David Jeremiah is a very popular megachurch pastor, and technical member of the extremely heretical and catastrophically unBiblical and ungodly Southern Baptist Convention (SBC), the supreme cause of the downfall and apostasy of the United States of America. He is perhaps most well-known for his teachings on eschatology and biblical prophecy, and his Turning Point Radio and Television Ministries, all of which is breathtakingly shallow. His popularity however should be based upon his true nature as a false teacher and wolf in sheep’s clothing, not in his or his followers false assumption that he teaching the truth. Jesus warned:

“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.” (Matt. 7:15)

Jeremiah is also a Dallas Seminary graduate which is unsurprising, with all its ungodly and worldly influence of middle-of-the-road, rock and roll, no separation, “judge not,” twist and bend the Scriptures to personal impulse, big tent evangelicalism, Keswick theological heresies, textual criticism (i.e., denial of God's Word) and more heresies. Dallas Seminary seems to have a knack of producing or propelling false teachers to stardom and bringing out their true heretical colours, as noted not only in Jeremiah but also in others such as Tony Evans, Joseph Stowell, Chuck Swindoll, Andy Stanley, Zane Hodges, LS Chaffer, Charles Ryrie, Daniel Wallace, and more. These are ungodly men that masquerade as ministers of righteousness (2 Cor 11:12-15), wolves in sheep’s clothing, but never treated as anything but Christian by this ungodly, unbiblical institute. They even put some of these men on their faculty, such as Charles Ryrie, Zane Hodges and LS Chaffer.

Prophetically, the world of contemporary Christendom is filled with simple-minded individuals who follow the lusts of their flesh and the itches of their ear, and consequently are deceived by a smooth talking, flattering, effeminate, intellectual mainstream preachers that intertwine puffs of Biblical truth into their unsound doctrine and corrupt world view that adores the world and mammon. This is exactly who David Jeremiah is. That resonates with people in a religious world largely evil and atheistic, just like Rom 16:18 warn us. And his grievous trajectory towards complete apostasy only waxes worse, even as Scripture warns us, "evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived." (2 Tim 3:13).

David Jeremiah style of "Christianity" is the root problem in the West. Liberal politics is only a symptom and product of this. Next time you hear someone railing on the Demoncrats or liberals, please remind them that they rule the country (or did) because of these liberal, Neo-evangelical, protestant, etc, type of heretical “churches” and so-called "Christian" leaders, who are poisoning the minds of the nations, and advancing the charge of hypocrisy. It's God’s judgment upon these heretics and apostates, and sadly everyone in the nation is affected by it.

Most evangelical, protestant, reformed, etc, mainstream churches today, are completely heretical. They are compromised and worldly to the core. They don’t bend to the will of God, but to the will of man. This is the mood of mainstream “Christianity” today, a mood characterized by either a conscious or unconscious adoption of spite for Biblical fundamentalism and obedience, love for the fruits of neo-evangelicalism, such as softness, “non-judgmentalism,” “self-esteemism,” “don’t be so negative” type of philosophy and preaching, quintessential neo-evangelical heresies. They don’t want to hear preaching against worldly music (which includes “Christian” Contemporary Music, CCM), or television and Hollywood/Disney, or wicked video games, or immodest dress, or modern Bible perversions, or anything else that they love. They don’t like preachers like us warning about popular but compromised and heretical so-called Christian leaders, whether it is  John Piper, Franklin Graham, James Dobson, Rick Warren, Tim Keller (see also here), Billy Graham, Jim Cymbala, Max Lucado, Steven Lawson, Charles PriceRavi Zacharias, John Hagee, or David Jeremiah. They don’t want to hear any negativity, warnings about their heroes.

To bad. They are getting it, whether they want it or not.

David Jeremiah is most certainly a false teacher that must be urgently warned about, because of his popularity and ear tickling manners. Here are some of the many reasons for that analysis.

As a false teacher, Jeremiah is excessively ecumenical.

That would be an understatement. And on its own is all the evidence one needs to understand and acknowledge David Jeremiah is a false teacher.

Jeremiah, who regularly shares the platform with false teachers and apostates, promotes the cult of Roman Catholicism and favourably quotes heretical New Agers, Buddhists, and contemplatives mystics: Peter Senge (Buddhist), Jim Collins, Calvin Miller, Erwin McManus, St. John of the Cross, Brother Lawrence, David Seamands, Eugene Peterson, Rick Warren, Richard Foster, Ken Blanchard, Sue Kidd, and more. In 2012, Jeremiah invited major contemplative writer and heretic, John Ortberg, to his church’s Summer Bible Conference. Ortberg's book, The Life You’ve Always Wanted, advocates the following extreme ungodly heretics and apostates: Richard Foster, Dallas Willard, Soren Kierkegaard, Henri Nouwen, Thomas Kelly, Frederick Buechner, Thomas Merton, George Fox and Eugene Peterson.

Jeremiah associates with any and all ungodly heretics that come across his path, as long as they are popular and carry the label "Christian."

For instance, Billy Graham the heretical false teacher and apostate, who has led millions into the eternal fires of hell. David Jeremiah writes in his book God in You,

"Certainly, we can all rejoice that God has gifted people like Billy Graham, who knows how to reach people at the level of tens of thousands - and even millions." (p. 200)

Jeremiah’s Shadow Mountain Church incorporates Purpose Driven into its church life. Shadow Mountain participated in 40 Days of Community in 2005 and is listed as a “Purpose-Driven church” in a pastors.com article. In addition, Shadow Mountain has used Rick Warren’s Celebrate Recovery program.

Jeremiah praises ungodly apostates. He has praised South African Archbishop Desmond Tutu on his Turning Point radio program (Tutu is a blatant wolf in sheep's clothing, a liberation theologian who believes Christ was a revolutionary along the same lines as Castro or Mao. He does not believe in the inerrancy of Scripture, but believes that all great religions lead to God. He was quoted as saying: "I am a socialist. I hate capitalism." He also favours ordination of homosexuals.)

