The Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) was started in the 1920's to provide humanitarian aid to starving Mennonites in Russia, a task it pursued until 1925. The goal was never to come across as a gospel preaching-priority organization but to be humanitarian, even though they attempted to portray themselves as a combination of both. After a brief period of dormancy in the 1920's, it was reactivated to help Mennonite refugees from Russia who had fled to Germany and needed assistance to settle in Paraguay. During and after World War II, the MCC provided relief to war-torn Europe. Out of these origins, the MCC became the primary “relief, development and peace agency for Mennonite and Brethren in Christ Churches in North America.” (gameo.org).
Today, MCC is supported by 15 different church denominations including “the relief, development and service arm" of the Mennonite and Brethren in Christ churches in Canada and the United States, the Evangelical Mennonite Conference (EMC) of Canada, and the Evangelical Mennonite Mission Conference (EMMC) — which are “sponsoring denominations“ along with “their congregations and members" of which the latter, the Evangelical Bergthaler Mennonite Conference (EBMC) is in partnership with. All these groups actively donate and advertise for MCC fundraiser events. They are directly involved in furthering the work of the MCC organization.
According to its mission statement, the group claims to "seek to demonstrate God’s love by working among people suffering from poverty, conflict, oppression and natural disaster." They may be “helping” people with their physical needs but they aren’t “demonstrat[ing] God’s love.” In fact, they know nothing about Gods love which is only demonstrated according to what God says. The organization motto, if you want to call it that, is "Relief, development and peace in the name of Christ." But what "Christ"? Definitely not the Lord Jesus Christ from the Bible. What they really mean is "in the name of MCC," for they stray far from the Word of God. The MCC is involved in numerous humanitarian endeavours around the world, including projects in the Middle East. According to its website, the MCC "began relief work in Palestine in 1949 following war and the creation of the state of Israel, which left 700,000 Palestinians as refugees." (The context of the Arab invasion in 1948 has been erased from its distorted background.) None of these were “refugees.” They choose to flee the country against Israel’s wishes. All the “Palestinians” (they are just Arabs — “Palestinians” are a people that actually don’t exist, nor have they ever existed), that did stay, were treated as any other citizen. Israel is the most freest country in the Middle East for an Arab Moslem.
The lack of true Biblical discernment and obedience of many Mennonite churches, groups, denominations (such as the EMC, EBMC, MB, etc), and individuals as noted in their financial and physical support for this extremely heretical organization is bewildering (e.g. “The Annual MCC Golf Fundraiser will be held on Sept 15”), an organization that has for decades, maybe even always, done the work of the enemy. I’m not sure whether MCC has actually ever been a true Biblical organization even from its inception, one that actually aligns with scripture. They might be carrying the name Christian, but that’s about it. Performing alleged “good works” in the name of a false Jesus and a false gospel (2 Cor 11:4) is treasonous and evil beyond measure, worse than the mass genocide of the covid death shot, but that is how wolves in sheep’s clothing march. It’s a false social gospel, the same false gospel that majority of Mennonites embrace (including the denominations above). And they like MCC, fail to take responsibility for their propagation of plain evil and heresy.
MCC is an organization of great apostasy and evil, to say the least, one that pushes “doctrines of devils” and “giv[es] heed to seducing a spirits,” (1 Tim 4:1) completely given over to every form of heresy and apostasy. Let’s consider now some of the facts concerning this matter, which ONLY merely scratch the surface of the perversion of this ungodly and unBiblical organization.
1. MCC is Apostate.
MCC embraces and is deeply engaged in “earth-first principles, eastern mysticism, and the assertion that all religions are equally valid” while all along claiming to be Christian. MCC pushes the global warming agenda. They’ve also had a prayer addressed to Mother Earth in the Earth Trek devotional materials (“Earth Trek: Celebrating and Sustaining God’s Creation”). (Source and Source). In it we discover a combination of heretical theology, pantheistic-based messages which is blasphemous, troubling political and social activism, mystical meditations and texts on the sacredness of Earth (idolatry and diabolical), the promotion of family planning through the United Nations Fund for Population Activities (part of the global abortion industry, i.e. baby murderers), favourable connections to The Earth Charter Foundation and Friends of the Earth – and at the end of the book we find this suggestion; “this week, make an offering to the earth, in the form of a prayer or some other gift.” Wow! MCC used to have two litanies on their website to express pseudo-feminist nature worship (both of which have been withdrawn). What part about Jer 10:2 do they not get: “Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen…” All of this is plainly evil and entirely spawned in the depths of hell.
