For some time now we have desired to write an expose of Nancy Leigh DeMoss Wolgemuth, a very popular and big Eva Bible teacher amongst (mostly) evangelicals, a public speaker, author and the founder of Revive Our Hearts ministry for women. With her upcoming True Women 2025 conference this week, what better time than this. We find it quite amusing that many people who allegedly take a stance against Calvinism, attend these conferences which are loaded with reformed calvinistic teachers, including Nancy herself. But such is the horribly confusing and dark world of evangelicalism where meager "standards" are embraced (not God's standards), the doctrine of separation is rejected, and its people are blown about by every wind of doctrine. Of course the blatant hypocrisy flies right over their heads.
Nancy Leigh DeMoss spent the first 57 years of her life as a single woman, devoted to Jesus she proclaims. But in 2015 after seeking John Pipers counsel, Nancy married best-selling author and a former president of the heretical Thomas Nelson Publishers, (publisher of ungodly, unBiblical and heretical books such as Heaven is for Real, and of modern perversions of God's Word), and widow, Robert Wolgemuth. Two wealthy individuals yoked together in matrimony. Nancy's circumstance to build an (earthly) successful ministry was largely due to the massive family fortune that she inherited through her parents (Arthur and Nancy Demoss), who started the extremely successful National Liberty Life Insurance Company, which was worth over 350 million dollars at the time of Arthur's death in 1979 at the young age of 53, while playing tennis. The Demoss's were not only very wealthy but also very popular, frequently inviting up to 500 guests either to their New York mansion or 16,000 square foot Palm Beach mansion to hear Christian celebrities and sports figures give testimonies about their faith, including heretics such as Billy Graham and Chuck Colson, right out of a textbook on Neo-evangelicalism and Ecumenicalism 101. Some of the heretics that gave Arthur was a large reason for Campus Crusade for Christ' (now CRU) explosion in popularity, the major sponsor of this group and its heretical founder Bill Bright, to the tune of millions, while also sitting on the Board of Directors. After Arthur's death, Nancy Sossomon Demoss continued their tradition of hosting prominent Christian speakers, many of which were hosted at their Palm Beach property worth tens of millions of dollars, and adjacent to Mar-a-Lago. Mrs. Demoss was one of the individuals involved in a bid to stop President Donald J. Trump from residing in his property, Mar-a-Lago, especially after Biden's stolen election in 2020, whereafter Trump moved into residence. It appears the Demoss family is leftist, Demoncratic and anti-Trump, evidential by not only for this incident but also because of their son Mark, the younger brother of Nancy, who resigned from Jerry Falwell's Liberty University board of trustees in 2016 after Falwell promoted Trump for President.
Nancy Leigh DeMoss Wolgemuth is a celebrity big evangelical and reformed pusher, and is in the role she finds herself for the simple reason of her riches and fathers ecumenical influence, and now her ability to bring even more big money. With that comes every sort of compromise necessary to keep the cash cow mooing. Indeed, the love of money is the root of all evil, and these wicked wolves truly "suppos[e] that gain is godliness:" but what does God command concerning such: "from such withdraw thyself." (1 Tim 6:3-5). The very opposite of yoking, of fellowshipping, of listening to them.
So-called professing Christians in our generation of apostasy absolutely hate it when they or their favourite teachers are judged, exposed and warned of, in spite of the clear Biblical teaching that servants of Christ are to test and prove ALL teachings (1 Jn 4:1, 6; 1 Th 5:21), to expose those teachings that are false (Eph 5:11; 2 Tim 3:8-9), to rebuke the false teacher (Ti 1:9, 13), and then to expose and separate from the false teacher, from those who persist in false teachings (Rom 16:17; Ti 3:10), lest in the end those that are complicit are found to be false teachers themselves (2 Tim 2:20-21; 2 Jn 1:10-11). This is perhaps the case for most in our present day. They do not warn of false teachers or false teachings, because they themselves are false teachers and promoters of false teachings, which is why they associate with heretics and false teachers and despise the doctrine of separation, for "he [or she] that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself [or herself]." (Ti 3:11).
The world of evangelicalism is extremely dangerous. It is a bridge to every sort of heresy that exists in end-time Christianity, and this we see with Nancy Leigh DeMoss Wolgemuth and her True Woman 25’ Conference, an ecumenical gathering in preparation for the one-world apostate church, tolerating and even propagating diverse heresies and perversion of God's Word. The cause for the great danger is the admixture of truth and error, and the perversion of Scripture. Mixing truth and error is exceedingly dangerous, yet most people today seem very content with such a mixture, especially in the field of religious beliefs. The devil has made great headway in convincing the majority of people that mixing truth and error is not only unavoidable, but can actually be beneficial. As a consequence, when God's faithful servants expose error and promote God's demand of absolute separation between truth and error, they are often looked upon as divisive and unloving troublemakers. Thus "love" also becomes a casualty in this neo-evangelical environment.