He has appeared frequently on "Christian" psychologist James Dobson’s Focus on the Family radio program, after meeting Dobson in 1976 when Dobson spoke at Jeremiah's church in Indiana.

Jeremiah was on the Board of Directors of ALIVE Counselling Ministries, which is based upon psychological, not Biblical, counselling methods and philosophies and sends Christians to godless atheists for spiritual help.

Jeremiah associates closely with Charismatic Prosperity false preachers. He has frequented the notorious Charismatic prosperity channel, Total Blasphemy Network (TBN), alongside Paul Crouch (while alive), raising money for those wolves in sheep's clothing. In their scandalous Praise-A-Thon's, Jeremiah has appeared alongside the money grubber and heretic T.D. Jakes and many other horrendous heretics. The hosting of heretics and apostates on TBN is the norm, not the exception, a broadcaster and exporter of error and heresy, a brood of vipers with their perverted prosperity "gospel," deceptive false claims of healing, Charismaticism, greed of flithy lucre, and pure unadulterated contempt for the people watching. Giving your time or money to false teachers or fundraising for them, is exceedingly sinful and traitorous, and a characteristic of only a false teacher himself.

Jeremiah is ecumenically yoked together with Roman Catholicism which is the very worst of all cults and false religions, the "great whore . . . and MOTHER OF ALL HARLOTS" we are warned of in Rev 17 and 18. Jeremiah's sympathy to Rome is noted in his promotion of Catholic inquisition revisionism. In a sermon (Sept 18, 2012 , "When Atheists Would Be Angry") he quotes Dinesh D'Souza, What’s So Great about Christianity, in which the writer referred to the Spanish inquisition and claimed that the total number of people that were executed for heresy was approximately 2,000, and that this occurred over a period over 350 years. This is a lie, and a historical inquisition revisionism. A number of historians report, based upon historical facts, tens of thousands and hundreds of thousands and even more since some years, i.e., 1391, 1468, or 1473, the death toll figures for the massacres are unknown. The  Oct 20-21, 2007 publication of "Turning Point with David Jeremiah." featured the works of Mother Teresa's Missionaries of Charity of Calcutta, an organization I am well acquainted with having worked there prior to my conversion. The report was a positive affirmation of Teresa and the Charity of Calcutta, without even a hint that Teresa was a Catholic holding to damnable heresies such as a false gospel of works, worship of Mary, blasphemingly calling the Pope "Father" and the "vicar of Christ" (only God is Father, and only the Holy Spirit is “Vicar”), purgatory, and many, many more “doctrines of devils” (1 Tim 4:1). The report concluded with a quote from Pope John Paul II (who was an antichrist, along with all other popes):

"Keep Jesus Christ in your hearts, and you will recognize His face in every human being.”

Sure Christ "lighteth every man that cometh into the world" (Jn 1:9b), but that is altogether different than seeing Christ's face in every human being. That is blasphemous idolatry for no man portrays Christ's face, especially not unsaved Christ-rejectors. Yet by his positive affirmation of Catholicism, Jeremiah shows himself to be in agreement with the Pope’s universalism heresy and all the other doctrines of devils. The spiritual blindness of popular evangelicalism is evident in its praise of a woman who trusted in Mary and worshiped a piece of bread as Jesus Christ. Jeremiah isn't the only heretical neo-evangelical that praised this unregenerate false teacher. The cess pool of undiscerning heretical false teachers that have praised her include  Billy Graham, World Vision, Chuck Colson, James Dobson, D. James Kennedy, Bill Hybels, Pat Robertson, John Wimber, and many others. From a humanistic perspective, mother Teresa helped the poor and needy, but she did not teach them the gospel, how to be saved and have eternal life, because she did not know the gospel. She not only embraced Rome's false gospel of works, she was also a universalist. Her form of "conversion" was to make people "a better Hindu or a better Muslim or a better Protestant. Once you’ve found God, it’s up to you to decide how to worship him” (“Mother Teresa Touched other Faiths,” AP, Sept. 7, 1997, source). This was in response to a question about converting people by her biographer Naveen Chawla. This is what Jeremiah is advocating for when he promotes a false catholic nun by the name of Mother Teresa, which brings a big question mark on his own so-called professed salvation.

Jeremiah, along with George Wood (CEO of the heretical Assemblies of God), the ultra ungodly heretic Rick Warren and multitudes of other pastors, promoted the Roma Downey/Mark Burnett-produced NBC series A.D: The Bible Continues, described by Mark Burnett as:"Game of Thrones [HBO's evil, violent and pornographic series featuring battling mythical kingdoms] meets the Bible." The philosophy of these Bible rejectors is to infuse elements of the Bible with emotion and "drama" in order to get people excited about it. This is accomplished by allowing Hollywood do control the script, add or change content not found in Scripture and avoid things that are not politically or socially correct. It is evil, never mind the idolatry of portraying Jesus Christ. We cover this subject concerning another ungodly and blasphemous and heretical TV series: "The Chosen" — Unscriptural, Heretical, and Blasphemous; Yet Enjoyed by Many Professing Christians. In early 2015, Jeremiah sent out an invite to some sort of subscription list of his, requesting their audience to an interview on March 12th, 2015 of the producers (Downey and Burnett) of this ungodly and blasphemous and heretical production, "on stage in the main sanctuary at Shadow Mountain Community Church." Wow. Only a wicked devil would warmly invite agnostic new age heretics onto his stage, thereby furthering their evil work. Roma Downey for instance is a New Age Pantheist, not to mention one belonging to the evil cult of Roman Catholicism. Downey believes God is “in” everyone and everything (i.e., panentheism), and purveys heretical contemplative mysticism, stating, "The language of God is in the silence." She obtained a Master's Degree from a New Age college in Spiritual Psychology and is miles removed from Biblical Christianity, even practices Satanic divination, which is an utter abomination unto the Lord (Deu 18:9). One psychic show she participated in, the medium "called up" her dead mother up and Downey "talked with her." Downey came on the “evangelical” Christian scene in spite of calling herself a devout Catholic, producing Bible-story movies and being wholeheartedly welcomed by Jeremiah, and others such as Rick Warren, Greg Laurie, Samuel Rodriguez, and Joel Osteen. But there is further reason for the interview, Jeremiah explains. On Easter Sunday of that year, Turning Point Television (David Jeremiah's show) "will begin airing our new series, A.D. The Revolution That Changed the World. This teaching series is the “Scripture behind the story” of the dramatic NBC television event, A.D. The Bible Continues. We are privileged that producers Mark Burnett and Roma Downey asked us to partner with them in telling the story of the early church through the characters found in the Book of Acts." In his deluded, carnal and reprobate mind (2 Tim 3:8) that seeks after filthy lucre, he makes the assertion that "God is using biblically based programming on primetime television to reach the world for Christ." No. He. Actually. Isn't. Only a horribly deceived false and evil teacher would think this is the way God works. He doesn't. His will is 100% according to His Word, and His Word in no uncertain terms condemns anything addition or deletion of His ways, and condemns mixing spiritual things with the world, which is wicked idolatry. Many passages condemn Jeremiah for who he is, none maybe more accurate than 2 Tim 3:13, which is the false teacher contrasted to the true teacher, the godly believer who is persecuted in 2 Tim 3:12, and never are false big eva teachers persecuted but rather embraced, since they are evil deceivers:

"But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived." (2 Tim 3:13)

In Jeremiah’s book Life Wide Open: Unleashing the Power of a Passionate Life published in 2003, he unbelievably quotes favourably many wicked wolves in sheep's clothing and heretical mystics, including Sue Monk Kidd (feminine goddess worshipper), contemplative heretics Calvin Miller and Michael Card and Brother Lawrence, Peter Senge (Buddhist), emerging church leader and heretic Erwin McManus, the evil and heretical author of the Message blasphemy Eugene Peterson, and Catholic “saint” John of the Cross. These are all ungodly heretics, but how ungodly and apostate is Sue Monk Kidd really? A number of years prior to Jeremiah promoting Kidd in his book, Kidd described her apostate and reprobate journey from a SBC Sunday school teacher to a goddess worshipper via the path of contemplative mysticism:

As I grounded myself in feminine spiritual experience, that fall I was initiated into my body in a deeper way. I came to know myself as an embodiment of Goddess. . . . The day of my awakening was the day I saw and knew I saw all things in God, and God in all things” (The Dance of the Dissident Daughter, pp. 161, 163).

Blasphemy and heresy of the highest degree, so what would compel a so-called Christian to positively quote this ungodly heretic, or Catholic and Buddhist unregenerate apostates?

In his book, Captured by Grace published in 2006, he discusses the heretical Catholic priest and universalist, contemplative mystic and sodomite Henri Nouwen. Nouwen claimed that every person who believes in a higher power and follows their of the future is of God and is building God’s kingdom. His universalist doctrine allowed for all people, even those in Buddhism, Hinduism, and Islam to be welcomed into heaven: Today I personally believe that while Jesus came to open the door to God’s house, all human beings can walk through that door, whether they know about Jesus or not. Today I see it as my call to help every person claim his or her own way to God” (Sabbatical Journey, 1998, p. 51). He wasn't only into universalism but also panentheism (God is in all things): The God who dwells in our inner sanctuary is the same as the one who dwells in the inner sanctuary of each human being” (Here and Now, p. 22). Nouwen claimed that contemplative meditation was necessary for an intimacy with God (“I do not believe anyone can ever become a deep person without stillness and silence” -- quoted by Chuck Swindoll, So You Want to Be Like Christ, p. 65). He stated that mysticism and contemplative prayer (into which he was deeply) can create ecumenical unity among Christians by learning to hear “the voice of love.” This tied into his heresy that God is only love, unconditional love. God is much more than just love. He is also wrath for instance, under which Nouwen already fell while upon the earth (Jn 3:36), by which he has been judged from the moment he slammed into eternity. Every course of writing that Nouwen underwent in the last three decades of his life, espouses the path of mysticism. For all intends and purposes, when you read and promote Henri Nouwen, you are reading and promoting the horrendous mystical heretic and Catholic Thomas Merton they are one and the same. Equally they believed in the importance of eastern-religion meditation, both believed in many paths to God and that divinity dwelt in all things and people (pantheism).  All of this is of course patently false, evil and unfruitful works of darkness by a wicked servant of Satan (2 Cor 11:12-15) and that neo-evangelicals would embrace and endorse wicked wolves such as this reflects how horribly heretical and deceptive they themselves really are.

Additionally in the same book, Captured by Grace, Jeremiah included an endorsement by Ken Blanchard, another neo-evangelical heretic loaded to the brim with every sort of heresy. In the same year, Jeremiah signed on with Ken Blanchard and Laurie Beth Jones in the heretical Lead Like Jesus conference, which is filled with unscriptural, worldly, false doctrine and psychology-based teachings and garbage.

For many years Jeremiah spoke annually at the Billy Graham Training Center, known as The Cove, named after the extremely compromised and heretical Baptist evangelist Billy Graham. He has also spoken at ecumenical, charismatic, psychoheretical men's conferences that have become very popular since the advent of the heretical and ecumenical Promise Keepers movement.

Jeremiah has participated in an ecumenical dialogue with apostate relational theology preacher Bruce Larson (and once co-pastor of apostate Robert Schuller's Crystal Cathedral). Other participants included Chuck Swindol and Charles Blake, pastor of the West Angeles Church of God in Christ (Fundamentalist Digest, Jul-Aug 1994). He has honoured ungodly liberal/neo-orthodox men like William Barclay (a favourite seemingly) and German theologian Dietrich Bonhoeffer (quoted in Turning Toward Integrity) who is a favourite apostate among neo-evangelicals. Jeremiah also promotes the excessive heretic and emergent churcher and contemplative mystic Erwin McManus’ book, The Barbarian Way, favourably quoting this evil worker of unrighteousness in TV episodes and books. How bad is this McManus antichrist? He once said:

"My goal is to destroy Christianity as a world religion and be a recatalyst for the movement of Jesus Christ” (stated in a telephone interview)
“Some people are upset with me because it sounds like I’m anti-Christian. I think they might be right.”