MCC’s unbelievable evil embracement of Moslem “Palestinian” terrorists and hatred towards Israel (discussed in detail point #4), its rejection of evangelistic activity (while all along professing to be Christian — hypocrisy), its engagement in environmental issues (which is idiotic, foolish and woke garbage), its political engagement (of course always for the wrong side, but nonetheless, find that one in Scripture for me), its relationship to the United Nations (a most evil and diabolical One World government of the Antichrist, and MCC being involved with them exposes a sinister, unbiblical effort to help create a global government and usher in the global Antichrist), and its posture toward people of other faiths, including participation in interfaith dialogue with Moslems (which is just plain heretical), is reflective of only unsaved people. Matter of fact, all these things represent only a people that are unregenerate, and that includes those who support them. These “liars, evil beasts, slow bellies” (Ti 1:12) are antichrists by very definition, rejecters of the true gospel, and the absolute truth of God’s Word, and need to be publicly exposed.
MCC’s relationship to the Mennonite World Conference (MWC) and adoption of their “Shared Convictions” reveals how ungodly and apostate MCC really is, since MWC is very likely the most evil, heretical, ungodly and apostate Mennonite organization on the planet. Absolutely nothing about it represents the truth of God’s Word. One statement in MWC’s “Shared Convictions” reads: “God is known to us as Father, Son and Holy Spirit . . .,” where the phrase “known to us” is hopelessly relative and obviously terribly compromised. Nothing definitive about it, which reflects the ungodly nature of these people. MWC is pro-sodomy, pro-Islam, anti-Israel, ecumenical with Lutheran’s and Catholics and other false religious groups and cults.
In 2010, MCC promoted Mustard Seed Associates and Tom and Christine Sine. The Sines are promoters of Celtic Spirituality, monastic communities, the labyrinth and the Catholic spiritual disciplines. Tom Sine is also the author of The New Conspirators.
No surprise, MCC is also pro-sodomy. MCC co-sponsored a 2009 Nurturing Healthy Sexuality conference, which was biased in favour of accepting homosexuality.
MCC’s executive director, Ron Janzen, was saddened when a 2014 conference was cancelled due to the host church being unaware that MCC had hired an Indian group to perform traditional Indian ceremonial rituals including smudging which is a demonic activity (source).
All this information by the way is openly available and easily attained on their websites and social media platforms, unless they’ve scrubbed it (which they have done on some occasion, unsurprising). To people with such an unBiblical mentality, true Biblical Christianity becomes their main enemy, even though they continue to claim “Christianity” so as to strip simple-minded (false pretending “Christians”) of their money. They are indeed “enemies of the cross of Christ” (Phil. 3:17) sole servants of their belly (and mammon) and not the Lord Jesus Christ (Phil. 3:18) and “by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.” (Rom. 16:18). These ungodly beasts have “a form of godliness, but deny the power thereof” which means their lives and professions and beliefs deny the power of God’s Word, the truth of Scripture, and the prescription to these wicked heretics is: “from such turn away.” (2 Tim 3:5). The need of the hour is to “mark them . . . and avoid them” (Rom. 16:17) because they are ravening false teachers and hypocrites, wolves masquerading as sheep.
