a Hireling?, we can see that the "pastors" at EMC are mostly hirelings, not shepherd's. The hireling is described in further detail over at Is 56:10-11, which again fits the leadership of EMC churches to precision (and not only this denomination but neo-evangelicals in general, almost without exception):

"His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber. Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter."

Truth is antithetical. You can’t love truth if you don’t hate error. EMC doesn't hate error. According to Isa 56:10-11, its leaders are "dumb dogs."

EMC is outrageous. Outrageously egregious. Outrageously erroneous. Outrageously worldly. Outrageously false worshippers. Outrageously wrong.

You know what else is outrageous at EMC? The death of outrage.

Evangelicalism, EMC, and the like, are the cause of that death. Shame on them.

Silence on our part is not an option in the face of error, heresy and apostasy, all of which is very public and very influential. Being grounded in the truth with discernment and moving unto perfection (Heb 6:1-2) isn’t enough on its own — it demands a response. Spiritual discernment is predicated upon obedience (1 Cor 2:15-16; Pr 21:15; Lk 12:57), and silence is seen as consent (e.g. Lev 5:1; Ps 39:4; 116:10). Abraham Lincoln once said, “To sin by silence when they should speak in protest, makes cowards of men.” I would say amen to that. So I must give heed to Jer. 1:17,

“Thou therefore gird up thy loins, and arise, and speak unto them all that I command thee: be not dismayed at their faces, lest I confound thee before them.”

And Jer 20:9,

“Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay.”

Practicing what we preach MUST be in accordance to Gods Word. This means to obey Gods every word. Only those that are actually truly born again will do that because only they actually love God and all that love God (which love comes from Him — Deu. 30:6; Rom. 5:5), obey Him (Jn. 14:15-24; 1 Jn. 2:3-5; 2 Jn. 1:9-11). That is one big reason we know majority in these sort of institutions and denominations are unsaved. God's Word demands separation from sinners, from sin, from error, from the world, and from those that live or practice these things. Ex. 33:16; Lev. 20:24-26; 2 Ki. 17:15; Ez. 9:1; 10:11; Neh. 9:2; 10:28; Ps. 1:1-6; 6:8; 28:3; 101:4-8; Pr. 4:14-15, 25-27; 9:6; 13:7; 18:1; 23:20; 24:1; Ezk. 22:26; Mal. 3:16-18; Matt. 7:15-20; 10:34-37; Rom. 16:17-18; 1 Cor. 5:9-11; 10:20-22; 2 Cor. 6:14-18; 11:3-4, 12-15; Gal. 1:6-9; 2:4-5; 5:1-12; Eph. 5:5-13; Phil. 3:1-2, 17-19; 2 Th. 3:6-15; 1 Tim. 4:1-6; 6:3-5; 2 Tim. 2:20-21; 3:1-9; 4:3-4; Ti. 1:9-16; 3:10-11; Heb. 13:12-13; Jam. 4:4; 2 Pet. 2:3; 1 Jn. 4:1; 2 Jn. 1:9-11; 3 Jn. 1:9-11; etc.

If you’re of the philosophy that exposing EMC is unBiblical or unloving, then you indirectly accuse God and His Word of being unBiblical and unloving. Contemplating heaven and hell and the destiny of men, demands brutal honesty. Thus, it is impossible to write in a total dispassionate style. Sadly, in spiritual matters, most people prefer a sweet lie to the bitter truth. How does one travel on this road of apostasy that leads to destruction and eternal damnation (Matt 7:13-14)? There are a few interrelated subjects that are to blame but they don’t exactly overlap. If I were to characterize the major stops on the road of apostasy, I would call the whole road, "faithless." Each step of the disobedient way takes away confidence in the Word of God that should be there. They are actually faithless concerning the Word of God, though they appear to profess otherwise. There are three main stops on the road to apostasy, and EMC has made all three of these stops. A long time ago already. Read here about these Three Stops to Apostasy.

God’s Word commands:

“Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.” (Eph 5:11).