It becomes even more shocking when we know that Jeremiah told his church that he wanted to use McManus' book The Barbarian Way to help bring about a "major paradigm shift" in his church. Is that the anti-Christian shift that McManus is about, which just might fit with the evil of Jeremiah, who presents as a "minister of righteousness" but is an actual servant of Satan, who comes as an angel of light (2 Cor 11:12-15).

Jeremiah’s ungodly ecumenicalism is also noted in his relationship with the National Religious Broadcaster's (NRB) organization, which is excessively and horrendously heretical, ecumenical, ungodly and apostate. He has spoken at their meetings, and served on its 90-member Board of Directors, and was the keynote speaker for the their 1997 Convention. At this event, he began speaking with the following: "It is a privilege for Donna and me to be here. I deeply appreciate the musicians we have just heard [full fledged pounding Rock Music]. I have been coming to the NRB for 25 years, and only missed one three years ago when I was ill.” Wow. Unbelievable! Saved people separate, unsaved people associate.

Jeremiah’s hatred for separation and obedience to God’s Word was evident at GARBC’s annual convention in 1980, prior to departing the GARBC. Jeremiah was very angry because he had received numerous critical letters complaining that he, as a Council of Eighteen member, was identifying the GARBC with these neo-evangelicals. He stated back in 1987 (at the ecumenical, heretical and unBiblical Moody Bible Institute) that a Christian should stay in a church which no longer preaches the Bible, as long as he can do some good, and as long as his spiritual life is not hurt (Reported in What Happened to the GARBC at Niagara Falls?, pp. 20-21.) Wow. That is evil and ungodly advice. But this type of counsel is very common today among neo-evangelicals. He was also one of 114 popular neo-evangelicals of the Endorsing Committee of the heretical “Evangelical Celebration” document, which presents a patently false gospel and ecumenical unity (via "trans-denominational cooperative enterprises”), even with apostate Rome.

Jeremiah fellowships with blasphemous Larry the Cable Guy (Daniel Whitney), many of whose routines are too filthy to quote here. He habitually uses profanity and sexually explicit material and then says "forgive me Lord" to the howling laughter of the audience. Rather than reproving Larry for his filth and blasphemy, Jeremiah had a merry old time.

"Together, the two men laughed and joked, and enjoyed each other's company. Whitney's wife even had her Bible signed by Jeremiah" ("Larry the Cable Guy Shares Love for the Bible," Christian Post, April 30, 2016)

Jeremiah further reveals his apostasy by endorsing the occultic, new age “devotional,” Jesus Calling which are a collection of journaling entries done by Sarah Young using New Age channeling techniques (mysticism). Young wrote down whatever she believed “God” was saying to her and shares these in this book claiming a mission to quietly lead thousands of people worldwide on a journey of intimacy with Christ. However, she is actually leading thousands of people down the broad destructive path to hell making them two-fold children of that eternal place of unquenchable torment. We expose Sarah Young and the ungodly and heretical book here: Sarah Young, Author of “Jesus Calling,” Has Passed Into Eternity, Without Hearing Jesus Calling.

David Jeremiah belongs to the very dangerous world of modern neo-evangelicalism, a world filled with heresy and an ecumenical path to “the greater church,” which is nothing less than the end-time one-world church of Rome. Ungodly "evangelicals" such as Jeremiah have capitulated to the ecumenical spirit of the age and are busy building the apostate one-world church. These men are great dangers to any Bible-believing individual, family, and church. Never was there a time when God’s people more urgently need to be educated about heresy and heretics so as to be protected from its onslaught. We are warned in Jer 10:2,

“Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen...”

Neo-evangelical heretics such as Jeremiah reject the Word of God in their utter rejection of separation (and a mass of other doctrines). We cover the critical importance of separation in this report: The Biblical Doctrine of Separation and Unscriptural Forms of Separation. He rejects passages such as 2 Cor 6:15-17, which inadvertently exposes him once again as a false teacher, since separation itself is tied up with salvation, as this passages makes abundantly clear:

“And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you” (2 Cor. 6:15-17)

Consistently Jeremiah has aligned with all types of heretics and apostates. This point on its own more than sufficiently condemns Jeremiah as a heretic and false teacher. But there is more.

Jeremiah is no different than the people he associates with, as God tells us:

"Can two walk together, except they be agreed?" (Am 3:3)

Separate and run from heretics like Jeremiah who demonstrate wicked and ungodly associations, and espouse false doctrine and perversion of Scripture:

“Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.” (1 Cor 15:33)

As a false teacher, Jeremiah preaches and advances a false gospel.

1. Jeremiah preaches a false gospel. He preaches the dangerous, sweet-sounding, soothing, easy-believism, non-repentant, non-surrendered, have your best life now message that fills the professing churches of our day with the unregenerate. The neo-evangelicals attractive message promotes the idea that Jesus receives lost sinners just the way they are, ignoring that we are required to repent of our wickedness and believe the Gospel (Ac. 17:30; 20:21; 26:20). I don't think there is even one mention anywhere in a single sermon of any mainstream “evangelical” of that "legalistic" and hateful word called "repentance," and they certainly don't like to mention "sin" either. Rather, they talk about fears and failures, struggles and hurts. Ouch, liberal churches of snowflakes and charlatans.