2. MCC’s Gospel is Horribly Corrupt and Perverted.
MCC embraces and promotes a horribly corrupt gospel, if you can even call it a gospel! I don’t think they would know the true gospel if it hit them right on the nose. No true conversion. No new birth. Process salvation is embraced with is false salvation. No Biblical repentance. Easy believism. Quick prayerism (if they even do that, considering they accept false religions such as Islam as equal). Liturgy and mazes and mindless meditation is their “gospel.” They have zero interest in preaching the true gospel of Christ and proclaiming the truth of God’s Word but loads of interest in developing ecumenical relationships with wicked cults and other ungodly organizations and a great interest in preaching the “gospel” of “international socialism” and “world government”(I.e. one world order of the Antichrist)—I.e. globalism. In their false gospel, friendliness and kindness is the measure of their “gospel.” But don’t dare speak out against their heresies or stand up for the truth of God’s Word, for then you are unfriendly and unkind.
“But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.” (Gal 1:8-9)
MCC is accursed.
3. MCC is Completely Leavened Over with False Teachers and Heretics.
The heresies and unregenerate condition of MCCs people is seen at every level, from the top down. Abe Janzen, former MCC Alberta Executive Director of 21 years, is a good example of the terrible heresy present in this organization. He loves heresy, heretics and peace-social-political activism, quoting (on Twitter) the exceedingly apostate and false teacher Rob Bell, who is as a “natural brute beast” (read Ti. 1:10-12; 2 Pet. 2:12 for a description of him):“There is a broad inclusivity in the exclusivity of Christ. . . . Rob Bell” (June 16, 2011). The quote itself relates the horrible apostasy of both Bell and Janzen. There is NO “broad inclusivity in the exclusivity of Christ.” The “inclusivity” of Christ is very very narrow (Matt 7:13).
He also enjoys quoting apostates on Twitter, such as the heretic and apostate new age pantheistic/ mystic/ Jesuit priest Pierre Teilhard de Chardin. Chardin was a philosopher, strong promoter of evolution, took part in the fabricated “discovery” of the false “Piltdown Man” and “Peking Man.” His books (e.g. The Phenomenon of Man) are full of heresy, apostasy and antibiblical writings. And he doesn’t even deny this heresy but openly promotes it: “What I am proposing to do is to narrow that gap between pantheism and Christianity by bringing out what one might call the Christian soul of pantheism or the pantheist aspect of Christianity.” (Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, Christianity and Evolution, Harcourt, 1969, p. 56). “Now I realize that, on the model of the incarnate God whom Christianity reveals to me, I can be saved only by becoming one with the universe. Thereby, too, my deepest ‘pantheist’ aspirations are satisfied.” (Chardin, ibid., p. 128). “I believe that the Messiah whom we await, whom we all without any doubt await, is the universal Christ; that is to say, the Christ of evolution.” (Chardin, ibid, p. 95). This is who Janzen loves and quotes. Janzen himself gives place and holds to apostate Roman Catholicism, writing about his experience on one Sunday: “Communion/mass at St Francis High Prairie. Nephew was baptized. Mass to the background of "Hallelujah, (Leonard Cohen)" w childrens choir.” (Apr 24, 2011). Of course, naturally would it be that ungodly and worldly CCM is part and parcel with the smorgasbord of heresy.
But this is merely the tip of the iceberg concerning Janzen’s ungodly and unBiblical beliefs and ecumenicalism—time and volume fails me to continue with this man—and he does represent MCC perfectly well. But he is just one man among hundreds, and I would suspect they are all as bad or even worse.
4. MCC is Rabidly Anti-Semitic and Pro-Evil including Pro-Islam.
Far beyond majority anti-semitic organizations, when it comes to attacking Israel’s legitimacy, the MCC hits way above its weight class. Its output of anti-Israel propaganda exceeds the volume of disinformation produced by much larger church groups. This is exceedingly evil and naturally they are pro-Islamic, which reveals their Satanic nature, though the Anti-Semitism on its own does that already (e.g. Video of Donna Entz: Syria: The Refugee Crisis, the Peace Process and Canada’s Role)—the two evils go hand in hand. MCC has clearly gone beyond the humanitarian mission they allegedly describe, and into the realms of political activism with a distinctly anti-Israel and pro-Islamic agenda. They are champions in propagating anti-Israel and anti-Semitic toxic propaganda. Incredible as it might seem, MCC and many other Mennonites won’t even pretend to recognize Israel’s right to exist, which right they deny, clearly and repeatedly (e.g. Link: Christian Peace Groups Ally Themselves With Advocate Of Genocide). In “Children of the Nakba,” released in 2005, the MCC again questions the legitimacy of Jewish sovereignty. This by the way is in part due to the evil Replacement “Theology” which is a “doctrine of devils.” (1 Tim 4:1). People that believe this evil teaching are blind, the Bible is a closed book to them, and they are most definitely unregenerate.