Here are only some of the serious issues with Nancy Leigh Demoss Wolgemuth and her conference, and why no true Bible-believing Christ-loving obedient born again Christian should read or listen to Nancy Demoss Wolgemuth, or attend her conference.
"Beware lest any man [or woman] spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ." (Col 2:8)
1. Nancy has no Biblical testimony of salvation.
This is where it starts to go bad, and naturally so. She claims to be saved at the age of four, but no actual details are provided, no actual testimony is given. There is reason for that of course -- what can an adult remember from the age of four? Furthermore, there is practically no one that is truly saved at that age, and that is for a number of important reasons, which we have covered in detail in other reports, especially the report on The Counterfeit Salvation of Doubting, Uncertainty and Rededication, Frequently Accompanied with Asking Jesus Into The Heart. In this report we give examples of the insidious and deplorable counterfeit “salvation” that is being accepted as truth in majority of professing Christian churches today (of the evangelical, reformed, Protestant, Baptist, type of churches, especially evangelical), most influenced by Keswick theology.
No Biblical testimony of salvation means she is unsaved and everything is theatre, works of self-glory and/or riches (both of which appear to be the case, pursuing the spotlight, and then marrying a very wealthy man). It's a show of false pretence and hypocrisy. Though the woman might rage against this statement, it doesn’t change the facts. She loves herself, clearly revealed in her bios (for example). True salvation occurs when a repentant sinner responds to the Spirit's conviction, which you can read about here, and then departs the spotlight, like Saul of Tarsus: Are You Saved?
2. Nancy's ministry of "revival" is foundationally wrong, and tied to unsound doctrine.
Her ministry is called Revive Our Hearts. It's all about revival, a word she doesn't seem to understand, likely due to a number of reasons including the corrupted perversions of God that she uses and endorses. "Nancy has touched the lives of millions of women through Revive Our Hearts and the True Woman Movement, calling them to heart revival and biblical womanhood." She claims to be "reviving" women that profess to be Christian (though in our estimation right close to 100% are not). That is her audience entirely, and thus the people she is attempting to "revive." The problem is, Biblical revival is nothing like what she is doing, nor is it for saved people. Thus her entire "ministry" is built upon a false philosophy ("revival" for true Christians). It's an avenue for wolves to line their pockets (Rom 16:18; 1 Tim 6:3-5) and keep the lost, lost.
The serious Keswick-based theological message of confusion is being propagated, where someone does not have a a true biblical-based testimony of salvation, lacks godly biblical fruit, does not obey the bible, lives in gross worldliness (which is all of them, appearing like men with their hair chopped short and wearing the garments of a man, rejecting the doctrine of godliness, which actually makes them transgenders, hence why we hear very little sound bytes from the evangelical world on transgenderism), is carnal, yet allegedly saved, a true Christian. This is plainly wicked. Making twofold children of hell, rather than delivering them from the deception they live in (2 Cor 4:3-4). And she (and they) does it on the back of “revival,” corrupting this biblical doctrine in the process as well. They just need to have personal “revival,” which starts in “their own little circle” apparently (hence all the circle-making in the True Women 12’ conference), when in reality they need to be born again and delivered from the pseudo, false and worldly/fleshly-based “faith” that they have deceived themselves into believing is real. It's not. There is real cause for the confusion and contradictions and hypocrisy in their lives, and it's not because they lack "revival." The pews that Nancy fills at her conference are loaded with "lukewarm Christians" and "carnal Christians" according to her and their own testimony, but these aren't Christians at all. "Carnal Christianity" is not Christianity, it’s false conversion, Rom 8:1-9 makes that abundantly clear, as do the following reports exposited out of Scripture: Does the Bible Teach the Class of Christian known as “Carnal Christian”? and Misinterpretation of 1 Corinthians 3:1-3 to Produce the Erroneous Teaching of "Carnal Christianity." "Lukewarm Christianity" is not Christianity, it’s false conversion, made patently clear in Rev 3:17-18. We expose these errors, along with "Backsliding Christianity" and "Unbelief Christianity," in the report Keswick Currency of “Unbelief,”“Lukewarm,” “Backsliding,” and “Carnal,” Describe False Professing “Christians,” Not True Born Again Believers.