2. Jeremiah's false gospel is further noted in his teaching that you can kill yourself and end up in heaven:

"I've had the funerals of a number of people who have taken their own lives, and quite often family members will come and say, "Is there any forgiveness if someone takes their own life." And I need to report that that sin is neither accorded any greater or lesser value in the economy of God than the other sins which are chronicled in the word of God. And it is possible, I believe, for a person who has gone through some terrible stress in their life and in a moment of not thinking clearly has ended their life that person very easily might find his place in heaven; especially because he could have given his heart to Christ in this life; and even to take one's life does not undue what God does in the inward act of salvation."(Saul's Suicide, tape TTW13)

To get to this false doctrine, he must corrupt a whole lot of scripture and doctrine, including falsely assuming and promoting that king Saul was a true believer. He wasn't. People that commit suicide are unsaved people. They have never been born again. That is why all suicides end in hell; they have never actually been genuinely converted, for if they had been, they wouldn't live selfishly and after the flesh and then commit murder. And "ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him." (1 Jn 3:15b). We further know they are unsaved because they don't endure to the end (Matt 24:13). They have never abided in Christ and thus are cast forth as branches into hellfire (Jn 15:1-6). They have not continued in His goodness because they know not His goodness (Rom 2:1-5). They have never held fast the word because they haven't been genuinely converted (1 Cor 15:2-4). They did not and could not hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end, because they had no true hope, which is an anchor of the soul for the saint, sure and steadfast (Heb 3:6; 6:19). They cannot hold confidence steadfast to the end because they never had genuine confidence (Heb 3:14). They have rejected the reproof of the Holy Spirit to repent (Pr 1:20-24) and thus refused and turned away from Him who speaks from heaven (Heb 12:25). They have never overcome the world (1 Jn 5:4) or the devil (1 Jn 2:13-14), both of which occurs at salvation, but rather overcome by the world and the devil (cf. 1 Jn 5:18). Suicidal people are those who have no hope, and are not in Christ (Eph 2:12; 1 Pet 1:3; 3:15). Those with deranged minds, or who have mental breakdowns, are those who do not have a sound mind and are therefore not in Christ, thus unsaved (Is 26:3; 2 Tim 1:7). These people end up in hell if they die in such a state.

We cover this subject in further detail here: Do Professing Christians that Commit Suicide Go to Heaven?

3. Jeremiahs heretical and perverted "gospel" is powerless, fruitless and evidence-less. It is "another gospel" (2 Cor 11:4), a bastardized "gospel" that doesn't change anyone, which should be evident by the above issues. The "gospel" of this "ungodly man" is described in Ju 1:4 as "turning teh grace of God into lasciviousness."

In his book entitled, God In You, Jeremiah writes,

"But unfortunately, when the Holy Spirit comes to live within us, He doesn't always get control of us. Sometimes we push Him off into a closet in some dark, unused wing of our soul, while He is living with us. Yes, He is an occupant, but He has no access to the TV room, or the Master bedroom, or the kitchen, or the garage. He is resident in our life, but He isn't president of our life. Second, there are other people who come to church who are Christians, and the Holy Spirit lives within them, but they've never given Him control of their life. They're believers, but they don't live a very Christlike life. They live on a carnal level." (God In You, pp. 96-97)
"So Paul says if we walk by means of the Spirit we won't be walking in the flesh. We won't be walking like God wasn't a part of us. Did you know that you can be a Christian and act as though God isn't even in your life? For all intents and purposes, some Christians are practical atheists. They live their lives as if there is no God. Are they Christians? Yes, if they've trusted Christ. But somehow they've gotten away from walking with the Lord. They are walking in their old flesh nature." (God In You, p. 145)

This is horribly heretical error. He is describing unsaved people as "saved." None of the people being described by Jeremiah are truly born again. This is a major reason why evangelical, protestant and other contemporary churches are loaded with ungodly false "believers" who've been made two-fold children of hell more than Jeremiah himself (Matt 23:15). Wicked false teachers and servants of Satan like David Jeremiah are the very cause of it, doing the work of their father the devil. Every true born again Christian surrendered to Christ at salvation and has ALL of the Holy Spirit, and never lives like the "carnal," i.e., the unregenerate (the meaning of "carnal"), again. "Carnal Christians" are unsaved, unregenerate, lost and false professing "believers." We expose this heresy here: Does the Bible Teach the Class of Christian known as “Carnal Christian”? and here: Keswick Currency of “Unbelief,”“Lukewarm,” “Backsliding,” and “Carnal,” Describe False Professing “Christians,” Not True Born Again Believers and here: Misinterpretation of 1 Corinthians 3:1-3 to Produce the Erroneous Teaching of "Carnal Christianity" Many, many passages contradict Jeremiah's words, including Matt 7:21-23; Jn 8:31-36; 14:15-24; Rom 14:7-8; etc.

4. Jeremiah endorses the false gospel of 12 Step Recovery. Shadow Mountain Church passes out a flyer entitled, "Celebrate Recovery" declaring on the front page, "Do you know someone who needs a 12 step Recovery Program?" Inside it says,

"Through the 8 Recovery Principles and the 12 Steps, we begin the healing process that only God can complete."

These "recovery groups" are for people "Seeking Freedom from Addiction," including the following:

"Celebrate Recovery will continue to add groups (such as Sexual Addiction, Gambling, Eating Disorders, Abuse Survivors, Anger Management, Divorce Recovery, etc..) as the need and leadership arises."

These are all wicked sins that will end up in hell, since the people have obviously never repented and been regenerated (1 Cor 6:9-11). This is a psychological and humanistic program masquerading as the "gospel" and being pushed by a false teacher and wolf in sheep's clothing. Jn 8:31-36; Gal 1:8-9; 5:16, 22-24; Col 2:8-10 and many other Scripture expose this heretical and worldly program for the unBiblical perversion that it is.

As a false teacher, Jeremiah routinely teaches error and false hermeneutics.

1. Jeremiah’s church, Shadow Mountain, encourages their men to become involved with contemplative spirituality, and Jeremiah promotes “the silence,” which is also wicked mysticism and miles removed from Biblical Christianity, where the mind is emptied for mindless meditation, inviting evil spirits to speak and even dominate the deceived person. Pastor John Gillette of Shadow Mountain encourages the use of the ungodly new age heretic Richard Foster’s book, Celebration of Discipline, which is filled to the brim with error, heresies, damnable heresies, and really was the first book to introduce contemplative spirituality into evangelical and Protestant churches.