The organization’s overseas work includes development work such as education, health and agriculture, peace and justice issues, relief work and job creation. MCC’s activities and publications reveal a highly politicized and anti-Israel agenda, including campaigning against the Israeli security barrier while ignoring Palestinian wickedness and terror and providing links to highly politicized NGOs, including PENGON and the “Stop the Wall Campaign.” MCC has provided grants to a number of highly biased and politicized NGOs active in the Arab-Israeli conflict, including BADIL (whose application for UN recognition was rejected due to its Islamic extremist and evil political position), Zochrot, Sabeel (another extreme Islamic radical group), the Culture and Free Thought Association, and Baladna. "MCC is a donor for ICAHD which is active in promoting boycotts against Israel and aims “to end Israel’s Occupation over the Palestinians”" (Israeli Committee against House Demolitions, ICAHD). This NGO is active in funding these evil and radical political groups which runs in sharp contrast to the goal of “peace” that they profess to seek. Their “peace” is evil and completely contrary to the Word of God. By using these resources for “humanitarian activities” that promote extremist political campaigns against Israel, MCC has violated its mandate and played the part of the Antichrist.
MCC’s “Peace Office Newsletter” produced by the organization’s Middle East leadership, contains highly vitriolic attacks on Israel, while claiming that the views of the authors do not necessarily reflect those of the MCC. Ok then. Of course they do, this sort of anti-semitism is found everywhere in MCC writings. The Newsletter contains contributions from radical anti-Israel NGOs, including the Palestinian Authority affiliated Applied Research Institute and Jeff Halper from the highly politicized Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions, with other links to highly politicized NGOs Al-Haq, the Palestinian Center for Human Rights, the Electronic Intifada, the Stop the Wall Campaign, LAW (a leading NGO at the ungodly Durban conference), Al-Dameer, a Palestinian prisoners’ rights organization, and al-Awda, an NGO promoting the Palestinian ‘right of return’ and destruction of Israel. Of course they would include the little disclaimer that means absolutely nothing in light of the organization as a whole, but it also reveals how cowardly these “liars, evil beasts, slow bellies” (Ti 1:12) actually are. At the height of the Second Intifada, the MCC produced three videos – more than an hour’s worth of imagery and sound – devoted to the Middle East, all of which portrayed Israel as the primary source of suffering in the region (The Mennonite's Mission). Meanwhile the MCC has produced no videos whatsoever about violence in Africa and other parts of the world where millions have been killed.
They have developed intimate relations with despicably evil terror-sponsoring Iranian Moslems, including an institute widely identified as a principal instigator of Palestinian violence and Moslem persecution of women, as well as other flagrant violations of fundamental human rights and other demonic evils as laid out in the Quran. MCC was involved with the formation of “Christian” Peacemaking Teams (CPT). In the 2010 annual review of CPT, the following statement was printed in the section on Palestine: “CPT-Palestine seeks to support Palestinian-led, nonviolent, grassroots resistance to the Israeli occupation and the unjust structures that uphold it.” When Iranian President Ahmadinejad, a rabid enemy of Israel and Christians, came to New York to speak to the UN, a group of “Christian” organizations met him for a meal and “dialogue,” which included MCC. How terribly pathetic and unBiblical is that! Truly saved people know and obey passages on separation such as 2 Cor 6:14-18; they don’t fellowship with evil but rather reprove them (Eph 5:11). Some of the people involved in MCC or their forefathers, were even supportive of Hitler. Seth Frantzman wrote a piece titled “Gandhi’s Love Letters to Hitler,” for FrontPageMagazine.com (Sept 19, 2008) that attempts to explain the alliance between some religious groups and pure evil. Mr. Frantzman cites a letter of Sept 10, 1933 from the Conference of East and West Prussian Mennonites to the Fuhrer to express “deep gratitude for a powerful revival that God has given our nation through your energy” and wished Hitler a “joyful cooperation in the building up of our Fatherland through the power of the gospel.” Wow. Yikes. The Mennonites learned nothing from their embrace of Hitler and now they are embracing another Hitler-like figure, Mr. Ahmadinejad. Mr. Frantzman writes, “If its enthusiasm for hosting Ahmadinejad is any guide, the Mennonite Church has learned little from this dark chapter in its past. On the contrary, the church’s alliance with the Iranian leader is an extension of its hard-line, anti-Israel politics, which find expression in its funding of books advocating the so-called ‘right-of-return’ for Palestinian Arabs – a policy that, if implemented, would mean the destruction of Israel.”