To produce the environment that these "revivalists" pursue after, they have to continue propelling the audacious claim that false "Christians" (i.e., the “Lukewarm,” “Backsliding,” and “Carnal Christian,” in Unbelief) are true Christians ("deceiving and being deceived," 2 Tim 3:1-9, 13), but naturally in need of "revival" because of the turmoil and destructive lives and lies that they live, and they, the "revivalists," are here to produce that warm, feelings-emotions based environment that enables their deliverance back to the Lord, their recommitment and rededication, thus manufacturing the heretical emotion-based revivalism they attempt to produce. Ungodly CCM music is used for this purpose as well, touched on further below. This is the false gospel of self-fulfillment exposed in our report: The True Gospel of Self-Denial and Self-Abandonment vs The False Gospel of Self-Fulfillment.
This is not Biblical revival, but a counterfeit. It is emotion-led, feelings-based, fake fleshly worship that has zero basis in Scripture, that seeks after some mystical and unBiblical experience of "the presence of God" and a euphoric, emotional uprising, especially problematic in women. But it does dovetail perfectly with the general heresy of evangelicalism today whom are captured by the deception and seduction, which is almost entirely apostate, including the Evangelical Mennonite denominations of EMC and EBMC. Any sort of "revival" found in these sort of environments are characteristically false. Revivalism is unBiblical.
Revival, Biblically, pertains to the lost, not to the saved. Revival, or the concept of being revived, in scripture, is referring to a conditional need of lost people for salvation, not saved people. Revival is entirely associated with soteriology, rather than sanctification, which we make patently clear in the report: What is Revival According to Scripture? Revivalism, the teaching intricately tied with Keswick-type theology, is tied to a wrong doctrine of salvation and sanctification and then the methodology that accompanies those. One of the reasons that the professions and decisions are called "revival" is because they are just professions and decisions. They aren't actual salvation and practical sanctification that follows true salvation. They are experiences primed by manufactured, external stimuli, and labeled some type of work of God. Actual, real results are not expected. This point is built into their plans of salvation and doctrinal statement. No real repentance and conversion must occur for the revival of revivalism. You can plan on something that you can make happen. Since it is you making it happen, know then that it isn't God making it happen. God will do things that are of Him, characterized by Him. The planned revivals of revivalism are made by men, using human techniques. They are not revival. Revival can occur, concerning unsaved people, but it won't have anything to do with our planning of it. If it does occur, those with whom it does occur will be fully cognizant, clear thinking people that are unconverted but deeply convicted and repentant, understanding their need for conversion. They will hear plain, thorough biblical exposition. They will be good soil, with hearts ready to hear, and then be truly and dramatically converted. If the soil on which the seed is cast isn't good, no other factor will change the result. Manipulating the soil with revivalism doesn't glorify heaven but makes unsaved people two-fold children of hell.
Another important point concerning this matter — no revival movement has ever been successful without de-emphasizing doctrine. Doctrine divides, and division is the opposite of multiplication — the supposedly incontrovertible measure of revival. This is why events such as True Women majorly deemphasize sound doctrine, while focusing on a mere few "essentials," another casualty of the heresy of revivalism and neo-evangelicalism, reported on here: The False Practice of Ranking Doctrine into “Essentials” and “Non-Essentials” is Phariseeism.
3. Nancy's ministry and True Women Conference is ecumenical, which is heretical and ungodly. She has no issue associating with false teachers and ungodly wolves, or exposing her audience to them.
Nancy is known for associating with or recommending a large variety of heretics and apostates, almost without limit. It is consistent in her life, and undoubtedly her library is loaded with the writings of wicked shepherds and heretics. This includes contemplative mystics such as emergent Richard Foster and Dallas Willard, two very heretical and wicked wolves in sheep's clothing, who endorse literally every kind of heresy and practically every evil possible, encyclopedic volume length if they were to be listed (including contemplative mysticism/prayer, which is demonic, and emergent church heresies, which are evil and works of darkness). She actually points her audience to Richard Foster, one of the founders of spiritual formation — a movement whose central disciplines revolve around contemplative prayer and other forms of Eastern mysticism, and to Dallas Willard, a key mentor in emergent church, which is loaded with heresies in high places. Willard believes in a false gospel of process salvation, rejects the gospel of believing in Christ’s atonement and in fact rejects the true gospel almost in its entirety, including that it changes a persons life completely or that a person must have faith in Christ to be saved. He embraces heretical kingdom-now theology, rejects the Biblical truth that God is wrathful and says that the true idea of God is that He is only loveable, which is a false god. He embraces many, many further heresies (as do the others mentioned here, embracing many of the same heresies) , including embraced post-millennialism of sorts, that the kingdom of God will be established gradually through the transformation of men and society; promoted contemplative spirituality, embraced new thought, Word-Faith doctrine that mind affects matter, was a ravening ecumenist with zero allegiance to God's Word, etc. By now these wolves in sheep's clothing know better, but their ungodly doctrines of devils continue being dangerously promoted and propagated by heretical women like Nancy Leigh DeMoss Wolgemuth.