2. What Jeremiah is best known perhaps is for his teachings on eschatology (the end times). However, Jeremiah way overemphasizes eschatology, without Biblical support. He has grown in popularity with sermons that try to clickbait current events and read them into eschatology. It’s easy to see how click-baiting current events to teach on America’s most prevailing eschatological view grows both ministry and popularity, but what David Jeremiah is teaching is fundamentally incorrect.

3. As the typical mainstream neo-evangelical heretic in love with self, who pursues his passionate love of money, fame and this world, he has written a ton of books and received a slew of rewards and accolades, fulfilling Lk 6:24-26 to perfection:

“But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation. Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger. Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep. Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.”

He has even substituted the Bible for his own books in a Sunday morning church service, as he did when"preaching" through "Revelation" (using his book "Agents of the Apocalypse"). In other words, he equated man's words (his own), from the pulpit as one with God's Word. Wow, utter blasphemy, but unsurprising considering he is a "dog" and an "evil worker" and an "enemy of the cross of Christ" (2 Cor 11:12-15; Phil 3:2, 18-19). The Bible teaches that self-love and wealth is a motivation of false teachers, of which Jeremiah and his affection for worldly means to attracting the masses, publishing heretical books, advocating for modern "Bible" perversions, is evidence towards that end. Furthermore, Jeremiah preaches entire sermons based on books he has written, which is very concerning for the so-called "pastor."

4. In one of Jeremiah’s Turning Point radio broadcast (“Living a Life Wide Open"), he describes Biblical characters as passionate and “on fire” for God. One of the characters he mentioned was Moses, and typically this would be right except he based it on the events of Num 20, which gives the account of God providing water to the children of Israel in the wilderness and where Moses disobeyed God's Word when He commanded him to speak to the rock and water would come forth Moses, angry at the Israelites because of their discontentment and murmuring, struck the rock twice, and thus is a bad example of someone passionate and “on fire” for God. Later in Num 27:14, passages by the way which were penned by the hand of Moses himself though inspired of God, tells us Moses’ action was rebellion against God’s command, and for that reason he would not enter into the promised land of Canaan.

5. Jeremiah and Shadow Mountain Church¹s statement of faith promotes the heretical teaching of "essentials" and "non-essentials" in the Bible. They write,

"I will refrain from propagating any Scriptural interpretations that differ from those set forth in the Statement of Faith in order to avoid unprofitable divisions caused by contention (1 Corinthians 1:10-11). At the same time I will allow freedom of expression in non-essentials so that we may learn from one another (1 Thessalonians 5:21)."

There is NO division between "essentials" and "non-essentials" in the Bible. Read Matt 4:4; 7:24-27; Jn 8:47; 14:23-24; 2 Cor 10:4-5; 2 Th 2:10; 1 Tim 1:3; 6:3-4; 2 Tim 3:16-17; 1 Jn 2:3-5; 2 Jn 1:9; Rev 22:14. See also our report on The False Practice of Ranking Doctrine into “Essentials” and “Non-Essentials” is Phariseeism.

6 Jeremiah routinely corrupts and misuses Scripture in chop-shop fashion, leading to blasphemous analogies. One example is that of sowing and reaping. In Nov 2014 Jeremiah appeared on the horribly heretical TBN Praise-A-Thon and preached the Charismatic sowing principle, of sowing a seed, popular among prosperity preachers in their lust for cash, to feed their lavish lifestyles, helping the advance of the greed heresy to millions of simple-minded people, and taking what little money they have. The wicked and diabolical servant of Satan, Jan Crouch (wife of the wicked and Satanic heretic Paul Crouch), in her soft ear tickling voice has stated on TBN, “God has a special blessing for the little women who have caught the vision of giving, even if only their grocery money.” Jeremiah compared the audience sowing their money to God sending His Son to be sown into the world and now we are reaping the harvest; thus apparently God believes in the sowing principle. Not only is this wresting Scripture and pure wicked heresy, it is also blasphemy, comparing God the Son's sacrifice to filthy lucre. I'm sure the folks at the Total Blasphemy Network must has been ecstatic.

7. Jeremiah's consistent corruption of interpretation and application of Scripture further shows him to be a false teacher. Pr 8:8-9 and 1 Jn 2:20-21, among many other passages, teach complete objectiveness while heretics like Jeremiah eisegetically pervert the Scriptures into subjectiveness. The Word of God is one doctrine, one interpretation, one faith, one gospel, etc. There may be more than one application, but never more than one interpretation. But even application is objective. Most application of scripture assumes the truth or certainty of a second or minor premise. One of the three steps of apostasy, on The Road to Apostasy is not understanding how the words of God applies, which Jeremiah certainly doesn't. Application seems several notches removed from interpretation and several more from what the words are. If you can't be sure of the first two, the last one seems hopeless. And this is where we’re at today, as I have repeatedly observed in dealings with evangelicals, reformers and even fundamentalists over basic Biblical applications. Historical Christian applications have been rejected, ejected, marginalized, or abandoned by these people. If you talk about applications like you know, you're proud. There are so many ways, easy ones, to explain away application, when you've already done so with the interpretation and the identity of the words. Scripture expects us to know the application of Scripture to all cultural issues and otherwise, because those who have the indwelling Spirit of God do know (Pr 8:8-9; 22:20-21; 1 Jn 2:20-21). What God says, people can know, IF they want to know. It assumes we know, because we do know. Not knowing is either blindness or feigning ignorance. Blindness or feigned ignorance won't work in the end with God. He knows we know. You can read more about False Application of Scripture — A Capitulation to or Cause of Apostasy at that link.

As a false teacher, Jeremiah is worldly and a false worshipper.