This history of abiding with, fellowshipping with, demonic Satan-inspired terrorists that masquerade as believers in God but are in fact ministers of Satan, is nothing new, even though it’s entirely contrary to Scripture. In the late 1970’s when a massive earthquake struck Iran, MCC volunteered their assistance which Iran permitted as long as they stripped all references to Christianity off everything they brought into the country (e.g. material, supplies, clothing, boxes, etc). Of course that was no issue at all to MCC and they readily agreed to it! They do not represent Christ at all, so that part is true — the only person they truly represent from Scripture is Judas Iscariot.
MCC continues to support Palestinian groups and Islamist spokesmen, several of whom have declared a determination to work the total destruction of the state of Israel. They continue to promote a radical pro-Palestinian agenda, including support for demonization of Israel through divestment campaigns. MCC routinely blames Israel for Palestinian (Moslem) suicide bombers and terrorists, and Israeli militarism for the continuing conflict in the Middle East. How terribly deceived and demented does someone have to be to not see the truth of what is occurring between the demonic Moslems and Israelites, the chosen people of God? At the same time, Christian support of Zionism is jeered and deplored. “In 1989, Palestinian Anglican Naim Ateek, a graduate of Berkeley, California, who was then serving as canon of St. George’s Cathedral in Jerusalem, published his book, Justice and Only Justice: A Palestinian Theology of Liberation. Ateek’s book was the catalyst for the First International Symposium on Palestinian Liberation Theology, which was held at the Tantur Ecumenical Institute in Jerusalem in 1990 and organized with the help of the Mennonite Central Committee." (MCC Website).
MCC is dishonest and corrupt, distorting facts and truth and law to further their evil cause, while erasing the context of terrorism. For instance, in an Apr 13, 2015 joint agency briefing paper titled “Charting a New Course: Overcoming the Stalemate in Gaza,” they completely misrepresented international law and distorted legal terminology to place primary blame for the 2014 Gaza war on Israel. Their dishonesty was noted in omitting Hamas rocket attacks against innocent Israeli civilians, as well as terror tunnels running beneath the border into Israel. They even unbelievably further encouraged contact with the absolutely evil Moslem terrorist group Hamas, stating: “Restricted contact can undermine humanitarian access and implementation of humanitarian programmes…” So the means justify the ends? That also fits with their deplorable and ungodly pseudo “Christianity,” as it does Mennonites in general and most of “evangelicalism.”
In June 2015, a MCC delegation met with Hanan Ashrawi, founder and Chair of the MIFTAH Board of Directors to discuss the “importance of the BDS movement and the need to invest in Palestine.” MCC has been heavily involved in political activism for BDS and divesting in Israel companies and fighting for “Palestinian“ Moslem terrorists. They even openly embraced BDS in 2013 (source), as has Christian Peacemaker Teams (CPT) in 2010, which they helped start. Mennonite organizations such as MCC and CPT (an invention of MCC) are ‘leaders’ in the propagation of anti-Semitism amongst “Christian” organizations and play a massive role in the hatred of the UN towards Israel. What a horrible disgrace.