She is also closely associated with the popular heretic and hedonistic Calvinist John Piper, whom we expose here: Exposing John Piper: Reformed Calvinist, Neo-Evangelical, False Teacher, Wolf in Sheep's Clothing. She horrifically sought Pipers counsel as to whether she could marry a man after having devoted her life to serving the Lord as a single lady. This is wrong on so many levels. 1 Cor 7 already gives the answer, which she would believe, if she was an actual true believer, but moments like this bring out the true "trust" and "faith" that unregenerate charlatans have. Their trust isn't in the living God but in man.
True Women does promote ecumenicalism, which error is much worse than we can express, and does expose them as ungodly charlatans without even considering anything else.
"We’re believing God for a historic gathering of women to join together and Cry Out! for such a time as this. Will you join us?"
Regardless of belief, true conversion (1 Jn. 1:1-3), doctrinal unity (1 Cor. 1:10), etc, Nancy yokes together with any and every sort of woman, which is entirely contrary to God's Word (1 Tim 6:3-5; Gal 2:4-5; 2 Tim 4:3-4; 2 Cor. 6:14-18; 11:3-4).
Nancy loves and promotes Brother Lawrence (Laurence Freeman), an unregenerate and apostate Catholic priest and mystic and a Benedictine monk of the Monastery of Sta Maria di Pilastrello, in Italy, a monastery of the Olivetan Congregation, and the Director of the unbiblical and ungodly World Community for Christian Meditation, whom she has quoted positively many times, including here: source. In this linked article she is actually even promoting his contemplative heresy, including his wicked book "The Practice of the Presence of God" (you can read about his heresies on the "presence of God," a teaching that is extremely prevalent in "evangelicals" today including Demoss, right here). Why would a professing Christian want to turn to an apostate Roman Catholic monk and wolf in sheep's clothing in order to learn about Christian spirituality, a monk to whom the Word of God is closed, and actively seeks sheep to bring to slaughter? This is to introduce leaven into Nancys’ audience, plain and simple, and it shows something deeply wrong within the heart of Nancy indeed, for only deceived unsaved charlatans walk after the voice of strangers (Jn 10:1-5).
"Can two walk together except they be agreed?" (Am 3:3)
Speakers at her True Women Conference this year, 2025, include a number of compromised and heretical professing Christians, such as Kevin DeYoung, who is a popular Neo-Evangelical, Reformer and Presbyterian, thus embracer of many heresies and perversions of Scripture, and rejector of critical doctrines such as the doctrine of separation and preservation of Scripture. He is also a leader in the exceedingly heretical The Gospel Coalition (TGC), which is filled with every heresy imaginable. In the past, Nancy has hosted exceedingly false teachers such as woke leftist Russel Moore, Tony Evans (a demon exorcist, promoter of Dominionism and Kingdom Now Theology, etc), Kay Arthur, etc, all of which are extremely ecumenical and furthering that Satanic agenda, and promoters of heresies and damnable heresies by the truck load. Nancy ministers to Christian women along with other prominent "Christian" women who are self-appointed, unbiblical "church leaders" and ministry heads, some being Pentecostals, Dominionists, feminists and/or contemplatives. Two of these ungodly apostates include Priscilla Shirer and Janet Parshall, the former being a massive proponent of contemplative prayer, whose ungodly mentor is motivational speaker Zig Ziglar, and who associates with absolutely any heretic or apostate, regardless of far down the pit of hell they are (even the Catholic monk Richard Rohr). She even hears "God" speaking to her in a small voice. Parshall loves the absolutely wicked and apostate Alpha Course of Nicky Gumbel, among many other heresies. Many of this years speakers are of reformed calvinist position, and all are neo-evangelicals. The accepted errors and unsound doctrine and worldly living is rampant among all speakers. Bob Lepine is another speaker, long-time co-host for Truth for Life with the heretic Alistair Begg, whose true colours came out early last year. Melissa Kruger is vice president of discipleship programming at horribly heretical The Gospel Coalition (TGC), which is truly tell-tale to the heretical doctrine and beliefs that is accepted under the umbrella of neo-evangelicalism and their version of "Christianity"at True Women. And why is a women in a position exerting leadership over men?? This is ungodly but becoming very popular in neo-evangelicalism and reformed calvinism. Mary Kassian of Edmonton, Alberta, is another neo-evangelical, power-hungry heretic, who claims that its not wrong for women to teach men, completely rejecting and perverting the clear teaching of 1 Tim 2:11-15 and 1 Cor 14:33-35, etc, probably the easiest doctrine to understand in all of Scripture. Almost every Biblical standard is perverted by this wolf in sheep's clothing, who even has the proud audacity to claim that the Bible doesn't teach the physical boundaries between and a man and woman prior to marriage. Wicked wolves corrupting the minds of the people, furthering the agenda of Satan, who is their father (Eph 2:1-3). Courtney Doctor is another reformed calvinistic heretic, a very popular position in Nancy's world, and currently serves as the Director of Women’s Initiatives for the horrendous TGC.