Jeremiah embraces and loves ungodly pounding music such as CCM (“Christian” rock). He’s even had the blasphemous religious rap group “DC Talk” for a week long appearance at Shadow Mountain, among other ungodly and unregenerate musicians.

The music of Shadow Mountain is ungodly and false worship of the CCM genre, certainly not godly and Biblical hymns and melodies that glorify God. Essentially 100% of the music being sung and played in Jeremiah's church, is not Biblical but contemporary, unsound watered-down lyrics, unBiblical melody, with sensual singing styles. This includes taking good, sound Biblical hymns and singing them sensually, like a pop star. Nothing about CCM is Biblical. Not its lyrics, not its musicians, not its melody, not its beat, not its attraction, not its flaunting sensual style, and nor its syncopating voice tones. Why not just sing in a normal voice, without syncopating the tone, which only draws attention to you, NOT God? A love for this music reflects the great apostasy in this generation of apostates. CCM has a worldly, non-judgmental, doctrinally unsound, anti-separatist, ecumenical and anti-godly philosophy that is most definitely contrary to the sound apostolic doctrine and faith found in God’s Word (Rom. 16:17; Eph. 5:6-11). It is these things even when the CCM lyrics are allegedly Christian (they are mostly not, but extremely watered-down, vague, and applicable to any false god). The rock medium is very anti-Christian in its ethos: its libertarian, anti-authoritarian, equates infatuation and sexual attraction with love. You cannot Christianize ungodly, worldly, rock and roll music. Yet this is exactly what wicked worldly charlatans such as David Jeremiah attempt with worldly, ungodly CCM, which itself attempts to intermix the Thrice Holy God with the unholy world which is spiritual adultery and must always be treated as a symptom of a lost unregenerate person feigning faith, since the truly saved do not love the world anymore (1 Jn. 2:15-17; Jam. 4:4; 1 Cor. 2:12), and those who commit spiritual adultery are friends of the world and thus enemies of God (Jam. 4:4), the strongest language possible to describe a false believer, since "enemy" in Jam 4:4 is the lingual most descriptive of Satan, and none of God's children are His enemies.

The music of heretical neo-evangelicals greatly dishonours and disobeys God, which is sin, because of what it illustrates or produces: fleshly lusts (1 Pet. 2:11), worldly lusts (Ti. 2:12), conformity to this world (Rom. 12:2), provision to the flesh (Rom. 13:14), profanes the Name of God (Lev. 18:21), fashions according to former lusts (1 Pet. 1:14), ecstasy (1 Cor. 12:1-3), sensuality (Jam. 3:15) and Satanic behaviour (Mk 8:33; Jam 3:15; 1 Pet 5:8). Not only does this music demonstrate these unscriptural attributes, it also greatly dishonours and disobeys God in what it doesn't produce and demonstrate, which includes showing God reverence (Lev. 19:30, many others), true spirituality (Jn. 4:23-24), beauty and loveliness (Phil. 4:8 — the opposite is unlovely or ugliness), holiness (Rom. 12:1), gender distinctiveness (1 Cor. 6:9), godliness (Ti 2:11-14; 1 Tim 6:11), solemnity (Lev. 23:36, many others) — the opposite of solemn and reverent is superficial, foolish, thoughtless, vapid, flippant, trivial, and more, excellent overall descriptions of contemporary "worship" music. This is most evident in the entertainment industry, but the members of even the staunchest Bible-believing churches are in love with the pop culture and blink, even smile, at its filth and blasphemy. Naturally lovers of this perversion of worship make love a casualty as well.

This subject is reported on here as well:

Jeremiah of course rejects the doctrine of godliness in his acceptance and enablement of women dressing transgenderly like men and immodestly, and other ungodly cultural acceptances, which means he is proud (certainly not humble), knows nothing, has a corrupt mind, is destitute of the truth and supposes that gain is godliness. Here are the instructions to people that seek to obey God's Word concerning those who reject and corrupt the doctrine of godliness:

"If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself." (1 Tim 6:3-5)

Jeremiah comes with claims of godliness but his life and doctrine and practices denies God's power, and the answer to all true believers is to turn away from these dangerous heretics:

“Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away” (2 Tim 3:5)

As a false teacher, Jeremiah is a man-centred government-kowtowing tyrant.

When evil governments came around with their covid wicked tyranny, Jeremiah immediately jumped on that bandwagon, without due Biblical discernment. On Mar 16th, 2020, David Jeremiah came out in support of tyrannical lockdown policies during a sermon, the last sermon he would give before Shadow Mountain locked down (Facing Coronavirus: Facing Uncertain Times with David Jeremiah, Mar 16, 2020, source) On March 23rd 2020, Jeremiah would give a clickbait sermon titled, “Is the Coronavirus in Bible Prophecy?” Jeremiah’s Shadow Mountain Church would go on to claim between $2-5 million in PPP loans (Payroll Payment Protection loans were given under the Small Business Administration’s allocation for non-profit organizations to benefit from this lockdown relief program, which Jeremiah took advantage of). It's excessively unBiblical, ungodly and man-centred for churches to take government handouts. If you take Caesar’s gold you become Caesar’s man. If a body becomes a business doesn’t that make it a prostitute? David Jeremiah has remained otherwise reticent on the issue, and that of course is due to his horrendous compromise over anything controversial. He has no issues with obeying the government, but has great difficulty and scorn in obeying God's Word, and of course there is a very important reason for that.

As a false teacher, Jeremiah embraces other heresies.

1. Consistently his teachings are loaded with unscriptural, ungodly and psychological feelings-based teachings. Naturally for the neo-evangelical who only serves the flesh, he teaches that love is based upon “feelings” (along with the many other religious humanists, e.g. James Dobson, Gary Ezzo, Chuck Swindoll, Josh McDowell, etc). The Bible knows nothing of this false “feeling love that he espouses but rather speaks of love is only based upon the truth of God’s Word and true love is only expressed in obedience to God’s commandments at all costs (Jn 14:23-24; Rom 5:8; 12:9a, 20a; Eph 5:25; 1 Jn 2:3-5; 3:16a, 18; 4:9-10, 19-20; 5:2-3; 2 Jn 1:6; Rev. 2:4-5; etc). 2 Jn 1:5 commands born again believers to "love one another," which is an old commandment from the antiquity of the sun. How do we do that? The next verse tell us:

"And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it."