The resources provided to MCC for Biblical humanitarian activities are used to promote unBiblical and ungodly agendas and extremist political campaigns, violating its actual mandate and the Bible completely. So not only do they fully support extreme evil, they are also dishonest and corrupt concerning the money that is donated to them. MCC has been accused or convicted in court of using their revenues to fund terrorism or revolutionary movements, rather than for the humanitarian purposes for which contributions were ostensibly collected. That is corrupt and plainly wicked coming from an alleged “Christian” organization. It is quite plain that the Bible holds ZERO value amongst such wicked hypocrites.
But the evils of MCC knows no boundaries. MCC continues to insist that the demonic Moon god (Allah)— which is actually Satan since the doctrine of Satan in God’s Word and Allah are a perfect match (see here for Biblical proof)—is the same as the God of the Bible, claiming that Jews, Moslems and Christians all worship the same God (for instance, noted here in this terribly dangerous and unbelievable MCC article: Drink tea together to encourage peace: Muslim scholar). MCC was also their signature right there beside other apostates such as Rick Warren, Bill Hybels, Jim Wallis and EMC speaker David Shenk and 14 other Mennonite signatories, in a terribly wicked document titled “A Christian Response to ‘A Common Word Between us and You’.” Anyone who thinks Allah and the Triune God are the same, is a minister of Satan (2 Cor 11:13-15). It’s not only unbiblical, but also demonic because that is who Allah actually is (see article above). One reads an Iranian university student making the following comment to an MCC worker: "You people are so nice. How come you aren't Muslims?" The MCCer replied, “We are here to study Islam to that we can be better Christians.” (Iranian speaker advocates peace studies, Jim Bishop, Aug 3, 2010). Wow! That would be laughable, if it wasn’t so damnable. Preposterous! And this statement isn’t actually uncommon among Mennonite middle eastern “experts,” some of whom are part of the EMC denomination.
The following well researched and documented report by Dexter Van Zile confirms that Mennonites appear to be very involved in many ways within the anti-Israel movement: Key Mennonite Institutions against Israel, (July 6, 2009).
The agenda of the MCC is evil and demonic in nature, clearly reflecting a Satanic hatred for Israel, the chosen people of God. MCC and any other group or individual that opposes Israel touches the apple of Gods eye (De 32:9-10). They will reap Gods curse even beyond that of the natural unsaved person (Gen 12:1-3). No truly saved person dislikes Israel or the Jewish people. The Lord Jesus Christ was a Jew and came to save the Jews first and foremost (Rom 1:16). They are beloved of the Father even in their unsaved estate (Rom 11:27).
5. MCC’s Ecumenicalism.
MCC partners with any and all organizations regardless how apostate and evil they are (for instance: Roman Catholicism, Lutheran, Islamic organizations, etc). They even hire Catholics and Moslems to work within the organization.
Why do Mennonites including the MCC think they need Catholic spiritual directors? While it's true that their forefather Menno Simons WAS a Catholic priest, he left the Catholic Church after his conversion to Christ and aggressively preached against the evils of Rome, renouncing it publicly and openly and loudly for it's heretical teachings. For most of the remainder of his life, he was hunted by Rome. And there was much at stake for the costly choice of those who joined and followed Menno (e.g. being burned at the stake). But over the last hundred years or so there is a new breed of Mennonites who are going to back to the Catholic church, and beyond, through Catholic spiritual directors. And the reason for that is simple. They are ungodly and unregenerate hypocrites.
In a letter in 2004 defending MCC's defence of Moslem ("Palestinian") terrorism and hatred for Israel and attacks against the State, Ronald J.R. Mathies the Executive Director of MCC reveals how unscriptural, ecumenical, heretical and even demonic he and MCC really has become or maybe always was: "It is understandable that many Israelis believe that the fences and walls of the separation barrier will bring them the security they yearn for and deserve. At the same time, however, MCC joins Pope John Paul II in his assessment that what the Holy Land needs today are bridges instead of walls. Whatever temporary security the separation barrier brings, the barrier will, we fear, mean a future of increased insecurity for Israelis and Palestinians alike, making durable peace and reconciliation more remote." (source here). The Bible doesn't speak of bridges but walls (e.g. 2 Cor 6:14-18; 1 Tim 6:3-5; 2 Jn 1:9-11; etc) along with hundreds of passages from the OT solely for Israel). Pope John Paul II is a emissary of Satan but Mathies representing MCC likes him and joins him. Just. Wow.