Again, the ungodly and heretical individuals that she associates with and bridges her audience to, speaks loud volumes to who Nancy truly is, and what her Satanic agenda really is.
Where did Nancy learn the unBiblical and ungodly practice of ecumenicalism, which is associating and partnering with heretical individuals, churches, groups, schools and so forth? She learned this practice two-fold: (1) Most importantly from her parents, who were extremely ecumenical in their association and involvement with the heretical Campus Crusade for Christ, Gordon-Conwell Seminary and Jerry Falwell's The Old-Time Gospel Hour. They also paved the way for Tim Keller’s founding of Redeemer Church in 1989, a very heretical man and wolf in sheep's clothing, who undoubtedly is cooking in the furnace of fire at the present. (2) Her second most important influence was that of Elisabeth Elliot, of whom she stated was instrumental in her life as a friend and mentor, and instrumental in her starting Revive Our Hearts in 2001. Well that is extremely troubling considering the ecumenicalism and heresies that Elliott embraced including a false gospel. In her book Taking Flight, Elliot reveals her perverted gospel and accursed soul, “It does not say that those who receive Christ become instant children of God. It says He gives them the right to become” (p. 12). Her ecumenical rebellion involved Roman Catholicism. She spoke at the Roman Catholic Franciscan University in 1989 and at Notre Dame in 1998. At a meeting on Sept. 6, 1997, at the Waukesha Wisconsin Expo Center, she exposed just how radically unscriptural her thinking has become when she claimed that a person can be both "Catholic and Christian in union," that "we can have unity in diversity; my brother [Thomas Howard] is a Catholic and a Christian." To the question "Then is it acceptable to celebrate the [Catholic] Eucharist?," she responded: "Yes." She also regularly joins hands with ungodly and heretical anti-separatists man-centred false teachers such as Billy Graham, Luis Palau, John Stott, James Dobson, and Haddon Robinson (previous editor of the unbiblical and ungodly publication, Christianity Today). All of these men are openly opposed to Biblical sound doctrine and obedience, and biblical separation. This is just a drop in the bucket concerning the heresies of Elizabeth Elliot, who really was an ungodly heretic, an agent of Satan (2 Cor 11:12-15), an accursed perverter of the gospel (Gal 1:6-9). The fact Nancy puts so much emphasis on Elliott's influence on her life, a heretic and committed ecumenist and Episcopalian, is seriously troubling and further points to her lack of true conversion.
She continues to learn the way of the heathen through her associations, and through her husband Robert Wolgemuth, whom she married in 2015. Robert is of Mennonite descent, and has gone heretical as majority of Mennonites have throughout the world. He loves and adores the heretical Taylor University where he is a faculty member, and attended as a student along with all five of his siblings. He, along with Nancy, have both been writers for the heretical The Gospel Coalition, which no true born again believer with an ounce of discernment touches with a ten foot pole. It appears Robert and Nancy are two peas in a pod when it comes to embracing heresy and the ecumenical agenda. In his publication of Men's Daily Bible (a project of Christian Standard Bible, which Nancy in fact oversees in opposition to the actual Word of God), the Contributors of Articles are the who's-who of neo-evangelicalism and reformed theology, most of which, if not all, are serious heretics and false teachers. These include David Wheaton, John Fuller, R.C. Sproul, Kevin DeYoung, Tim Challies, Albert Mohler Jr., Steven Lawson, etc.