It is obedience to God's words, commands, decress, and judgments. That is love. That is the only true definition of love. This truth, as the above passages provide a glimpse, is everywhere in Scripture.

"Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me." (Jn 14:23-24)

And when we love God demonstrated by obedience to His Word, then we have the capbility to love our brethren. Everyone else is only playing around.

"By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous." (1 Jn 5:2-3)

Men like Jeremiah speak much about "love" but their "love" is perverted, corrupted and of the world. They claim, "I love Jesus." It means absolutely nothing. True love is based upon Biblical obedience, not disobedience, rebellion and making the word mean whatever his carnal mind wants it to mean.

2. Jeremiah adores modern “Bible” perversions, including the extremely heretical paraphrase Living Bible from which he sometimes quotes, even though all modern perversions horribly mutilate and pervert God's Word through additions, deletions, and changes. Again, a point within a point within a report that alone exposes his unregeneracy, seeing he is void of spiritual discernment which comes from the indwelling Spirit of God, and furthermore, has no reverence or love for God's Word, only for self and how to advance his own wicked self-righteousness. Anyone that embraces wicked modern perversions of Scripture such as The Living Bible or The Message, or New Living Translation, is a minister of Satan masquerading as a man of God.

In the following article we cover the subject in the following reports:

3. In a sermon titled, “Preparing the Way for Antichrist” (Sep 7, 2019), Warren B. Smith, a former new ager himself, calls out Jeremiah for having called New Ageism the biggest threat to the church in 1995, while directly or indirectly supporting New Ageism.

4. David Jeremiah is not a prosperity preacher, but he gives credence to those who are, and has assisted with fundraising for TBN. His address of the Prosperity Gospel is extremely superficial and sugar coated.

5. Things you will not find in the contemporary world of heretics such as David Jeremiah include repentance, separation from the world, warnings about heresy, teaching on sacred music vs. contemporary, teaching on modest dress, clear identification of apostasy and expose' of apostates and heretics, and an emphasis on the NT church. Quietness on these issues is a mark of contemporary evangelicalism. The Bible teaching is kept on a soft, gentle keel, with little to no reproof and rebuke. Heresies you will encounter including Reformed sovereign grace theology, Roman Catholicism, psychological Self-esteemism, the church fathers, replacement theology (the church is Israel), modern textual criticism, form criticism, universal church, amillennialism, and the heretical principle that music is neutral.

Conclusion

We could go on and on about the heresies of David Jeremiah the false teacher with a list as long as an encyclopedia volume of books. It’s practically endless. Every time he opens his mouth or dips his quill in ink or embraces some individual or group or conference, he pushes some compromise, error, heresy or eisegetical corruption of Scripture. Sermon after sermon is filled with unscriptural and heretical teachings. According to Scripture, almost everything in his life and doctrine points to that of a false teacher and apostate, but even they get some things right. Of course they do, because it is necessary for wolves to hide their true identity and appear as close to the truth as possible. Dishonesty is no problem for false teachers, noted in how they handle Scripture but also in other manners, boasting of having a doctorate degree, but he never earned one. So he lies. As is also very typical of false teachers, Jeremiah does not accept correction and cannot handle criticism. These are also big red flags.

These things don’t stop the Neo-evangelical from reading, listening and supporting Jeremiah, since “he teaches good things.” There goes obedience to God’s Word and even the slightest hint of discernment, proving their love for their fleshly lusts rather than the will of God. Do they not understand that a “little” error mixed with some truth makes it not true at all? It appears they believe lies and have an issue with the truth, quite the opposite of the true born again believer (cf. 1 Jn 2:20-21, 27). It’s not scriptural to try to find a gold nugget in a pile of manure. Listen, anything that is remotely true or good that you've ever received from a wolf in sheep’s clothing was not the wolf, but the truth of Scripture by the Holy Spirit getting to you by mercy and grace.

Furthermore, when a wolf is exposed you have the responsibility before God to forsake them and then move on to godly teachers, like we see in 3 Jn 1:9-11. And then warn others about them in obedience to Rom 16:17. You will be held accountable for what you knew or could have known.

David Jeremiah, and the millions like him, is described well for us in Ti 1:16,

"They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate."

According to clear Biblical evidence, Jeremiah is a wolf in sheep’s clothing (Matt 7:15-20), a false teacher (2 Pet 2:1) who is on the broad path to eternal destruction and damnation (Matt 7:13-14). His teachings are full of error and Scripture wresting, which is an “error of the wicked” (i.e. a false teacher, and always a mark thereof (2 Pet. 3:16-17) and his practice is in blatant disobedience to Gods Word. Paul's description of false teachers, "dogs" and "evil workers" (Phil 3:2) in Phil 3:18-19 is a perfect description of David Jeremiah:

"(For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)"

The Lord Jesus Christ warned repeatedly about men like Jeremiah:

“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.” (Matt 7:15)

Paul further describes the false teachers modus operandi and motivations, clearly illustrated by all mainstream "evangelicals" and other contemporary "Christian" leaders, including Jeremiah, and heretical contemporary ear-tickled professing "Christians" love to have it so:

"For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.” (Rom 16:18)
“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables” (2 Tim 4:3-4)

Is. 30:10 describes what contemporary preachers and teachers and laity have said to their people in my lifetime and really over , and what the vast majority of her preachers have agreed to do.

“Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:”

And why do they do such things? The previous verse, Is 30:9, tells us:

“That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the LORD:”

Pauls urgent message is to flee from these dangerous heretics and wicked men and cleave to godly men who walk in line with him and the rest of the apostles and their doctrine:

"Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample." (Phil 3:17)
“Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them." (Rom 16:17)