In an article called “Ecumenical Dialogue as a Ministry of Reconciliation” John A. Lapp, the Executive Secretary Emeritus of the MCC says the following: "I have already mentioned a spiritual director from my congregation who has a Catholic spiritual director. I don't know how many times that is being multiplied. I do know that a steady stream of Mennonites are learning the art and skill of spiritual direction at Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia, at Ignatius College in Guelph, Ontario, and surely at other places. Catholic resource persons are a continuing presence at retreats held at the Jesuit Center near Reading. A number of Mennonite have studied liturgy and worship with Catholic teachers or in Catholic institutions." (source here). Ministry "reconciliation" as in making up for bad feelings over all that nasty persecution, burning at the stake over silly little doctrinal issues, or over the Bible, etc, is the term used by the heretic at Bridgefolk to describe ecumenism, or bridge building between the Catholics and Mennonites. But it's not only the Bridgefolk who are building these bridges through spiritual direction. There are now many Mennonites who are promoting it, found in all the different Mennonite denominations such as the EMC, Mennonite Brethren, Mennonite Church of Canada, etc.
On Nov 2, 2014, Westside King’s Church in Calgary hosted Survival of the Weakest. Keynote speakers included Ron Sider (horribly heretical pioneer of the evangelical left liberals and social justice “gospel”), Shane Claiborne (new monastic Red Letter “Christian” and terribly apostate), and various representatives from the MCC, who came together to “discuss and examine God’s mission to renew all things.” Ron Sider (source) is considered to be one of the leaders of the Christian liberal left that emphasizes social justice over the preaching of the gospel to save souls (others include Jim Wallis, Shane Claiborne, and Tony Campolo - source). One of many examples include a warning by a network of evangelical leaders about global warming titled, “Climate Change: An Evangelical Call to Action.” Some of the signatories included Brian McLaren, Ron Sider, Jim Wallis, and Rick Warren (source). New monastic activist and blatant heretic Shane Claiborne is often found an audience with the Mennonites (e.g. source).
MCC is a major mover of the one world apostate and demonic church with the Antichrist at its helm, which we see on every hand today. Here is another example among many on how ecumenical MCC is, completely disregarding the Bible. They are a member organization of KAIROS, a terribly heretical and ecumenical organization that preaches a false social-justice “gospel” in the name of “Christianity.” Moreover, they are yoked together in this organization with some deeply apostate “Christian’ denominations and even ungodly cults (e.g. Catholicism, Anglican Church of Canada; Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada; The Presbyterian Church in Canada; United Church of Canada; Religious Society of Friends/Quakers; Canadian Catholic Organization for Development and Peace; Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops; Canadian Religious Conference; The Primate's World Relief and Development Fund). According to their website, this is what KAIROS does: “From churches and communities to Parliament hill and the United Nations: Defend dignity and human rights for all; Promote sustainable energy policies; Build right relationships with Indigenous peoples; Inspire Canadians to seek climate justice; Link women of courage around the world in common actions to end violence; Urge companies to respect human rights and ecological integrity; Join together across denominations in worship that inspires faithful justice.” (http://www.kairoscanada.org/who-we-are/). A social-justice emphasis that comes in the name of Christianity but completely divorced from the Word of God is a harlot; they are spiritual adulterers, false teachers (2 Pet 2:1). Nothing even remotely close to Biblical evangelism or the true gospel of Christ or Biblical at all to any degree. Gods Word is not revered or obeyed but there’s plenty of social-justice, climate change garbage, environmentalism, feminism, humanism; etc, and the only thing “religious” of course is the ecumenicalism and interfaith-dialogue and a false worship “not in Spirit and in truth” as the Bible commands but instead “faithful justice” (from their website) — whatever that means.