This point alone, exposes Nancy as a VERY dangerous false teacher. It reveals she has NO spiritual discernment (Ac. 17:11; I Th. 5:21) and that she is in fact no different than the people she associates with (Am 3:3). Ecumenicalism is evil. Anyone that listens to her or reads her material or attends her conferences is a fool that is set up to be destroyed, and thus abundantly reveals their own unsaved estate. Separation is a foundation of our faith (e.g. Pr 18:1; 2 Cor 6:17-7:1), and "If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?" (Ps 11:3). The fool is always an unsaved person in Scripture, absent of wisdom, which comes through Jesus Christ, "In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge." (Col 2:3), and Who imparts His wisdom and knowledge unto all that He genuinely saves, "But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord." (1 Cor 1:30-31). It is interesting how these two verses on their own expose all professing Christians who follow after the stranger (Jn 10:1-5), after the false teacher and heretic (Rom 16:18), as being unregenerate and fakes, phony counterfeits, let alone the rest of Scripture. These hypocrites do not have wisdom, or righteousness, or sanctification, thus who do they glorify? Not the Lord but themselves; boasting, vaunting, puffed up, selfish-glory, demonstrated by their allegiance to man, to their family, to their besty false teachers, boasting of their worldly "love" and "niceness," while Scripture says Boasting is Sin, the Opposite of Godly Love and Humility, a Reflection of Unregeneracy (a 20/20 Report).
4. Nancy endorses pagan mysticism, which is unBiblical, ungodly and evil.
Nancy is into circle-making. She mixes this pagan practice of drawing prayer circles with her brand of Biblical Christianity, displaying circles "during the conference around the auditorium and in various places" in 2012 of True Women, to which someone stated, "And those circles were symbolic because they represented the fact that every woman wanted to put herself there, draw a circle around her own life and say, “God, what do You want to do in me?” (source). Nancy had this to say about them circles, brought forth in fact by her:"And as you pass by those in the days ahead, I want to encourage you, if there is room, to just step inside one of those circles." The heretics that were discussing these "circles" with Nancy in the "Report from True Woman '12" attribute these circles to "revival" and in the belief that prayer within the circle brought special concentration, protection, and power, further perverting the subject of Biblical revival. Nancy has also written articles defending this wicked and demonic practice of circle-making (e.g., Draw a Circle), exposed as occultic witchcraft here.
The prayer circle is a practice adapted from Jewish mysticism and paganism that is growing in popularity within the dangerous waters of “evangelicalism.” This is derived from the myth of a Jewish miracle worker rabbi named Honi HaMe’agel that is mentioned in the Jewish Talmud. To bring about rain, he drew a circle around himself and from within the circle demanded that God bring rain. The practice has been popularized by Mark Batterson, pastor of National Community Church, Washington, D.C., in The Circle Maker. The book, which has sold more than 1 million copies, promises to “show you how to claim God-given promises, pursue God-sized dreams, and seize God-ordained opportunities.” Batterson commits a massive error by interpreting Scripture by a Jewish myth instead of interpreting the myth by Scripture (and thus rejecting it). And Nancy and cohorts followed suit. The only sure protection in this age of frightful apostasy is to have a Biblical testing mindset: to be truly born again (which most of these women do not have, very likely including Nancy), to be a serious Bible student, and to test everything and everyone critically by the Word of God.
This practice is simply so patently pagan and ridiculous on the face of it, and the fact she has never repented of it and rather continued promoting the occultic practice, this point alone should reveal how corrupted her theology is, how undiscerning and Spirit-less she really is, and thus unregenerate. This should be obvious to any true born again Christian, but we know majority of the women that follow her are not.
5. Nancy tolerates and embraces sin and error without reservation, in her feelings based "ministry," where "niceness" and "hospitality" trumps truth and obedience.
Nancy and her conference companions speak of the suffering of women though difficult marriages, divorce, childhood sexual abuse, depression and anxiety, and these women come to her conference with deep pain and huge burdens, but she, Nancy, and her conference, True Women, is there to rescue them and heal them. Sure they claim "Jesus" is "the healer of those wounds," but nothing they do in their preaching, teaching, counselling, is even remotely how the Jesus of the Bible would do it. It's all fluff and stuff to pamper the limbic system emotions. Because they cannot and will not differentiate between saved and unsaved, they treat everyone as a true Christian, which is the greatest tragedy of these ecumenical and heretical events. The doctrine of “niceness” is 100% unbiblical and ungodly and actually evil. But it’s one of neo-evangelicals “essential“ doctrines. We expose this heresy here: Niceness and Hospitality as the Parameter of Acceptance, Not Truth and Righteousness.
6. Nancy's True Women Conference is neo-evangelical and psychoheretical, in its teachings, and leans mostly to the reformed calvinistic side.
