Many professing Christians and church’s embrace Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) music today, of which a small percentage only use the lyrics and melody without the characteristic soft rock beat and rhythm of electric/bass guitars and drums. But either are equally bad. CCM musicians like Mark Hall and Casting Crowns are very popular in evangelicalism and other professing Christian groups, who present themselves as Christian but represent a different Jesus, gospel and spirit