My emphasis here is on “reprove them.” God is glorified when His servants open their mouth and reprove error and sin and heresy and false teachings/teachers, for it is commanded repeatedly in the NT, and commended—all that did this in Scripture found great favour in the Lord's eyes, and mightily used of the Lord (e.g. the OT Prophets such as Jeremiah, Amos, Elijah, Samson, Enoch, Jehu, etc; the Apostles Paul, Peter, John, Stephen, God the Son Himself, etc.) This is the duty of a good Christian soldier, who wars a good warfare and fights the good fight of faith and earnestly contends for the faith so he exposes and opposes dangerous error, lies, sin, spiritual adultery, false teachers, and more (1 Tim 1:18-20; 6:12; 2 Tim 2:3-5; 3:5-9; 4:1-5; Ju 1:3-16; Rom 16:17-18 — all of which words have powerful meanings — all for the glory of the Captain of his salvation.

The consequence of attending and following apostate churches/denominations like EMC.

  1. First of all, it proves you are very likely unsaved, for EMC churches are on the broad path that leadeth not to life but to destruction (Matt 7:13-14). Truly saved saints separate and abhor error, heresy, worldliness and apostasy—not yoke with it. "Come out from among them" is God's cry to those who seek to be saved (Rev 18:5).

  2. Secondly, destruction will come upon you. Oh it might not happen today or tomorrow but don’t kid yourself, it will happen nevertheless. You are serving your flesh and not the Spirit of God, and those that do this will be destroyed. In Gal. 6:7-8 contrasts two types of peoples by the characteristics of what they serve: the flesh or the Spirit. The former is unregenerate while the latter is regenerate. The who reap to the flesh will be destroyed (Gal 6:7). Again, it points to # 1.

  3. Thirdly, your family will be destroyed. Fellowship with apostasy will drastically affect the lives of your children as well. They will never get truly saved but will simply be imitators and counterfeits (at best, by those who actually maintain some kind of resemblance to Christianity) and eventually their true colours will come out. They will likely reject church and God, since hypocrisy is all they actually understand from these environments, and may very likely never get truly converted. Thats the greatest danger of the lukewarm "Christian."

Vast majority of people at EMC are unconverted which is why they don't separate from the apostasy, instead continuing to follow “another Jesus” and believing “another gospel” while guided by “another spirit” (2 Cor. 11:4). In fact, only those that see the apostasy and come out and separate from groups such as these, in obedience to the Word of God (e.g. Rom. 16:17-18; 2 Cor. 6:14-18; 11:3-4, 12-15; Gal. 1:6-9; 2:4-5; Phil. 3:17-19; 1 Tim. 6:3-5; 2 Tim. 4:1-4; Ti. 1:9-16; 3:10-11; Ju. 1:3-16; etc) do evidence the true fruit of salvation, for this organization is consistently transgressing much of God’s Word. Separation starts with salvation (2 Cor. 6:14-18; Pr. 9:6; Lk. 14:33), followed by marking them and exposing them in obedience to Scripture (Rom. 16:17-18), certainly NOT yoking together in fellowship!

"A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil: but the fool rageth, and is confident." (Pr 14:16).

Don't be a fool.

The warning has been sent, but sadly I believe Jer. 6:16-17 will only come to pass:

“Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein. Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken.”
“Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?” (Gal. 4:16).

But isn’t it wrong to judge, is the cry from snowflake rebels against God's Word? Practically the only passage neo-evangelicals know (and one from the KJV which most of them reject, at that!) is “Judge not that ye be not judged” (Matt. 7:1). Not only are all born again believers commanded to judge (Jn. 17:17; I Pet. 4:6), it is in fact a major mark of one that is truly converted (Lev. 19:15, 35-37; Pr. 21:15; I Cor. 2:15). True Biblical love, the love of the saved, judges and abounds more and more in judgment. "And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;" (Phil. 1:9-10). The redeemed judge righteously (Jn. 7:24) since "God judgeth the righteous" (Ps. 7:8, 11a), and they emulate their Lord in judging: "For the LORD loveth judgment, . . . The mouth of the righteous [the saved] speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment." (Ps. 37:28a, 30). Only true believers will judge consistently as commanded, because judgment and discernment are one and the same. Every true believer has spiritual discernment (1 Cor. 2:12-14) and thus judges, for "he that is spiritual judgeth all things" (v. 15) having the "mind of the Lord" (v. 16). Those that judge have the mind of the Lord because they are saved. Those that judge not and fight against judging by rejecting it and putting up straw men and other logical fallacies, prove to have not spiritual discernment and the mind of the Lord, thus they are unsaved hypocrites and false professors.