With all of these conferences put on by Nancy Leigh DeMoss Wolgemuth, you’ll notice the same general terms and vocabulary being used: together, unite, rise, change, Jesus changes everything, being the church, global, heaven on earth, next generation, heaven come, release heaven, revival, spiritual awakening, cities and nations transformed, gather, equip, mobilize, awaken, reset, and heal our nation. This reeks of psychoheresy, which indeed floods the philosophy, doctrine and practices of these people. Their unity is faux and corrupted. Essentially everything they teach is corrupted to some degree, for it is entirely off at the foundation, which affects everything. There is also an emphasis on serving and being the hands and feet of Jesus, which is an unBiblical and heretical concept, instead of on Biblical obedience to sound doctrine, on true and genuine repentance and spreading the Gospel salvation message that all fake "believers" are unregenerate sinners and that Jesus Christ, who is our one and only Lord and Saviour (not some women's conference), has sacrificed Himself for us so they we can be forgiven and reconciled to a Holy God. Unsurprisingly, the unBiblical and heretical psychoheresy of unconditional forgiveness and unconditional love is rampant amongst these neo-evangelicals and their pow-wows, and Nancy has even authored a book on the subject (Choosing Forgiveness, 2006). The self-esteemism that is being encouraged upon the audience reflects "another Jesus" and "another spirit" and "another gospel" (2 Cor 11:4).
Nancy and most of Revive Our Hearts writers and speakers are of the heretical reformed calvinistic position. This is her doctrine, which is why most writers and speakers in her orbit and conferences are of this persuasion. In the following reports we expose the corrupted theology of reformed calvinism:
John Calvin's False Gospel, and Persecution/ Murder of Opponents

7. Nancy embraces false worship.
She has an affection for sinful worldly "Christian" Contemporary Music (CCM) music. which is the soundtrack of end-times apostasy, and the immoral glue that binds the one-world church. She doesn’t hate that which God hates, while the Bible tells us to “hate every false way” (Ps. 119:104) and to “have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.” (Eph. 5:11). That would mean to hate this CCM/“Christian” rock stuff and other worldly ungodly music and to reject professing “Christians” and “Churches” that compromise and apostatize with it. But instead of seeing that, we see adoration and love for these things that God hates. We must hate what they do and the way they do it, but Nancy doesn't hate. She is too busy loving these things so as to accommodate the world of Christ rejectors (which his church is full of). She doesn't hate the philosophy of ministry that this music represents and the way it misrepresents the God of the Bible. She doesn't hate the way it deceives the people with whom it is involved and what it does to churches. She doesn't hate the way that it harms and even ruins discernment and the way that it perverts a biblical or true understanding of spirituality and love and salvation. She doesn't hate the way that it endorses false worship. Instead, she tolerates it and has to do with it. It's disgusting. Nauseating of the face-in-palm kind. She loves what God hates, quite the opposite of what is written in Ps 119:127-128:
“Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yea, above fine gold. Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way.”
At this 2025 True Woman conference you have unBiblical, worldly fleshly-driven CCM musicians such as Shane and Shane. Keith and Kristen Getty have been performers there in the past, who are as fake and phony as a three dollar bill. Nancy seems to have the same goal as the Getty’s, which is an ecumenical, one-world-church, to “bring everyone together musically" (Getty's website). They want to “bridge the gap between the traditional and contemporary" (ibid). They have the facade of an attractive, “conservative-appearing” package but they are a truly great spiritual danger to all. Josh Davies has also performed at True Women, and he likewise is a CCM rocker. His website says his goal is "bringing nations together in worship" and it's through worldly and ungodly music that they attempt to do it. You would have really no idea that these people are even Christians based upon their website and the things they say and do. They are worldly to the core, no different than the rest of the unsaved without-any-false-religious-pretence world. And no different than the world of neo-evangelicalism. All of it is very contrary to God's Word (1 Jn 2:15-17; Rom 12:1) and they are indeed the enemies of God (Jam 4:4).
Nancy and her conference loves ungodly, worldly "Christian" Contemporary Music (CCM), music that offends a Thrice Holy God who kills professing believers for offering strange fire worship to Him (Lev 10:1; Num 3:4), and has commanded the singing of “psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord” (Eph 5:19) and to love obedience to His Word greater than gold and and to “hate every false way” (Ps 119:127-128), and to “Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good” (Rom 12:9), rejecting this faux music masquerading as "Christian," for the plain fact that ALL so-called “Christian” Contemporary Music is entirely of the world, of the flesh and of the devil, and nothing about it is Biblical, not its lyrics, not its musicians, not its melody of syncopation, not its beat, not its attraction or adoration, not its flaunting sensual style, and that it altogether has a worldly, non-judgmental, anti-separatist, ecumenical and ungodly philosophy that is most definitely contrary to the sound apostolic doctrine and faith of God’s Word (Rom 16:17), operating in complete opposition to the holiness and godliness and righteousness of the grace of God (Ti 2:11-14). The songs are sang in sensual and syncopating, un-resolving tones, sensually crowed into a microphone ice-cream style, which is further sinning against God, not obeying His Word, and demonstrating an absent of love for Him while loving self, and selfish-glory and vaunting of self.