According to NGO Monitor, in Oct 2016, MCC promoted and hosted a webinar about Kairos Palestine. Dr. Munther Isaac, director of the Christ at the Checkpoint conference, led the discussion. The Kairos Palestine document characterizes terrorist acts of “armed resistance” as “Palestinian legal resistance,” denies the Jewish historical connection to Israel in theological terms, calls to mobilize churches worldwide in the call for BDS, and compares Israel with the South African apartheid regime. That is how wicked these evil beasts are, unable to even discern the plain truth of what is occurring in Israel or recognize the absolute evil and demonic nature of Islam and it’s followers. The Christ at the Checkpoint conference seeks to advance the Palestinian nationalist agenda within Evangelical Christian churches, while simultaneously revives theological antisemitic themes such as replacement theology. In May 2022, KAIROS became one of the signatories along with George Soros, Clinton, Obama staffers and European governments behind the anti-Elon Musk campaign to force big corporations to boycott Twitter — after Elon Musk purchased Twitter and demanded to know 'who funds these organizations?' Which organizations? This NGO and twenty five others (source). So they along with some of the most high-profile liberal figures have joined together to encourage advertisers to boycott Twitter if Elon Musk brings in his promised policy of unfettered 'free speech.' These “liars, evil beasts, slow bellies” (Ti 1:12) are not only enemies for the gospels sake, but also for freedoms sake.
MCC is also member partners with Canadian Ecumenical Jubilee Initiative (CEJI), an organization that is apostate as or worse than KAIROS.
Like KAIROS, MCC falls under the label of “unbelievers,” “unrighteousness,” “darkness,” “Belial,” “infidel,” and “idols” from which all truly saved will separate because they did so in their conversion, “for [they] are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.” (2 Cor 6:14-18). Saved people separate because they separated at salvation. Unsaved people are hypocrites who pretend to be something they are not, and so they don’t separate. They are powerless because they are only of the natural man, without Christ, without regeneration, competently powerless as all unsaved people are. Their convictions are hypocritical and skin deep.
MCC, EMC and many other Mennonite Groups love this kinda ecumenical stuff but it’s wicked and revealing of their completely lost and apostate condition. Even though it partners with heathen organizations, it does not desire to preach the life-saving gospel to them. Supposedly they are pacifist but that is a farce and hypocrisy as they actively promote, encourage and sponsor Palestinian violence and evil against Israel, and use teaching materials and videos to demonstrate its unreserved advocacy of an international parliament that could override national governments on environmental matters, impose international taxes and create an international military force capable of enforcing these powers (for this info and some mentioned above, see Multi-Faith Mennonites).
“He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the Lord.” (Pr 17:15)
Final Words
Thought there are many, many more reasons, (I have really only scratched the surface), these should more than suffice as to why no true born again believer would ever support this excessively heretical and apostate organization and comes in the name of Christ, but is about as opposite of God’s Word as an organization could get.
MCC’s hatred of God and His Word actually comes forth in their actions and beliefs, reflecting a people that are actually shakers and movers for Satans New World Order; clearly antichrists themselves. All the supposed “good work in the fields of disaster assistance and relief effort” they claim to have done is deceptive and vanity as they have betrayed the Lord Jesus in the process and propagated the work of the devil and trampled all over the precious blood of Christ. They are a rank apostate and ungodly organization of Christ deniers and Christ haters; while advocating for “peace” and they deceptively propagate the false “peace” of the antichrist which will ultimately bring their own destruction (1 Th. 5:3). These men of MCC, just like “Jannes and Jambres” did, do “resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.” (2 Tim 3:8). And what to do with them?
“But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.” (2 Tim 3:9)
MCC needs to drop its false pretence and stop pretending to be Christian and start proclaiming their humanitarian position aside from God and His truth. But of course they would lose all their support then. The love of money is indeed “the root of all evil” which is the major motivator for the evil, and why they they “keep that hand extended to” those that separate from them. Their god is their belly, but not the Lord Jesus Christ (Rom 16:18).
MCC is an apostate organization filled with apostate people (which are lost, false pretenders, hypocrites of the type we read in Matt 23). Woe to them that give money to evil organizations such as this or support them in any other fashion. Much more could be written on MCC, but time is not on my side.
Jesus warned:
“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.” (Matt 7:15)