That is essentially most, if not all, of EMC. I'm telling you this, warning you, because you need to know. Before you can ever be saved, you must first understand that you are unsaved. That you are lost. This is the first step.

We are reaching out with the true gospel to those attending such churches when we tell them these words of Jesus:

“Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess. Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.” (Matt 23:25-26)

And,

“He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. . . . And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.” (Mk 7:6-7, 9)

You should read and listen to what I am writing. Its 100% Biblical and its 🎯. You should most importantly fear God. That is what a wise man does. The scorner rejects reproof because he has a very serious heart problem and has no fear of God.

“Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee. . . . The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. . . . A wise son heareth his father's instruction: but a scorner heareth not rebuke.” (Pr 9:8, 10; 13:1).

But that doesn't stop us from reproving, rebuking, or contending,

“But the Lord said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak. Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the Lord. . . . Thou therefore gird up thy loins, and arise, and speak unto them all that I command thee: be not dismayed at their faces, lest I confound thee before them.” (Jer. 1:7-8, 17).

And so I have, and as a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ, like the Apostle Paul, moved by love, "I am set for the defence of the gospel." (Phil 1:17).

Pr 15:31-32 warns:

"The ear that heareth the reproof of life abideth among the wise. He that refuseth instruction despiseth his own soul: but he that heareth reproof getteth understanding."

Lastly, why put such considerable time into a report that just might fall on deaf ears, blinded eyes, and non-understanding hearts?

1. In the hope of shaming them and bringing them to the place of conviction over their unsaved estate and need of repentance and true conversion. Interestingly, shame will be the consequence of conviction replaced with honour at the end for those who genuinely regard the reproof and thus repent, but shame also for those refusing to respond to the correction:

"Poverty and shame shall be to him that refuseth instruction: but he that regardeth reproof shall be honoured." (Pr 13:18).

2. Obedience to the Word of God, as a servant of Christ.

“For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.” (Gal. 1:10).
“Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common [perverted, profane] salvation [he is warning of a false salvation], it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.” (Ju. 1:3).

3. To warn of the dangers of that unBiblical, broad-path way that they gleefully march on (Matt 7:13-14).

4. Because 1 Cor 5:6 and Gal 5:9 do not warn in vain, “a little leaven, leaveneth the whole lump,” though they are WAY beyond a little leaven.

5. Reproving and rebuking sin and error brings the blessings of God.

"These things also belong to the wise. It is not good to have respect of persons in judgment. He that saith unto the wicked, Thou art righteous; him shall the people curse, nations shall abhor him: But to them that rebuke him shall be delight, and a good blessing shall come upon them." (Pr 24:23-25)

Isa 5:20-21, 23-24 speaks to groups like EMC and a warning to all,

“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight! . . . Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him! Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.”

Dear Leadership of EMC: know that even false teachers and heretics can be saved, but also understand the extreme difficulty that this presents itself from such a position, which requires and demands a serious humbling of self from a deceived and proud nature, acknowledging before the masses of people of similar nature that you are a fake, and unregenerate false professor.

There are thus some important things that must first occur before that would occur. First of all listen to what you've done wrong (and there is much) and then admit you're wrong and get it right. That involves rejecting the horrible heresies and sinful practices you have embraced. Don’t justify or rabidly defend your heresies, when its painfully obvious you are wrong. Two, on the other hand don’t go into full court justification of your behaviour. Not getting it right is bad enough. Don't make it worse by rabidly defending it when you're very clearly wrong. Three, stop promoting your evil false teachings and practices that are available for all to listen to and receive, which is very very bad, like worse than genocide on a mass scale of bad. People will end up in the eternal lake of fire that eat out of your garbage can. Four, repent and be ye saved, lest ye perish. Here again is the link on how to be genuinely converted to the Lord Jesus Christ: Gospel Tract.