God the Son said true believers "worship the Father in spirit and in truth" (Jn 14:23-24). Neither "spirit" or "truth" is present in CCM worship.

8. Nancy loves and endorses modern "Bible" perversions (e.g., ESV, CEB).
This alone speaks volumes and is reason enough not to endorse her material or attend her conference. Anyone that lacks discernment over the most important subject in the world, and in Christianity, that of the Word of God which God says is greater than His own Name (Ps 138:2), eveals to be one very likely without the indwelling Holy Spirit (1 Cor 1:15-16). In 2021 Wolgemuth was selected as general editor for the Christian Standard Bible. The project is in partnership with Holman Bibles, all of which are ungodly and perverted, blasphemous perversions of God's Word. We dive into this subject here: Why Modern Bible Versions are Corrupt, and the King James Version is Not. And why is a woman in a position overseeing men, a woman that preaches to other woman on being alleged godly women? That also is unBiblical and ungodly, and reveals hypocrisy. Should Women Ever Hold Authority Over Men?
Conclusion
Revive our Hearts is under the umbrella agency Life Action, which promotes plenty of the same heresies and worldliness and ecumenicalism. Nancy and Revive Our Hearts, and its annual True Women Conference, is a hodge-podge of neo-evangelicalism and reformed theology, ecumenicalism and psychoheresy, a pot-pouri of heresy and wolf-like behaviour, and must be exposed. They are shipwrecked on the shoals of rank heresies.
Wolves in disguise have slyly entered the flock and are deceiving many. For this reason, it is important to closely examine their teachings. And since it is impossible to separate the teachings from the teacher, we make no effort to sidestep certain personalities or soften positions taken by these individuals. Nevertheless, this examination is not done for the purpose of tearing down or simply to be negative, but only to help those who wish to be Biblical.
True Biblicists and obeyers of God's Word have always been accused of negativism and of delving into personalities in its polemic against error, sin, heresies and heretics; but now the attack extends into not even touching on the negative aspects of doctrine. The Bible however has no such hands-off policy. The Bible uses terms such as "false prophets" (Matt 7:15; 24:24; 2 Pet 2:1), "heresies" (2 Pet 2:1), "heretic" (Ti 3:10), "false teacher" (2 Pet 2:1), "false apostles, deceitful workers" (2 Cor 11:13), "doctrines of devils" (1 Tim 4:1), "tradition of men" (Col 2:8); "evil workers" (Phil 3:2); "another gospel" and "accursed" (2 Cor 11:4; Gal 1:6), "antichrists" (1 Jn 3:18), "evil men and seducers" (2 Tim 3:13), "deceivers" (2 Tim 3:13), "every wind of doctrine" (Eph 4:14), "unfruitful works of darkness . . . reprove them" (Eph 5:11), "them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned" (Rom 16:17), "liars, evil beasts, slow bellies" (Ti 1:12), etc. In the report, Answering False Accusations of Warring Spiritual Warfare, we delve into many unbiblical arguments made against true Biblical spiritual warfare.
Opposition and heresy from without and within have made defence of the faith always an imperative and critical element of the ambassador for Christ, and evangelist. But today many are enamoured by personalities and popularity, thereby consistently ignoring many passages of scripture such as Rom 16:17, which teaches:
"Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them."
The born again believers at Rome, and everywhere, are to "MARK them . . and AVOID them" that bring teachings that are contrary to sound doctrine. WHY? Because these false teachers serve themselves, not Christ, though they profess Christ with fanfare, and deceive the hearts of the naive and gullible (false believers, Pr 14:15, 18; 1:20-32). with smooth and flattering talk, which is truly what women like Nancy Leigh DeMoss Wolgemuth represent:
"For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple." (Rom 16:18)
The Bible never tells us to fellowship with "them" while ignoring their destructive heresies -- that would be compromise and treacherous to Christ, reflective of someone that is not in fact a servant of Christ but a servant of man (Gal 1:10). Instead, the Bible teaches that sound doctrine cannot be perpetuated through compromise (1 Cor 15:33; 2 Jn 1:6-11), and that compromise cannot be avoided without separation (2 Jn 1:10-11; Eph 5:11; Rom 16:17-18).
Flee from false teachers such as Nancy Leigh DeMoss Wolgemuth and True Women Conferences, lest you expose yourself to be a false believer following after the flattery and ear tickling (2 Tim 4:3-4) of these self-esteemism coaches. You are a fulfillment of 2 Tim 4:3-4, continuing on the broad path to destruction and eternal damnation:
"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables."
